I found Dr. Martin Cutler and Kate McGann at Body and Skin Center - because I had just moved into the area and hoped to find a good clinic near me. When I walked in the first time- they made me feel welcome and comfortable. I knew immediately that I was understood and they both helped to guide me through all of the many different options- and without any pressure. I took the leap and I am thrilled with the effects. I had botox on my Frown lines, forehead lines and crows feet- and I also had some fillers in/on a few small areas - I look refreshed and natural! Just what I dared to hope for! Thank you Dr. Cutler and Kate! I am looking forward to visiting again - I strongly recommend Body and Skin Center. You will be happy if you go!

I apologized while checking in. I forgot my license but let her know I had a picture of it on phone. I Was told that ID wasn't enough and that she'd ask if I could even be seen because I was late. As I stood there the receptionist went around the corner and I could hear her talking to the doctor saying I was late and my license wasn't with me. She never mentioned the picture of it but then the doctor says "what kind of insurance does she have? " I then stated in a clear voice my insurance type and I could hear the doctor say NO she couldn't see me. The receptionist comes back and informs me how swamped they are and says she needs to rebook me. The office has one other person in it but ok. The next available appointment is in THREE months. Now my insurance isn't that great and the doctor was more concerned about that instead of what was wrong with me as I suffer from head and neck pain, nerve problems, raw skin and swelling eyes and mucus membranes and other things as well. I have a very hard time making doctors appointments because of anxiety and am working on finding out why I'm so sick all the time. She has no idea because her only question was about my insurance type. I just had to leave. Im 100% sure I can find a dermatologist in under 3 months. 3months!! I realize I was late and the license thing was embarrassing but I had a picture of it. I would of been happy to reschedule but they have NO TIME for me. Its obvious their priorities are off. I'm standing there sick and suffering and get come back in three months. NO ! The receptionist was no joy to deal with, which is always fun too. No wonder she has one star on yelp. I am sincerely Sorry I was late though. Zero stars from me because I got over a month of my time wasted and they wanted me to suffer for three months while the receptionist smirks at me. As my eyes burn out of my head and the nerve pain is so bad my scalp is so painful I could cry. Again... I'd reschedule or wait or whatever but the lack of concern for me and focus on my insurance was telling and being smirked at like I deserve it and like I'm an a*%hole was infuriating. Don't be late if you choose these 1star wonders. It seems like they want a different kind of client, like face filler, Botox ect.

I have been blessed to receive massage treatments from Monique for the last year. I have been putting off leaving a review because she is already booked up often and it is so difficult to find a massage therapist who works with such attention to detail and intuitive care as she does. She manages time well, creating a well-rounded experience that accounts for the specific needs I've requested. Her attention is directed with tangible positive energy. I always leave feeling refreshed and rested! I usually go for massage but I also highly recommend checking out the other treatments at this spa.

If you are looking for the perfect place to treat yourself or someone you love, look no further…read morethan The Spa at Briar Barn Inn! I have been fortunate enough to have visited this spa multiple times over the past two years and I can honestly say that each time I do, I am even more impressed than I was before (which I didn't think was possible). There is such a calming and welcoming vibe from the moment you walk through the front door. The spa is meticulously clean, totally zen and the staff is top-notch. Angelica, the Spa Manager, was beyond accommodating and made the most perfect recommendation for my friend and I (whom I treated to a spa day for her birthday). We started off with facials, massages and ended with a foot soak- the "spa day package" which was an incredible experience and value! Erin was the Massage Therapist and was magical as was Lexa, the Licensed Esthetician who did our facials. My best friend told me this was one of "the best spa experiences she has ever had" and this was undoubtedly because of the courteous and talented team at The Spa at Briar Barn Inn! To top it off, after our services were complete, my friend and I were able to enjoy a couple of hours by the outdoor pool (which was quiet and so relaxing). There is not one detail that has gone unnoticed when it comes to rest and relaxation here. Not only are these treatments good for your body but they are truly good for the soul. I already booked my next spa day for November and I can't wait to go back. Treating yourself is important...equally as important as WHERE you choose to treat yourself. Coming from someone who has enjoyed multiple services over the years at this spa, I promise you will not be disappointed!
