The greater Puget Sound region is blessed with grocery store chains that are Asian centric such as:…read moreUwajimaya, Asian Family Market, 99 Ranch, H Mart, Seafood City, Hong Kong Market, Island Pacific, Lam's, etc. in addition to all the smaller indies, mom & pop grocers. Places like Town & Country and Saar's also have extensive Asian aisles and shelves dedicated to Asian grocery items. I'm late to the party celebrating the Canadian chain T&T Supermarket. Yes, the behemoth opened in Bellevue back on 12/5/24 and this smaller one took over the former Sprouts in Lynnwood on 11/13/25. Since then, they have opened two more sites in California too. Armed with gift cards from The College Friend, The Homie and I made a spontaneous first visit to the Lynnwood store (9/30/26). I like that it is so well organized, bright, and clean. I really liked the variety of the produce, items for dim sum and hot pot, sauces & spices, snacks, meat & fish areas, cooking gear, and especially the hot food, ready to go entrees/platters, and bakery sections. We visited on a weekday mid afternoon, so parking, shopping, and checkout was easy peasy. There's even onsite seating to enjoy one's paid purchases. We demolished the pork belly and BBQ steamed buns. Interesting to note, there's chopsticks, compostable forks & spoons, straws, but no napkins or paper towels available. Pro tips: download the US based app for more deals, organize your items so checkout is straightforward, bring your own bags (although one can purchase or obtain via accrued points, their branded bags).

After a few bites of food, I tossed the rest because it was so unpleasant. Orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, ribs, what could go wrong? I don't know how it goes wrong, but the food is always gristly, dry and bland. The prices do not match the flavour. Prices are high, flavour is low. In addition, I have never had a staff person say hello or thank you, rarely even an acknowledgement that I am there. During my last visit I asked a gentleman if he knew if they had a particular item and he said "what we have in the store". Oh ok, thanks.

They don't bake any in house, but the have a small section of various Lebanese pitas, some Persian barbari, even lavash and taftoon, all from local bakeries. The best part is the Iraqi breads at the front - when I visited on Monday morning, they had freshly bake Iraqi Khubz, 5 for $7.99. I asked the cashier and the baker is actually a local woman who was in the store at the time! They also have samoon on Fridays. I'll certainly be visiting again - this is the closest to Seattle I've found for a place that sells both types of common Iraqi breads.

There are pleeeennnty of desserts to choose from. All looked delicious! We did not get a chance to try their dessert though. Next time forsure! A few downsides to this place. You order food and checkout the groceries all in one spot with the same person who takes phone orders, checks out grocery customers, and takes your food order. All that to say, expect to wait a long time to order and to get your food order, depending on how busy they are. Their service, well rather how long you wait to order and get your food, is really the biggest downside. Since we came 2 hours before closing, they were out of the shawarma which we really wanted to try. We ordered fries and Ali's special, and waiting 50 minutes to get our order. The cashier was really nice and apologetic about it but wow 50 minutes is a long time to wait for food. However, the food did not disappoint! We'll be back to try the shawarma another time but I hope service gets better.

Radishes, greens, bokchoy, mushrooms, all the good stuff may be had here at reasonable prices (and some freshly picked). I like that the store isn't a massive scale chain like H Mart. Whatever you need for your Asian kitchen needs including all the varieties of soy sauces, vinegars, oils may be had here. The fish selection is impressive. A good variety of frozen dumplings. Good rice brands. Lots and lots of Korean teas (jujube/barley/ rice etc.) Fresh prepared food: a full kitchen at the rear of the store offers prepared meals and Korean catering. They offer freshly rolled kim bap (vegetarian friendly versions included). Tasty freshly rolled kim bap is a big draw! I recently picked up a tub of fermented soybean paste stew (Doenjang jiggae). I dressed it up at home with additional shrimp and sauteed peppers, seaweed, and steamed rice -- delicious! I find shopping here very pleasant and I love to patronize a smaller grocery store tucked away in one of Edmonds' Asian enclaves!
