Wheel Xpert - Beautifully Converted VW Bettle with Wheels & Tires from Wheel Xpert.

May 30, 2014 I have a nice set of fancy Klasse Bonn Chrome…read morewheels with Michelin Defender tires that I run in the summer only. I purchased them at Kal Tire. I went to three Kal tire locations to get them balanced, they could not do a good job balancing them. I went back 5 times to the location where I bought the tires, but they were never balanced properly. Winter came and I pulled them off the vehicle. Today, I went over to Wheel Pros. The team said they could get me in right away, 45 minutes before the next booking. They immediately pulled my vehicle in and whipped off the winter tires. They rebalanced the 17 inch Klasse Bonn mags and pulled my Toyota around to the front. Geezz, I thought, that was quick, about 30 minutes. They balanced the wheels on a $80,000 computer laser Hunter balance machine. I was almost in total disbelief when I got to an open stretch of road and opened my baby up. Yikes, can this be possible!!! My ride was ball bearing smooth, absolutely no vibration at all. I went as fast as possible, which I won't say in writing, but the ride was so, so extremely smooth, I was blown away!! Thumbs up to Wheel Pro's, thumbs down to Kal tire. Kal Tire wasted so much of my time running around trying to get these wheels balanced. Kal Tire does have good customer service, they tried to please me but they just could not get the job done. I would recommend Wheel Pros to anyone. They charged a super fair price for the balance job too.

So many mistakes were made. Matthew was helpful initially trying to find tires/spacers that would…read morefit. When test-fitting the rear tires, the tech used a front tire (instead of back tire - different size) and said I needed 1/4 spacers. So I ordered 1/4 inch spacers despite thinking I needed bigger ones. When they went to mount the wheels, they said - 'Oh no, you need 1 inch spacers - 'we fit the front wheel on the back instead of the front'. So I then ordered 1 inch spacers at my cost. When they finally fit the wheels, all was good (but it was not). When I got two people in the car or enough weight, the back tires would rub in the wheel wells. I thought it might be a suspension issue as the tires were fit properly. They weren't. I scheduled the car into a different garage to address the suspension issue. It was not a suspension issue - turns out, WheelXpert fitted BOTH spacers to the rear wheels which spaced the tires too far out which made the wheels rub the outside of the wheel wells. Not only did they get me to order the wrong spacers in the first place - they fitted BOTH spacers (1/4inch + 1inch) to the back wheels to create a rubbing issue on the back end!!!! WTF. I'm not a tire guy and even I am smart enough not to do this!! Will never go back......

I was sad when the 'check engine' light in my car went on, but a little happier when my boyfriend told me Auto Value had a device that will tell you what is wrong with it. I guess you just plug it in to your car somewhere and it gives you a code which tells you the reason the light is on. Well, I stopped by this Auto Value on my way to work the other to ask if they could help me out. Not only was I ignored at first, but I would swear that I was almost invisible to them. When I finally was welcomed to the counter I told them what I was there for. I was told that I would have to wait while the guy answered a couple of phone calls. He took someone off hold and started talking about something about his house. This means, he told me I would have to wait while he made a personal call. Not cool. Then, when he finally got off the phone he asked me if I knew where the plug-in was and seemed pissed when I didn't. He had to look it up. After finally finding the spot, he came out to my car with me and tried to plug it in. He tried only two or three times to get the device plugged in and then gave up, telling me it wouldn't work. Not only was he not helpful, but he was flat out rude to me! I realize that I was asking for something for free, but isn't that their job? Aren't they supposed to help people fix and upgrade their cars? I guess not at this location.

I have been building a turbo charged motor for an old motorcycle that was not originally turbo charged. I have needed all sorts of fittings, braided lines, an oil separator, boost and oil pressure gauges and housings and mounts, turbo plumbing, etc., etc., as I have been figuring out my totally custom build. The counter staff at Mopac have been absolutely excellent in my dealings with them. They have also been excellent in relation to performance parts for my various cars. Highly recommended! I do not usually post reviews, I had to post this review in response to the completely unwarranted 2 star review from the poster trying to figure out what a dial gauge is and how to mount and use one.......

On our way to Edmonton, AB I stopped at this store to see if I can rent an OBD2 scanner because my older model OBD2 scanner was outdated and was not working when connected to my vans ECM. I was greeted by a few young gentlemen over the counter and felt welcome to be in their store. I'm surprised that the folks here doesn't act like a KNOW IT ALL MASTER TECH. Anyway, the young man who help me out suggested some OBD2 scanners which are out of my budget of $60 for a simple trouble code retrieval and deletion. Well, instead of him pushing for a sale he explained to me in great details of each device and why it cost more. He also suggested a competition store across the street and stated if they don't have a cheaper device that I am always welcome to comeback to his store. Well, the other store has a cheaper version $54 and I ended up buying it and I erased the trouble code right on the spot. Thanks to the good guys at partsource, you guys are awesome!!! I apologized, I always forget names of good people...

New update June 19. I went into store to confront a call…read morethat I received from Masood's personal phone number. I wasn't 100% sure but when I went into the store I put an order for paint and called the phone number that was trying to harass me at my place of business a week prior (I recognized the voice but wanted to get any doubts out of the way). So I called the number when Masood was in front of me twice and he reached for the phone after trying to get my order. This of course validated my suspicions about his intentions, he was trying to extort and harass due to the review that he saw in Google for something that he was 100% in the wrong. After this he got very aggressive and threatening and essentially said "get out of my store if I see you here again I will kick your ass". I am now following up with a formal complain through a few parties as this guy clearly showed what his intentions were. Beware of this business, bad business practice, aggressive employee and not only will he not admit wrongdoing he will go after you yo harass you. Previous review: I had to change my recent review to just one star. I've been going to this place for a long time now and have bought 36 spray cans by my count at $25 a can, you can guess I've spent some money in there and that's not including other supplies. I go to this place because their cans are good quality, the tips don't drip and overall they spray well. The problem at this place is the customer service and the overall service one receives as a customer. The staff is knowledgeable but they think they levitate and don't walk. They make themselves out to be super busy and have no time when there are no customers around. They are also rude at times and it seems like every day is a different experience. It's as if their mood is whatever they bring that day. I was there yesterday first one in the store before anyone else shows and spoke to Masood about getting a color matched spray can and that I needed other supplies and tells me that he'll help me in a couple of minutes for the supplies. He goes out for a smoke and starts attending to other people on the lot (ok I understand they have customers that have body shops and are there all the time) comes back and is too busy to attend to me. 45 minutes later, I ask where my paint is since many have come and gone before me with their color matched paint and he comes back with a small can not a spray can. 45 minutes to get the wrong order and to not have attended to my other supply needs. With this kind of customer service I am surprised they still have a business during the pandemic. At the end the color match was wrong and I had to come back for them to redo it another day.
