He's worked with everyone in the music industry (not naming names, but everyone), so whether you need a studio, a full house, a spa--he's your guy. But the reason I'm writing this review isn't just about his stellar work. After many years of being lucky enough to call Mike my electrician, today I got to call him a superhero. Now look, please don't expect this kind of thing if you're a new client--but today I had a total catastrophe (non-electric--think delivery truck chaos threatening to take out trees and possibly my house), and Mike, seeing me majorly panicking, stepped in and saved the day. No hesitation. He's a problem-solver extraordinaire (and really strong!!). He's also just a really proud dad and husband, and that energy shows in everything he does. I don't mean to sound cheesy, but you want this human on your team. If you're lucky enough to book him, you won't regret it. And for the practically minded--he's fair, efficient, and has a solid and reliable crew. Excellent work- the real deal. Thanks for saving me today, Mike!

I rarely write negative reviews, but after months of trying to resolve these issues directly with…read moreJSP Home Services, I believe prospective customers should know about my experience. Beginning in 2018, I paid more than $13,000 for a mini-split system designed to accommodate three indoor units. I recently learned from another HVAC company that the condenser JSP installed is undersized for the system and, more importantly, is not the condenser that was specified in the estimate and documentation and that I paid for. I have the original paperwork and receipts confirming the discrepancy. I have also been advised that the system has been overtaxed, potentially affecting its performance and longevity. For months, I have requested copies of my invoices, work orders, warranties, and extended warranty documentation so my current HVAC provider can make necessary repairs. Emails, calls, and written correspondence have largely gone unanswered from the local home office and parent company. I ultimately stopped using JSP after a family member's credit card, provided for a one-time service call, was subsequently charged for a service plan without authorization, and JSP declined to reverse the charges. (Appointments were frequently cancelled and rescheduled without regard for my time which was another frustration.) After months of unsuccessful attempts to resolve these matters directly, I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the New York State Attorney General's Office. I have documentation supporting the concerns outlined above and believe JSP should explain why the equipment installed differs from what I was quoted and paid for. This is especially disappointing because when John Parker owned and operated JSP, I was a strong supporter and referred numerous customers. My advice: get multiple estimates, keep your documentation, verify that the equipment installed matches what you paid for, and read both the positive and negative reviews carefully.
