I will go back again and again, as long as my cancer allows and I will hope to have Ryleigh's services!

I've tried a number of therapists over the years, and I am SO happy to have found Sarah! She came across as very comfortable working with a very large person and has a nice big adjustable table that felt very sturdy and safe. She made it easy to ask questions, let her know what was working for me, what adjustments I needed, etc... The building has an elevator with parking right outside the entrance, a bathroom nearby all very convenient. Her space is immaculate, quiet, and felt very private. She's understandably in demand so you have to book ahead but she's spoiled me for any other massage therapist. I could not recommend her more highly!

To her credit she worked very hard but I had to keep telling her "too hard" as it felt very uncomfortable. I love deep tissue but this was not relaxing, although she did a good job on my lower back. After a while when I realized he didn't understand what I asked for, I interrupted him and pointed to my calves. He got it then. The massage was okay--lots of pressure, sometimes too much that it was painful. To be fair, I was very sore to begin with. The foot part was kind of painful, and different on each side. Afterwards, I paid and gave him a signed receipt to which he replied, "How much tip?" I told him and he complained in what little English he knew to say that I asked for a calf massage and only tipped 20%. First, I didn't know a 20% tip was an insult. Second, it left such a bad taste in my mouth that I don't think I'd go back. We are not required to tip service. Gratuity is based on experience. And my experience was average at best.

When I called to make the appointment, I was informed that the cost is $75 for the 60-minute foot reflexology and cash for tip (all of which I had no problem). Prior to the massage, I was charged the $75 which was fine. At the conclusion of my massage I paid the employee a 20% tip. As I was walking away, the employee stopped me and pointed to the sign on the wall which identifies their tipping rates. She was making a point that I under tipped her based on the sign and she was insinuating I pay her more. The sign listed a 60-minute massage as a tip rate of $20 (which is more than 20%). Mind you, the sign did not contain language such as suggested or recommended. Furthermore, their website says nothing about a mandatory tip requirement. Per MA state law, businesses cannot require a tip on services nor can employers demand/request a tip (unless it is a service charge or for large parties). Tips are considered discretionary and are up to the customer. While it was my goal to leave this experience relaxed and rejuvenated, I ended up leaving offended and annoyed.
