We both woke up this morning in so much pain. The foot massage was enjoyable and met my expectations but the back acupressure portion felt much rougher than expected and left me uncomfortable at times. However, I understand that pressure preferences can be subjective and not necessarily an issue with the masseuse! What unfortunately impacted my experience the most happened at checkout. I paid in cash and left approximately a 17% tip. After seeing the amount, the employee made many comments such, "that's it?" "oh no no" and demanded that I needed to leave more and insisted on a 20% tip. I ended up adding a few extra dollars because the interaction made me extremely uncomfortable. I found this especially disappointing because making comments about a customer's tip amount is EXTREMELY inappropriate and unprofessional. Tipping should remain voluntary. Unfortunately, this has left me hesitant to return.
