With two major moves, I hadn't found a stylist I was willing to trust, but the Yelp reviews made me willing to take a chance. I'm so glad I did! Adrienne was very patient and helpful. I'm pretty low maintenance and don't spend a lot of time styling my hair. She took that into consideration and made sure my cut works well without a dryer and lots of styling. Found Adrienne on Yelp & decided to try her for cut. It's been awhile since I received a cut I like, I tried a couple stylists after my last favorite gal moved to Vegas...sigh. So glad I scheduled with her! I like precision cuts with minimal daily styling for my long hair. I suggest some face frame layers starting mid cheek level & Adrienne advised she's be happy to do that but starting higher like what I described would require a bit more work than what I would commit to daily. She suggested starting more jaw level for the layers & I'm so happy we did that The salon is located inside Mosaic & is easy to locate. I have been to see Adrienne three times I believe, and was asked - at the last minute - to reschedule two of those times. The first time I was promised a free treatment that was never given. The second (and last) time this happened was around the holidays for an appointment I had booked probably a month in advance. She told me she'd fit me in the following week instead, but then did not respond to my messages attempting to find another time. After being nothing but nice, always tipping well, and giving her the benefit of the doubt for quite a while, I was left scrambling to find a new stylist at a really busy time of year. I booked a consult and was highly pleased with Adrienne's knowledge and confidence that we can get me back to blonde again. So far, I have been to her 4 times and she does a beautiful cut and color. I really wanted this to become my place, and Adrienne to become my new person, after reading all the online reviews and her profile. I texted her on April 7, and she scheduled me for April 10th. That morning she texted that she woke up sick and needed to cancel, so we reschedule to the soonest next opportunity, the following Sunday, April 17th. No problem, life happens. Then on the 17th she texted me a couple hours before the appointment that because she needed to reschedule everyone for the upcoming Saturday 23rd, she would be bumping me. This made no sense (why not just reschedule them, why me?), but I still tried to work with her, by being flexible that afternoon. She then confirmed my 12:30pm appointment anyway. Then 30 min before my appointment she texted cancelation again. I showed up hoping to talk in person to sort it out. She was fooling someone else. She said she couldn't see me. But then she said she'd see me yesterday at 5:30pm. So, I hoped, 3rd time is a charm. Well, yesterday I got a text at 1:30pm that she couldn't see me again, and another suggestion for this upcoming Sunday, which I told her multiple times I can not do. I finally gave up and scheduled elsewhere for tonight. I did not need all the stress of sorting out childcare only to be rescheduled 3 times over nearly 3 weeks. So I have no idea how her haircuts are, I never got to find out. But I can't imagine going through this every time I need a haircut! read more

The owner is a flake. She cancelled on my twice last minute after I had scheduled the appointment 4 weeks in advance. I had an interview/networking conversation scheduled following my first booked session and had to cancel since I didn't want to go with my gray roots showing. I had previously had arranged to find time to go during a busy work day @3:30 because I heard that Adriene was good and there was no other time available. Once she cancelled the first time, we rescheduled for the next day and she canceled an hour in advance to my 5PM appointment. I had again re-worked my work and gym schedule to have the re-booked appointment fit in. She then asked if I could make it on Sunday - no I'm not sitting around and rescheduling guess what I don't have time for this level of inconsideration. Super disappointed and find this highly unprofessional. I ended up not trying to reschedule because 1) who knew if she would show and 2) how can you trust someone with color who is so flaky. Too bad Adriene you missed out on a potentially very loyal well paying monthly customer. read more

I visited Adrienne's salon 3 times and left each time without getting my hair done. The first time she didn't have enough time to see me. She hadn't been able to reach me so, okay, we rescheduled. But she failed to mark the second appointment on her calendar so when I showed up, once again she couldn't see me. Then she agreed to an early appointment for the next day and promised she would put it on her calendar immediately. She never showed. Go see William at "Blow" instead.
