Indoor seating, pottery
Amber H.

Such a quaint little gem tucked away in downtown Round Rock near the new library! Immediately upon entering, the fragrance of a freshly baked cookies and pie warmed our noses. Coffee and treats amongst a variety of local art, including pottery, paintings, leather, jewelry, and more was quite a treat. Cozy back yard seating around a fire pit offered an alternative to indoors. The owner was there cooking her treats and was a delight to talk to. We will definitely return!

This ain't no "plaster fun time"!…read more Looking for a fun way to spend an afternoon? Feeling artsy? Want a great idea for a date night? Want to learn to make your own pottery? Then you have to go to Ceramics and More! This veteran, woman owned small business has become a fixture in Pflugerville for good reason. You can walk in and choose from a wide variety of "blanks" (ranging in size and price point, there's something for everybody and any skill level), to include seasonal options, to paint yourself. You leave the pottery item with them to be fired and get picked up at a later date. They can host individuals, groups and even host parties. They have snacks there too! And have a super helpful staff to help you with your project or give you ideas. And. Now. You can even learn how to make your own pottery there too with a room of pottery wheels and classes!!! A super fun way to MAKE pottery items for you or your loved ones. I LOVE THIS PLACE and am in there routinely. Check it out for yourself and if you see me in there please say hi!

Located in the near downtown Pflugerville, this is the place to get your pottery painting on!…read more They just recently expanded their site and can host large groups and now offer pottery making classes. We did a 12 person team bonding event here for my daughter's club volleyball team. It was perfect! The owner was kind and helpful throughout the process. We had the room that was part of the expansion and could bring in our own snacks. The girls picked the item of their choice to paint and then I picked them all up a few days later. I highly recommend supporting local and booking an event here!

Starting to be one of the Hop Queen's favorite places to stop in at, while we're driving by. Sister business in same area/if not same company. I had order single stones in sets of 5, that were quite expensive and received a couple stones that were awesome and unusable-which, would be my complaint *pending I find out any of these orders are glass or compounds rather than the natural stones that are advertised. The 3d turquoise clover in 10 mm *which also, was 8 mm~one stone was not usable. These are stones not on a strand but instead orders of 5 or 10 counts. I expect nicer quality. A strand will have stones that are chipped, not cut or drilled properly but if I am purchasing a loose stone, I want to be able to use it. I dont mind the stone size-I am using g the others for some pretty earrings but sizing is off, on everything. I am ordering a couple more strands because I am making very pretty bracelets but I cannot tell a customer, with confidence, these are genuine stones, so I can't price accordingly and will not break even for these collections at this point. I just dont want to lose money on returns or bad publicity. So I will say this-if you are purchasing for art/crafts and your gifting or personal enjoyment, this is a terrific hub to purchase. The stones really are pretty and fun. You can make BEAUTIFUL jewelry/crafts, for sure. I WILL order again. I am aware it is possible some are not authentic as listed. They have nice sales. If you buy 500 plus, awesome discounts. I recommend this business 100%, with caveat-this is likely not jeweler authentic stones 100% of the time. If you are just making fun stuff-who cares...the stones are pretty. *I do want loose stones to be as nice as tgey can be is my only complaint

I have to be honest, Hobby Lobby is my zen place, my nirvana, my little slice of Heaven on earth…read moreevery time I enter their doors. As usual, my visit with my sister and niece the Saturday before Easter went well and lasted much longer than it should have because I always peruse every. single. aisle. (I might miss something if I don't-crafters, you know what I mean, right?!?) Anyway, our party headed up to the register, chatting away and laughing with one an other, having just a great time being present in the moment and looking forward to our upcoming holiday day with the family. Then, it happened: the cashier, who was clearly not having a good day, did nothing more than mumble my total when I checked out and then was downright nasty to my sister to the point that she asked her if she was ok as the girl scanned her purchases. The question seemed to exacerbate the bad mood, so we just walked away. She very obviously did NOT want to be there. Talk about a mood killer! I was so bothered by the interaction that I called the manager from the parking lot, who seemed pleasant on the surface but obviously just wanted me off the phone and seemed put out that he had to take a customer call. I told him what happened, explained that I'm sure she didn't really mean harm, but that he had a clearly upset employee in the most customer facing role in the store. I thought maybe if he knew, he'd want to do something else with her time while she was in such a bad state that day. I don't know what action he took, if any, but I did try to help. This was disappointing, but it won't stop me from going back into HL, which is one of my favorite places in the world. It definitely gave me pause and makes me wonder what she must have been going through that day to be in such a horrible mood. Also, I might check out the location in Georgetown, instead.

First and foremost, I want to give the huge shout out to the cashier named Andrea. She was so…read moreincredibly helpful and generous. I cannot think of enough for being such a kind person!
