I would come here specifically for those type of items - that's the highlight of this grocery store. Cons: Those 6 parking spots in the front are coveted AF (to quote Dylan from the TV show Severance). I've almost seen a few fights breaks out over those spots, and in my opinion it's not worth it because people don't know how to reverse out of the spot and will end up scraping the side of your car. No trip to Raspberry Farm is complete without honking at someone or getting honked at - it's part of the experience. Also, as other reviewers have said, many of the items on the shelves are expired. Strong representation from Greece in the form of cheeses, oils, grains, olives, and specialty items. Turkish, Moroccan and Spanish/Latin American groceries show up when available. High-quality imported Italian pasta, tomatoes, snacks, crackers, sweets. Entire wall of nuts and dried fruits, good section of hard to find flours like chickpea and potato. Now and then a random item shows up on sale, offering a chance to sample a new olive oil or balsamic vinegar. Very good job bringing seasonal imports in around the holidays - pandoro, panettone, torrone. Caveats are: freshness of produce is hit or miss, and ALWAYS check the expiration dates as sometimes older stuff stays in stock.

Great deal compared to parking at other lots that can cost $12-$16. Definitely, the aisles were well maintained here. We shopped for papaya and staff was picking up the wrappers and sweeping the floor. Lots of sales when it comes to shopping for vegetables. Fruits are fresh and well packaged. Busy shopping here and lines get long at the cash register however staff is very efficient and moves quickly. Will be back again.

Entering the store makes me feel as though I'm in a farmer's market. A wide variety of greens, fruits and veggies engulfs shoppers. About a third of their produce department is dedicated to organics. I typically visit the Beachurst/Whitestone store when I'm in town. Plenty of parking in the plaza along with several other stores that I patronize. I had items with me that I had purchased from H Mart and placed neatly inside my personal tote bag. Luckily, I still had the receipts to show that I had purchased them elsewhere. I even purposely left the items I had purchased from 99 Ranch Market outside, along with the receipt, to avoid any misunderstanding. Despite that, the security guard still insisted on searching my personal tote. I didn't want to make a scene, so I simply opened the bag and showed him briefly. This made my shopping experience very uncomfortable and frustrating. I have no time to deal with this kind of unnecessary confrontation while shopping. If this is the store's policy, please post the policy clearly at the entrance so customers know before entering. Otherwise, please train your security staff to treat customers with more respect and professionalism. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because the experience was disappointing and unnecessary.

The seafood department is particularly impressive and worth the trip. Large live tanks are filled with fresh green crabs, lobsters, clams, oysters, shrimp, and a wide variety of whole fishes. For seafood lovers, this section alone is worth the visit. Downstairs, you can find their food court with multiple vendors offering Chinese comfort food, noodles, dumplings, bubble tea, roasted meats, and freshly prepared dishes at very reasonable prices. Complaint Regarding Extremely Unprofessional and Threatening Behavior…read moreStore: New Age Market I had an extremely upsetting and unacceptable experience at the meat department of this store, and I feel it is necessary to report it. I initially asked for approximately 5 pounds of pork. The first staff member refused to sell by weight and insisted that I must order by "number of pieces." I explained that as a customer, I do not know the exact weight of each piece and that other supermarkets normally sell by pounds. He responded impatiently and arbitrarily gave me two pieces. Then I asked for about 5 pounds of pork chops. The same staff member again refused and demanded that I specify the number of slices. When I questioned this unreasonable requirement, his attitude became confrontational. A second staff member joined and, instead of helping, supported the first employee and argued with me. He even asked, "Are you buying or not?" When I said I would file a complaint, he told me, "Then don't buy." This is completely unacceptable customer service. A third staff member initially agreed to help weigh 5 pounds for me. However, when I mentioned that I would report the previous employees, he refused to serve me as well, saying that if I complained, he would not help me either. This clearly shows unprofessional and retaliatory behavior. I then went to the front desk to ask for a manager. The staff member there was unhelpful at first and said she was busy. After I waited, she told me she would try to find a manager, but later informed me that no manager was available and could not tell me when one would be present. I waited for a long time, but no one took responsibility. Eventually, the front desk staff member said she would help me get the meat weighed, and I went back to the meat department with her. At that point, the third staff member finally weighed approximately 5 pounds of pork chops for me. However, when I attempted to take photos to document this incident, the third staff member suddenly became aggressive. He lifted the bag of pork chops and raised it directly toward my head in a striking motion, as if attempting to hit me, while demanding to know why I was taking photos. This behavior was clearly threatening and made me feel unsafe. After receiving the pork chops, I immediately left the counter to avoid further confrontation. Key Issues: * Refusal to accommodate reasonable purchasing requests (by weight) * Rude, confrontational, and dismissive behavior from multiple employees * Staff refusing service after I mentioned filing a complaint * Lack of management presence or accountability * Threatening and aggressive behavior by the third employee This experience was extremely distressing. I expect this issue to be taken seriously, and I strongly urge management to investigate this incident, address staff conduct, and ensure that no customer is subjected to such treatment or intimidation in the future.

I got the ($14) Pandan jelly with Mango & Durian (sago pearls & coconut milk). I ordered it to go thinking the dish would be too big to finish, but it's actually very light and refreshing, and not heavy at all. There were diners there sharing one large shaved ice and I assumed most of the dessert soups would be just as big. But usually Chinese desserts are not overly rich or heavy. The staff said that they could switch out the Durian for extra mango, but they were nice enough to pack a little bit of Durian on the side for me to dry - and no! The whole dessert doesn't smell like durian. Everything was packed extremely well - the liquid was in its own little dispensing pouch. Very nice attention to detail. Pandan is an herby vanilla flavor from Southeast Asian. I think The noodles were made out of rice flour? It was like a soft creamy pudding thick noodle. You can easily scoop into them alongside the mango, coconut milk, sago pearls. Every part of the dessert was very fresh and not too sweet! Had to control the late night snack, and save the rest for the next day. Don't think this kept well, there was a lot of liquid that seeped out of the tapioca pearls or noodles (delicious pandan flavor still!)? But it still wasn't too stiff the next day. Excited to try as other items like the ginger, milk, pudding, but I think I made an excellent choice with this dish, and the price point seemed high at first, but each ingredient to be made fresh on the same day. I'll be back! Curious about the hot café foods too.

Flavor profiles were hitting in all directions I didn't know which one to pick as my favorite! Durian mango coconut pudding - Durian wasn't overpowering at all and the mango shined in this dessert. The mango was nice and sweet, yet tart, soft and not at all unripe. The durian bits were creamy and custard-y, while the coconut pudding served as the perfect base for the dessert. Light and smooth Taro with mochi dessert- This was a taro sweet soup and had the consistency as black sesame soup. The taro was potent and the aroma was very prominent. The mochi was nice and soft, yet chewy. I was not expecting to like this one as much as I did. Ginger pudding - Utterly delicious. The ginger flavor and taste was insanely strong and the pudding was jiggly soft. Not too sweet and almost tasted spicy in a sense from the ginger. Super solid pudding. I'd come back just to get this again honestly.
