DO NOT USE Merry Maids. They did my apartment last Friday. The person stole from me. My whole shelf of towels, all my cologne sets, washcloths, laundry supplies, laundry basket, clothes. I had tall laundry basket with dirty clothes. They were thrown all over laundry room floor. Used the basket to put all the stolen stuff in. They also took whole box of medical supplies. My makeup and some clothes. All my towels were brand new and never used. My shelf has never been empty. I would say at least 25 towels and 2 5 pack of washcloths. Every cologne set was never opened. I am disabled and have foot injury and use walker. I sat outside to keep out of way. I believe the stuff was outside front door. 3 min breezeway to parking lot. Probably left basket etc n waited til I came inside. I saw cleaner n assistant both come inside from patio. The cleaner Laura was very rude and unfriendly.i even gave tip. Law will be called and charges will be made to both Laura and Merry Maids. This makes me sick and bad enough I have limited mobility. Made it easy for them. I hope Laura is enjoying my stuff. It won't do any good in jail. Remember DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT EVER let these low life thieves anywhere near your house. How many other people have been robbed. n . I live on fixed income and don't have money to replace. So now I sit and read more

Way too expensive for what you get. Many other maid services in Charlotte for less than half the price.

I had company coming in town for Memorial Day weekend, and finally broke down and hired cleaners to be sure things were in order. I had to travel the day they came, but when I returned home at 10pm I was shocked at what I saw. I specifically asked for a spring/deep cleaning. I was asked directly if I would like to have the refrigerator cleaned also, to which I said yes. I sent an email, with the pictures showing the results, the very next morning. The manager called, said she was sorry, and that I'd get a call once the owner returned on Tuesday. Today is Sunday. There's been no call, and I just saw that they have proceeded with the charges, at $92 an hour. My pictures are posted in the photos. My advice, get referrals of local/private cleaners in your neighborhood. This was such a disappointment and waste of money, I still had to clean before my company arrived. read more

Dont Use MerryMaids!! They are the worst. We've been using MerryMaids for more than a year in my previous resident and now our new house. They sent us two maids that ruined our wall with water and cleaners and they didn't clean the house properly. Bathrooms were still dirty and some spots at home made it seem that it was not cleaned. We sent a message of dissatisfaction and was expecting a better customer service. This is a message from the owner referring us to MollyMaid lol. What a great customer service! And i took pictures of the still dirty spots and the water and chemical on the wall and posted it to next door. Somehow , I can post pictures here maybe most of the pictures will show dirt and dust. read more

*Update: I received a call from Merry Maids first thing this morning in regards to my bad experience. I wasn't slammed with a bunch of excuses. They took ownership and apologized. They gave me the option to not be charged and we rescheduled another cleaning with the original cleaning ladies from the first time. Running a business is tough and not everyone is going to put in the effort you'd expect out of your own business 100% of the time but the fact that there was such a fast turn around to take ownership, fix the issues, and apologize means a lot. I'm hoping this next cleaning is as good as the first one because so far I like the way they've handled business when faced with conflict. Thanks Jenny* The first time they cleaned my home they had zero issues getting into my apartment complex. The second time I got two phone calls trying to figure out how to enter the apartment. I explained. An hour went by not security cameras never picked up that anyone arrived. I called at 1130am to ask if she got in. They told me she'd be back in an hour. I called at 130 to say she hadn't shown. I was told they've arrive at 215. They never showed. I called back at 3 to ask if they would be there. They told me they were looking for parking. For 45 minutes? Oh ok. They arrived at 330 and hustled to get out of here. My rugs were just left thrown across the living room, my bathroom mats weren't put back, my coffee maker still had coffee in it. (Cleaned it spotless the first time.) I'm already on the hunt for the next cleaner. I don't appreciate paying over $100 then adding tip (that they had no problem taking) to come home to clean up after maids that threw me off my schedule all day. (I find placed to put my dogs when the maids come so really causes a huge delay when the original arrival was gonna be 1030am) read more

Merry Maids of Charlotte makes the process of hiring a cleaning service so incredibly easy! Not only are they reasonably priced, but they will cater their services to your needs. Denise came for the estimate and totally knew her stuff... she confirmed exactly what we use to clean our wood floors so she could ensure her team used the same! Seems like a small detail but my mom's floors were ruined when some other service used a common wood cleaner on them - you never know how wood floors will react with different products. Very poor quality service. Left doors unlocked on several occasions and ran credit card thru without authorization. Now they are wanting a payment of $307 for services not done satisfactory. read more

The Merry Maids ladies are ANGELS!! As a busy nightshift nurse, I felt very overwhelmed with a move-out clean for my old apartment. Merry Maids swooped in, and made my apartment SPARKLING!! I can't speak enough to their professionalism, hard work, and dedication to their work. Without them, I would've never been able to get the apartment to such a sparkling level of clean in such a quick timeframe. We have used Merry Maids since about 1998. They do a superb job with outstanding attention to the details. They are trustworthy and we feel comfortable leaving the house while they are there. I had a cleaning on Wendesday, October 29th. After the cleaning I noticed that there were items missing from a cupboard in my kitchen and from each of my bathrooms. I was very upset that items had been stolen. When I called to let Merry Maids know, I told them I was very unhappy with the service and did not want to pay. The manager I spoke with said that she would speak to the owner and call me back. I did not get a call back and instead they charged my card even though I did not authorize it. When I called and spoke with the owner she had no interest in resolving the issue with me and instead told me I should call the police and report a theft. I would never ever recomend this business to anyone. read more

Great job on general cleaning. it is sometimes hard to tell if the "deeper cleaning" things are in the cleaning rotation. for instance; baseboards and dusting light fixtures. But i like that i get email reminder the day before and if i want to ask for something specific like these items to be done it is easy to do that! read more

Terrible service. The maids showed up at the wrong time and threw off my schedule. They were less than 20 years old, and I trusted them. But they were extremely irresponsible. They broke several parts of items in my home and clogged up the shower with something of which I have no idea. This service was awful. read more
