Sooooo I started renovating my living room & kitchen at the end of February 2023. So I started…read moreshopping for appliances. But I'm not finding anything that I liked that suited me. So I Bing (Like Google just different search engine) Appliance Stores with great service. And Gringer popped up. Tom gave me a tour of all that they had to offer including the downstairs. He also informed me that if I chose to use them that I could buy the appliances and they would hold onto them until I was ready for delivery. I liked this option. Seven months later, because wrong windows were ordered & kitchen floor needing to be replaced with new floor joists. I'm finally back at Gringer and Andrew helps me this time. Keep in mind both times I go to the store after work in my work clothes, so I'm kinda not smelling that great, diesel fuel & dirt on my sweatshirts. Not cute at all. But They treated me as if I had walked in with a Chanel suit. No judgement. And he does some thing that I think all customer service people should do. He asked me what I liked in the appliances that I was looking for what my style was, and what features that I needed. Then said he would put together some appliance packages. He asked me what I was OK with. Like if I needed to stay with the same brand or was it OK to mix and match and he said he would email me what he had for me & to go over them at my leisure, and get back to him. I appreciate a person who is a man or woman of their word, and he did exactly that. He gave me many options. He got back to me in a timely manner along with the options. He emailed me all of the spec sheets and everything had the cost on it. I went to appliance world in Huntington, Plessers in Babylon, Capuano in Farmingdale, several PC Richards and yes, even Lowe's and Home Depot. And online of course. So yes, I shopped around but from my first meeting with Tom and Andrew, I knew it was gonna come down to service which is very important when buying appliances . But not only was the service great the prices were outstanding and the fact that they checked out every rebate and discount for me was awesome. Finance options were also explained thoroughly. I didn't get delivery until February because this project is ridiculously long. So Gringer held my appliances for me until I was ready for delivery! My contractor took even longer to hook them up so I didn't know how great they were until this weekend. But I cannot recommend highly enough Gringer's exemplary customer service from beginning to end. And beautiful appliances to boot! 4-22-2024

To make matters worse, the fridge recently broke due to a faulty compressor. Had I known the truth, I never would have bought it. Feels like a huge case of misrepresentation. At first, I thought I could navigate this process on my own but then realizing this was not possible, I reached out to my first attorney who I found was not efficient and was then fortunate enough to be referred to William Streppone. From the very first meeting, Mr. Streppone took a personal interest in correcting previous flawed submissions by my first attorney, projected future needs so we would be fully prepared and personally picked up the phone and called myself and my wife or had us into his office to discuss the process moving forward. This immigration process was overwhelming to me. By retaining Mr. Streppone, the burden of painfully following this step by step process was 100% taken care of by Mr. Streppone. I fully encourage anyone who is considering the use of an attorney for immigration services to contact Mr. Streppone.

The work seemed very stressful and finding accurate information was not easy. Immigration is confusing (There are a total of 4 forms needed to be submitted) and there are too many moving parts to go about this alone and everything I googled seemed to support that. So I reached out to a few immigration attorneys, Bill Streppone was the closest (based out of Commack, NY) and most reasonably priced. Bill had us come in for a free consolation. It was a relief to finally have someone explain exactly what was going to happen and exactly what we would have to do to have a successful and efficient experience applying. After hiring Bill, we filled out the questionnaire he gave us and gathered all the documents he wanted to submit with our application. In no time he had everything submitted to the government and we were relieved to have started the process. Then on out, Bill told us exactly what step was next and exactly what to be on the look out for. During that time he would answer any questions we may have had and gave great knowledgeable advice. Finally we received our interview date and Bill had us in to prepare. The interview went great and now we're waiting for our approval. Unless you have plenty of time and a strong knowledge of government applications, I would strongly recommend hiring an immigration attorney. The time you risk wasting having your application denied alone is worth the price you'd pay for an attorney. Find an attorney that will be open with you and realistic, like Bill.

I have been a Home Depot loyal customer for over 16 years. Today, I had to visit the Crooked Hill…read moreroad Commack/ Smithtown location for items that were in this store. I have never experienced an assistant store manager so disinterested with customer service. My husband and I purchased 8 pieces of composite decking for our house project. The 12' boards (which we already paid for) did not fit in our suv. We needed someone from lumber to help us cut 2' off. No one from lumber was available. Alan (who was from a different department) was told by someone on the phone that they do not cut composite decking. I asked to speak with a manger hoping for help. Instead I found myself speaking with an assistant manager named Angelo. Who explained that they do not cut the composite decking because it's plastic and the particles fly in your face. His suggestion to me was to cut it with a hand saw in one of the Aisles myself. After I explained how ridiculous that sounded he told me I can rent a truck for $20! Those were his only two suggestions for me. Thankfully, Alan decided to help us and cut the boards. Although, I left satisfied with Alan's initiative to help us. I was not happy with the customer service from Angelo. It should never be ok to lie to customers because of lack of work ethic. Im not sure if he encourages the staff to avoid machine cutting with these kinds of ridiculous excuses or he is just clueless. I don't plan on visiting this location again. It was my one and only negative experience with someone in a supervisor position or with any Home Depot employee.

We scheduled an appointment for that week to have someone come by to measure. Two very nice gentlemen came by. They listened to my ideas and took measurement and photos. I heard nothing for two weeks so I called. I was told I would receive a call back; I didn't; I called again and again was told I would receive a call back. I finally got a call from the designer, Ryan, on a Saturday. Within a minute i was given a $$$ number, without any context. I told Ryan we would like to stop by the following Saturday. He said that would work and he would make the time for us. I emailed him during the week, no response. I called that Saturday morning and was told he was not in that day. I advised the person I spoke with that we wouldn't be available during the week and wouldn't be available for the next few weekends. I finally received a call from Ryan attempting to schedule "during the week and for the next few weekends". As we were busy for those few weeks, I emailed him, yet again, two weeks ago. I wasn't surprised that I received no response. I truly thought the showroom had everything I needed for my kitchen. It's just upsetting that your designer is less than responsible, attentive, and trustworthy.
