They didn't say how they got my information, were bothering me with a cold call about selling my house THAT I JUST BOUGHT! "......we just sold a house in your neighborhood in 4 days!" No they didn't. They had a pending offer in 4 days; the house sold 30 days later. Turns out they called a bunch of people in our neighborhood and bothered everyone. Why the heck would I trust someone that spams neighborhoods with unsolicited phone calls.....with one of the most significant life decisions of most people lives. Stop bothering neighbors. In my 45+ years of life I have never had another realtor do this. What a crappy thing to do. (Sure I get crappy cold calls for random people "we buy any house" calls. Those are different.)

Three stars was probably generous…read more Every day that I miss them I feel angry about Kris and Daniela's workers VERY LIKELY having stolen valuable tools and rope. I HATE THIEVES. They're cowards. Besides failing to point out a conspicuous problem with my foundation that I could have fixed myself (review submitted 2015) , Kris brought in a landscaper and a general laborer to help with transferring our stuff to my trailer. Much of that work was done in my absence. I had a worker of my own but anyone would know in short order that he would not take anything that didn't belong to him---more likely to give than take. Now, nine years later, I still cannot find 100 feet of quality, 3/4 inch, soft laid nylon rope. Just about any boat owner will know that that stuff is "not cheap". Also still missing are a new, quality pry bar, etching tool and small torch. I was barely able to close a small drawer of a small tool chest before the move but when I checked it after the moving dust settled it was nearly empty. I could have misplaced a thing or two--or more but am certain I didn't misplace 100 feet of rope---for nine years. These agents weren't the worst I've had. A Windermere agent lied on their flyer and got me in a lot of trouble. The judge reported that the client is responsible for the agent's actions. In my case the agent had skipped town. When Kris helped us with a purchase things went smoothly (with one exception). Next was the duplex sale for which she had a lot of referrals for remodeling and, unlike the landscaper and laborer, those referrals turned out to be well worthwhile. I was enthusiastic about Kris for a few years and referred others to her. I guess all agents have their flaws but can no longer recommend Kris.

It came down to 11 offers and two pre-inspections (not by me) and yet Alice still knew exactly how to put together the most competitive offer to beat the rest out. And even after the initial offer was accepted, she was relentless about working out the details of the final price (and even made sure the previous owners took away all of the furniture they left behind, which technically they were no longer responsible for after signing). We bought our first home in late 2006, right before the sub-prime crisis. Back then we did not really know much about houses. Alice helped us. She is extremely knowledgeable and taught us many things - making the right trade-offs being the most important. We were changing our minds constantly and she was very patient with us. Through-out she never tried to rushed us to make a decision - and we really appreciate that. We ended up getting a townhouse that is closer, versus newer SFH's farther away - this property weathered the market downturn much better. It was a good 7,8 years before we needed to move again as our family grew. We went to Alice right away. Actually many of our close friends worked with her in-between. It never came to us that we needed to consider a different agent. It was 2015. This time the market was red hot (for seller), and it took us six months. With all the online resources the shopping experience became much different. Everyone sees all the houses right when they came to the market, with photos/videos and many other details about the property. We had to be very diligent about seeing the houses immediately, submitting offers the same day, deciding how much more to bid above the asking price, deciding whether to do pre-inspection (there usually wasn't enough time, so Alice's visual inspections played a huge role) or whether to waive inspection, etc. It was completely crazy. Alice was working extremely hard for us - she was responding to emails post mid-night, showing us properties right away, and trying out different bidding strategies. She went far and wide to try to collect any additional info/insights to give us the little bit of advantages. We finally won the 11th bidding war after losing the first 10. Alice this time felt like a friend, a family. We relied on her to look after our best interest.
