This is our second stay here, having been here 2 years ago. The hot tub took 2 weeks to get fixed. Then the pool heater went out. The maintenance man yelled at 20 people gathered around the pool because he got called to check it out. I'm hearing it'll take a couple of weeks to fix. They fired the manager so there's someone at the desk and the maintenance man for employees. The pvc water lines break 1-2 times a week and it requires everyone's water off to repair. I'll look elsewhere next time. read more

Happy with our experience. The pool and hot tub are heated and clean. The bathrooms are spotless. Sites are clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is explained when we checked in. Very quiet at night. Sites are cozy and neighbors were nice. read more

We have been to this awesome RV Resort now for two years it's the best RV resort that we have been to lots of activities fun people they have parties and dances and dinners and crafts and it's right in the heart of the desert towns the staff is friendly the people are friendly and the dog parks are clean and nice we love this place we will always come back read more

This is our fourth season at Meridian RV Resort. The first and part of the second season, it was owned by a private owner who expected the residents to abide by the rules and had numerous events and concerts. Then ELS (Thousand Trails and Encore) bought the park - what a mess. Almost no events now except for those arranged by the residents. No-one enforces rules - dogs relieving themselves on lots, roads and in the vegetation (there are four dog parks), people putting gazebos and dog fences up on their lots (which is prohibited unless you are an annual), music playing in private lots until well after quiet time starts, etc. We even have had residents bitten by dogs and the owners were not asked to leave. Don't even think about calling the emergency number after hours since you probably will not reach anyone. We are currently without a manager since the last one left. Rates go up every year - next season we will be paying almost $1000 per month for a five month stay and they won't do any maintenance on our lots - just let the weeds grow. People that used to be annuals here are leaving in droves for other parks that care more about their residents, and saving $800.00 for the same annual stay. read more

Meridian RV Resort is a great place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The property includes: Swimming, fitness center, library, billiards, poker nights, classes, dancing, big parties with delicious food and live bands! Yet, this resort is nestled next to the mountains just outside of Phoenix and this means it is also a very quiet and calming place to relax. The property is very clean and well kept. Small dogs allowed and so the Meridian really makes their guests feel like it is their true home away from home! read more

Going Downhill, seems the owner does not care about anything besides the mighty dollar He has cut down on a lot of things we use to enjoy , less dances fewer Friday Night entertainment, New Years Eve was a treat froze to death because owner was to cheap to get more heaters for the Patio as this is not like inside a club house it is more like being in a Tent there were 9 heaters for 20 Tables, If not for the Great Meal and the Awesome Band I am sure I would of not even gone. Best thing about this Park are the awesome people , if you are looking for activities it is very limited, I say you get what you pay for if I did not move to Florida I would of moved out of this Park and into someplace not afraid to spend a buck and offers more activities. Tried to get a pickle ball court in a dog park that was used about 2 times a month as it was in a bad location and no one wanted to go there,it is 1 of 3 dog parks there, Owner told me only OLD People played it and that the clientele was to young for that, Funny I started getting people to play at a location outside the park and averaged 10 to 20 players, and now the Park calls it an activity they offer even if they do soothing in running it. If you have a dog, play cards , or golf , then you will find lots of that. So if I was to go back to Arizona I would most likely go to another park like Val Del Oro whet for one they have a Club House , Pickle Ball Courts , Shuffle Board , Happy Hour at the Pool . read more

In 6 years of RVing, this was the worst experience we have yet to have. After making a reservation, paying in full prior to arrival, we asked for two more days...no problem, had to move to another site, but still no problem. We called after hours with the credit card to confirm the last two days, but no one answered. Coming in the next day anyway, felt there would be no problem. Greeted by Cindy, who was rude, not even showing us a map of the park & where we were located, the dog park..anything. I asked her if they had wifi, she refused to answer saying just look in the pamplet she handed me.... She then went on to say she gave away our extra two day reservation because we didn't call back with the credit card # even though we were arriving the next day. She told us she can put us in another spot at the other end of the park...still no problem. Then Cindy tagged my husband down and told us we had to move a day earlier, only to tell us later, the next day, she made a mistake. Turns out, we were parked right next to her and she wanted her friend in the park to move next to her... The dog park with the grass smells like pee and needs way more irrigating...had to wash my dogs after leaving, this had never happened anywhere before. This place is worth a pass if you can find another one. Never will return! Dont be fooled by 5 star reviews that have nothing to say. The residents in the park were very nice... It appears they have staffing problems. The two men required to park our MH put us right on top of the cement patio which scraped our stairs..lucky we moved it over and did not destroy the stairs completely. read more

The pool, location, and laundry are fabulous !! Staff treat you like they are doing you a favor to answer questions and solve problems. When you walk into the office you are always interrupting something very important!! Oh yea they are just ignoring me!! Could be a great place with the right management !!! Never stay there again to many very nice parks in the area. read more
