The youngest member of our local host family has declared it her favorite toy store in Ann Arbor. Grandparents beware, have a settled upon spending limit before entering. In the past I have purchased baby gifts for others and treats for a toddler. Today the perfect selection was found after a great deal of deliberation and calculations. The store is well stocked with stuffed animals so a baby goat was selected since we had just visited some earlier at White Lotus Farm. And a great beginner reader was also chosen. Our hosts needed some baby gifts for friends, and those they chose, looked great! Selections are beautifully displayed, the staff is friendly and helpful. Quality of everything we saw was excellent.

Located in downtown Plymouth, the buildings look historical. Public parking is available but limited to 2 hours parking. It gave us enough time to park and walk towards the GTC. I find the window display from the outside to be intimidating and made me think that the prices of the items they sell are expensive. Surprised to find out later that they sell toys at a comparable price. most of the employees we saw were female...I find them friendly and knowledgeable of what's new and trendy when it comes to toys for the kids and young at heart. saw a lot of plush bears/puppies, and age appropriate educational toys. what's great about the store is they have a point system for every dollar spent. they may ask you to join and record your phone number so they can contact you if the items you're looking for is already available. looking forward in opening my first box of museum series Smiski!

It made me feel like a standard comic book shop you see on tv - a very sexist promotion of sexualized women. In the poster section, there's a gorgeous Psyloche poster...except for how it tries to center and show off her butt and Venus mound with just a slim piece of fabric. There are other hyper sexualized posters of women in comics...and then real women scantily clad like I'm in a teenage boy's (or drunken frat guy's) room. Next to the posters is a drawn pin-up against 'censorship' with the woman's nipples poking out so hard it could take an eye out. By the new comics, there's more drawn pin-up art. Like...so skeevey and clearly the owner doesn't realize how many women read comics? U G H. The good parts that made it so I won't nuke this review (so tempting tho): - it's locally owned - located in sylvania which doesn't have that much - walls are covered with back issues, art, and many collectible toys. - bins and bins of older comics - good variety of new comics There does seem to be a lot of focus on DC/Marvel, but there are some other publishers located. I'll return again to give it another try; I was there for 20 minutes and still hadn't looked at everything. But if I lived here, I would not be a regular subscriber, because the environment is not friendly to me.

We were lucky enough to attend for a party, and the private rooms for those are large and well-equipped. Kids were able to pop between the play area and the party room during their time in the venue. Bathrooms are kid friendly with kid potty seats. I don't remember any of the two banes of our existence with a little one, namely a sensor flush on the toilet or an air dryer (both noisy things that make public restrooms look less attractive). One of my favorite features was the quiet room. Calm, dark, and with a big comfy kiddo couch and headphones for those who need them, it was a welcome respite from the sometimes boisterous play area that even a parent could appreciate! Several months later, I dropped the fake card off and he texted me to deny that he sold me the card but that he would "honor the $7 store credit offer". Notably, this is not the remedy we agreed upon on the phone. It is unfortunate that after spending a significant amount of money at this store, I have been met with such dishonest behavior. I write this review only to warn shoppers to be careful of what they buy. If hardship may occur, do not depend on Rich to make you whole. You will be disappointed.
