I shopped for weeks to find 3 possible contenders to buy within the Tri-state area and when I began haggling I was having a difficult time with two of the contending dealers, but Alberto Carrera was not only flexible, he was a gentleman throughout. It didn't feel like buying a car. It felt more like buying an upscale home. Much different (pleasant) from that of the typical boiler room, high-pressure sales environment typical of a car lot. Alberto is a class-act who was very patient with me and did everything he could to earn my business and at the end of the day, he most certainly did. 5 star review as I offered and promised.

The 1-star was necessary to post this review - As a…read morefour-time Audi owner and repeat Audi Meadowlands customer, I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. The sales experience was average at best. However, the handling of my out-of-state registration has been unacceptable. Throughout the process, I received inconsistent information, poor communication, and little accountability. In many cases, I only received important updates because I contacted the dealership myself. As a result of registration delays and administrative errors, I was unable to legally operate my newly purchased vehicle for 14 days and incurred additional expenses and significant inconvenience. I continued making payments on a vehicle that I could not drive through no fault of my own. What makes this experience particularly frustrating is that I have purchased four vehicles from Audi Meadowlands over the years and have remained a loyal customer despite living in different states. Unfortunately, the professionalism, communication, and customer service that once earned my loyalty were absent throughout this process. Customers should not be left without a usable vehicle because of avoidable registration issues, nor should they have to repeatedly chase down updates on their own purchase. This has been the worst automotive purchasing experience I have had and has seriously damaged my confidence in Audi Meadowlands. There is significant room for improvement, and I hope your team takes the necessary steps to address these shortcomings.

I visited the dealership to negotiate a lease on a 2026 Atlas Cross Sport. After working through options with a sales associate, we pivoted to an SE with Technology model and proposed a fair, realistic lease target. At that point, General Sales Manager Angelo Alexiadis stepped in. Instead of negotiating like a professional, Mr. Alexiadis engaged in aggressive interrogation tactics and blatant verbal intimidation. Rather than discussing numbers transparently, he repeatedly questioned where I got my budget figures and implied I was not being truthful. When I confronted him directly and stated that his behavior was making me feel like he was calling me a liar, he explicitly agreed. Feeling completely disrespected and uncomfortable, I immediately walked out. Unprofessional, abusive, and hostile toward prospective buyers. Save yourself the stress and take your business to a dealership that treats customers with basic respect.

I was there for a 'Pre-Purchase Auto Diagnostic' which the gentleman at the desk could not understand. I said a few times that I was looking for a pre-purchase inspection or diagnostic; whichever term hey wanted to use and he was confused. After a few round I pointed a the 'A-Z Diagnostics sign and said "This is what I am here for, a Diagnosis of the auto. He started to understand so went to the shop and a more week-versed English speaking gentleman came in to translate and agreed to do one immediately since they had no customers. They did a fairly quick inspection and came into the waiting room with a filthy Cabin Air Filter. Had dirt, bugs and what looked like pebbles in it. They said in addition to $25 part cost for a $25 filter and 30 min's labor it would be $75 for the filter unless I wanted them to replace my stabilizer links of which one was loose. He said he had to replace both and could not do only one side. The part cost for two small links was quotes as $59.68 per link and $119.36 for both links. With the labor, the cost would be $417.78 plus tax and they would not charge me labor charges to slide the new Cabin Air Filter in. Wow... that is nice of them. I had an issue with the filter but did not tell them that I had a new filter put in five days ago. I asked where my filter was and they stuck to "this is your filter". OK, maybe my eyes deceived me and I did not see a slightly dirty cabin filter thorn away and a clean white one slid into its proper spot, the filter cover replaced and the glove box snapped back in. I declined the filter and the loose like repair and paid them for the Diagnostic. After this type of treatment, I was concernerned about the link and whatever may need to be fixed by the dealer; if anything at all. I took it to Toyota dealer I have had good luck with in both purchases and repairs, Ft. Bend Sterling McCall. I agreed to pay $190 for a front end suspension inspection and did not mention the filter as I was going to take care of it myself for $15 - $16 if they put the filthy one back in. When I went to replace the cabin air filter I could not help but notice that there was NO Cabin Air Filter in there at all... LOL. Guess they kept my clean one to resell... ?? HaHaHa The inspection at Ft. Bend Sterling McCall resulted in a report of the auto having a nice tight front end suspension with no work needed. My service lead, Kelsey, then gave me a 50% discount for the inspection/diagnostic because it was very easy and in good shape. Drove off paying $101 and change. Do Not Trust these 'A-Z Diagnostics Total Car Care' guys. They wanted $427.63, including tax, for what cost me $15 - $16 for an air filter from AutoZone. $475.63 quote ended up costing me 3 to 4 hours and $16. Wow... Negative stars are not available so I gave them one. If Yelp! offers negative reviews and they would have earned a -5 for ignorance as to what a diagnostic is, switching filters and lying about a link.
