This review is based on a one-time visit on 1/4/2025. After hearing a neighbor talk about how much she enjoyed furnishing her home (modern) from Mercato, I had to check it out. Mercato has two huge showrooms, with incredibly kind and helpful staff. There is just SO MUCH to see everywhere you look. Beautiful sofas, really interesting chaise lounges, stunning sculptures, the list goes on and on. We got so much inspiration for what we were looking for - lighting fixtures and outdoor furniture - and ended up leaving with a cool sculpture we weren't thinking about getting but just had to get. We took a bunch of photos and have some measurements to take, and are looking forward to another visit once we have a better idea of what we want to get. read more

We were looking for a high-end sofa to replace our existing one. An internet search turned up Mercato Interiors. On arrival, Prism greeted us and asked what we were looking for. She then took us around their very large showroom which covers two separate adjacent buildings, having us sit in and comment on various related pieces. Prism was very attentive and most helpful in assisting us find what we wanted. Once we narrowed it down to a specific manufacturer and model, Prism informed us that it was custom built in Italy and would take 6 to 9 months (allowing the summer European vacation of the factory). She also indicated that while they deliver the furniture to us, they would not take our existing sectional away. As we got further into the details of what we thought we wanted, Prism offered that they (Prism, Savannah and Liz, their interior decorator/design team) would come out to our home to both measure and discuss the placement and options. This would cost $750 but would be applied to our purchase if we continued. We agreed and an appointment was set. The team arrived at our home and took measurements as well as discussed suggested colors and options. This was followed by Prism drawing up plans to scale for our review. We returned to the store to go over the plans, refined our leather choice, and then added custom chairs to the order to complement the couch. Prism sent over revised plans with the couch and chairs to scale, and based on that we decided to with a slightly smaller (original) version of the couch. We returned to the store for the third time, now to finalize all the details and costs, and pay. When Prism presented the final costs there was an additional charge of more than $1000 to deliver the furniture to us. This charge had never been mentioned until that point- even though we had the discussion about whether they would be removing our sectional when they delivered the new furniture. We found this additional charge out of place considering the total cost of the couch and two chairs and that they would not be removing our existing furniture, but Prism said that was their policy. I offered to split the delivery charge with them, but that offer was rejected. So, we left. I find it very short-sighted that Mercato management was willing to lose us as customers on a good-sized purchase ($25k) over not being willing to split delivery cost and absorb $500. read more

I was looking for a consignment store and this place was listed as one. Turns out a long long time ago, they were one and it still pulls up as one. At first I was upset, but that didn't last long, this place is STUNNING. Not for the weak of pocket, but great for those who have a high sense of style and appreciate unique pieces that can be artwork on their own. I wish I had found this place before we furnished our primary home. Even if you are not looking for a piece of furniture, their accessories here are beautiful and unusual. Their furniture is pricey, but very unique, functional and sturdy. Prices and quality seems about the same as Restoration Hardware, with Mercato Jnteriors carrying more modern pieces. This is a high end furniture store. The quality looks pretty good and cost is pretty pricey. My partner and I visited this store but didn't buy anything because of the price. My wife and I have been a regular customers for the past 3 years now and have bought over $15k worth of furniture. We were helped by Simon and Beverly. Both were very helpful and courteous. So why the 1 star? This year we decided to buy a piece of art and kindly requested a discount because we were repeat customers. Since Simon and Beverly couldn't help us, we had a different salesperson. This salesperson was very reluctant to ask the Owners, Liz and Robert even for a small discount. She was actually scared they would yell at her. I couldn't believe it, so I asked for one of the Owners and Robert came out to give us the story on their post covid business plan. His wife Liz also came into the showroom and gave my wife and I the coldest and nastiest look. All I asked for was a small discount because we are repeat customers. They wouldn't even give us a $1 off. Well I checked it online and the markup they had on this artwork was $500. These two business owners are the most arrogant and greedy individuals I have ever met. They just lost a loyal customer for life!!!! read more

The selection of this store is amazing, a business built from nothing, kudos to the owners! Have bought from here in the far past and this time went in to stock my office, went in twice and had two amazingly awesome members of their team help find our perfect set. Well we hoped it was anyway, see, you never really know for sure do you? Until it's in your office. So we asked if we could pay for them, have them delivered but if we didn't like them, pay to have them returned and have an in store credit to choose something else. It's a basic return policy every furniture store has. Many even just give you your money back, no questions asked. But they told us NO. We were surprised considering we told them we would pay for return shipping and still spend our thousands and thousands at their store. This is not a low price furniture store. So the three stars is for their selection and team members(awesome people!) The missing two stars is bc of their inability to let us return the furniture and sort of their high pricing. Boo. Oh and since they think giving out competitors names means we are fake(read first review), they are wrong! So we went to a nice furniture store on rainbow, still paid a bit but they had a return policy exactly like the one we were asking for. I purchased a Lazar sectional from Furniture Market in late 2014. I tried to find a quality piece and thought I should look outside of Ashley, RC Willey, Walker Furniture. Great selection. Nice staff. I've recommended them to friends and colleagues in the past. I can no longer offer that recommendation with confidence. The sectional broke (the frame broke) causing sagging of the cushions , two "techs" (just delivery men) "inspected" it, and attributed it to jumping. Except my kid hasn't started jumping on furniture yet (he's 1) and we haven't done that for like 30 years (and those old school couches could actually tolerate it.). Anyway, they (Furniture Market/Lazar) wouldn't honor this defect under their warranty, and I warn those who think that paying a little more for "quality" will be sorely disappointed. Now I'm paying out of pocket for repairs on a relatively "new" sectional to repair its frame to salvage it! So I'm doing what I can to warn others of what I believe is poor construction and poor customer service of the Lazar line and Furniture Market. We were looking for decorating ideas so a place that had accessories and lighting. 2. When we first arrived on Sunday, we were a litle concerned because there was only one car there besides ours. First thought was this was going to be like one of those "warehouse" type of furniture places. 3. We were promptly met by Eric, the sales manager with a very low key and very easy going introduction. 4. Immediately, we felt the place was very well designed, had beautiful items well placed and had tons of areas for everything you could imagine for a home. 5. For the bedroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, family rooms and the outdoors, you can find many styles to meet your needs. From contemporary, eclectic and to the traditional, you can find many styles here to suit your needs. This place is a bit expensive, but at the same time, they have some very quality pieces here! This store is very overpriced. I bought what I thought was a metal sculpture for $849.00 and picked it up a few days later. The texture and feel looked didn't feel right - it was very light in weight and cheap looking because it was plastic and didn't go with the other decor as I originally thought. I called the very next day and when no return call, phoned again in order to obtain an exchange because I have many more pieces to buy. The receipt says NO REFUNDS- and exchanges at the discretion of seller. I get it but not to simply exchange the item - ridiculous! I walked into the store today with my friend Amber and we were greeted by the great Amir. We had just walked in and wanted to look at the furniture and thought we'd be greeted and instead he came up and asked my friend what she was doing here at the store she said she just bought a home and was looking to furnish her home.. he then asks where's the house was and asks if we wanted to look or order something. My friend said she wanted to buy in about 2 months. He said if you wanted something you should've bought It 4 months ago. Because everything here is taking 6 months. You can really go crazy with the many beautiful and unique pieces they have available. Add in amazing service by Freddy and you've got customers for life! So far, we've purchased some accent pieces, a rug, and an additional custom rug that should be coming in this week. (So excited!) With each purchase, Freddy was very attentive (and patient) with us as we looked through samples to find the exact look to fit our new home here in Vegas. He greeted us right away during our first visit and made us feel at home and comfortable during what could have been an overwhelming first visit. After contacting Liz and letting her know the sofas that she picked for my house are too big for the area, she did nothing to try to resolve the problem. She actually told me to go sell the 2 sofas at a consignment center. I paid over 4000 dollars for each sofa. To sell It at a consignment that means I'm going to take a major lose because of her poor measurements of my room. She told me to go back to her store after I sell them to order new sofas from her that she would give me a good price. I would not go back to this store and spend another dollar. Spent over $4,000 on a dining room set, noticed about a week after we received the set, which we still never used that 2 chairs had stains on them. They wanted to charge $99.00 to deliver 2 new chairs, or I had to go pick them up! What kind of customer service is that? I see why the small businesses are becoming extinct. OMG!!!! My husband and I like modern furniture. Every place we went to had the same traditional furniture that mostly was made out of particle board. We wanted quality furniture that we would keep for a very long time. When I walked into the Furniture Market I thought I had died and gone to heaven. The furniture is well made and the style that we like. Robert and Liz are the owners. They are fantastic! Robert is creative and very passionate about helping you create a living space that you like. Liz had a good head on her shoulders and helps the creative process become a reality. They both listened to what are needs were and allowed us to take our time so that we felt good about the direction were going. So far we have bought furniture for the office and our son's room. The movers delivered the furniture and put it all together. They were so kind with our 3 yr old son who wanted to know about every piece being put the together and the tools that they were using. I would give two different star ratings for this store. For the furniture selection and display I would give a four 1/2 stars but for customer service 1 star. We purchased a table and 6 chairs that we had to order from the factory. When we would call for updates, the calls weren't returned or we were told it might be shipped the "this" date but not sure. When the chairs finally arrived, two had flaws in the fabric. We talked with them, sent them photos but never heard back from them, if they got the photos, what action would be taken, etc. After stopping in the store again, we were told two more chairs would be ordered but no idea when they would arrive. Finally after stopping in again they said they would exchange the chairs on the floor for ours with the flaws. Good customer service would have been, "oh I'm sorry the chairs we sent you were flawed, let us come pick those up and give you some that are good." Instead we made two trips because we could only take one chair at a time in our car. It's too bad because we like the selection and furniture in this store but very poor customer service will keep us from returning. read more
