I Knew what she has been looking for but once my mom got to the store on Monday, 8/7/2023, I knew we needed help and in Philadelphia and NJ lush stores the associates are Super pros and Experts. I'm not sure why this store was Different on our visit. Deeply disappointing and frustrating. I had lots of ideas and questions so I asked the 2 young ladies but they completely disregarded me and continued talking even when I said Excuse me and they just ignored me. I Hope they DONT work on commission, or Maybe they just make a salary and Do Not Care about customers or any kinds of Customer Service. My mind honestly was blown away. If I acted like this, I wouldn't have a job. I went further inside the store and stood in line at the register and the bubbly and kind Asian cashier answered my questions about anti aging and about their enchanted Eye cream! Half of my battle was done and so when I asked her to point me towards that area of this Wonderful enchanted Eye Cream, she did not respond with directions. She walked away to her associates who ignored me and then told me she was Off the clock and the girl who previously ignored me attempted to help me. Why was she blowing me off when she just Could have said pointed me in the direction of the cream instead of passing me off to someone who Clearly Did Not want to Help me. I'm so aggravated when I just wanted to buy gifts for someone who I love. I'm amazed that anyone is allowed to Treat customers or any other person like this. We WONT be back. Ever. I hope they can at least are train their workers. They may need a new job where they Do NOT EVER work with People. I can understand if it was a Ghetto-Hood-Rat place, but there are some really nice and high end stores. It's a pity that their associates have no clue how to demonstrate "Customer Service". I also see many great reviews but the 4&5 Star reviews show purchasing online or shopping self serve and not needing any associates Help.

Don't be shy to ask for demos or samples of things to make sure you find the product that is right for you. I appreciate that I never feel pressured by the staff to buy anything and always feel that they are able to answer any questions I may have. I do find the price point a bit high so I end up sticking with companies like Bath and Body Works for my day to day purchases even though I'd prefer the products here. It'd be nice if they had a weekly sale or at least it seems I never pop in when there's a sale. While I don't mind letting my husband steal some of my philosophy products from Sephora I don't want him using up half of one of my face washes in one fell swoop! Portions are small and prices are high - so plan accordingly to what's worth the bang for your buck :-) With names like chocolate cupcake for face masks, you may want to have a bite to eat before popping in or you're tummy will be growling in no time at all! Exceptional customer service & variety!…read more I stopped by Karrie's Kostume & Supplies store on my way home from work tonight to check if they had my toddler's ballet clothing in stock - I was greeted by a professional and friendly young lady who quickly showed me the available options; I decided to come back later with my daughter to try the items in for size. .............................................................. 2 hours later: I returned to the store with my twirling and giggling toddler in tote. We were helped by Anne, who was exceptionally good with my daughter. My four year old has a hard time talking to strangers and will sometimes run away and hide when spoken to. Anne knew just how to charm my toddler and after trying on the approved leotard options for ballet class, my daughter insisted on showing "the nice lady," before making a final selection. My daughter discussed all her favorite Princesses and Halloween costume ideas for the coming year: LaLaLoopsy & Monster High, of course! Anne even asked my daughter if she would like to try on their LaLaLoopsy costume; to which my daughter lost her marbles and a costume show and Photoshoot immediately followed care of Mommy's iPhone. Anne even brought us upstairs (stairs are on the outside of the building) to the Costume floor where we marveled at the amazing Super Hero & Star Wars Costume selection! It was a particularly slow day when I walked into the shop. It was empty, but for me and Jenâs work associate, Cindy. She was friendly and agreed to do my eyebrows at once. The shop is very plain, much like the rest of drive-thru mani-pedi places. They have a couple of pedicure chairs with foot baths and a manicure station, plus a back room for other body waxing services. She just had me sit down on a stool right there in the shop and waxed my brows. She used a Popsicle stick and wax that mustâve been heated a hundred times. Iâm not even sure the Popsicle stick was new. I watched as she reached for the tweezers and the scissors, to trim, and neither had been disinfected. They just want back into a little container afterwards. The cream she put on my eyelids afterwards was greasy, and stung briefly. Afterwards, upon looking in the mirror, I wasnât really impressed with the shaping. I just wanted a clean-up, but she managed to kill the shape that used to be there. I was totally unimpressed with this place. The price was $10, which I think a brow wax should be. But the quality was low, and she should have at least had me lie down on a bed, like most other places do. I will not go back.

The technician was nice enough (although looked as though she had been working hard all day as kept stretching and twisting and grimacing in an effort to get more comfortable) and price was pretty good. What concerned me and ensures I will not go back is the following: While I was there I watched one of their technicians HAND WASH the towels used for services (pedicures - drying legs and feet off, manicures - resting hands and tools on, etc) in one of the FOOT BASINS of the pedicure chairs. For a business that deals with multiple personal hygiene situations (especially feet and natural bacteria and fungus on the skin), I would FULLY expect to see towels sanitized before reuse. There is no way they could have been sanitized in this process as the technician had bare hands and would not have been able to tolerate water hot enough or bleach strong enough to cleanse these towels properly. Thoroughly disappointed and felt slightly itchy afterwards at the thought that my pedicure may have been done with less than sanitary accessories. Don't go there!

So glad I did, and continue to do! Minh and his family are very warm and welcoming and can ALWAYS get me in as a walk-in, which is great. They have TVs to watch, you're always offered a water and a comfy massage chair. Also, whatever produce he has picked up. I've been offered strawberries, mango...I forget what else. Such a sweet man. He does a very thorough job cleaning up my Hobbit feet and waxing the hair off my toes. First time a pedicure place had every done that, and it's AMAZING how much difference it makes! I usually pick my favorite color, #34, a deep crimson red, and the price is incredible for what you get. At least 10 bucks cheaper than the fancier places. I'll keep returning for the great service and pampering.
