I have been very skeptical in writing this review . I came here in the hopes that I would be finding a salon and hairdresser that would be my long term stylist . Unfortunately as much as I wanted hope to not write this review , I would never want someone to experience what I had gone through . My hair was always the one thing I would always get compliments on . I rarely ever ever dyed my hair , i went in for my first time with my beautiful long thick healthy hair the first time . It was a cut and some light low lights in my hair. I loved it . The second time I had gone for hair cut and touch up after 6 months , that was a complete different experience , it was super busy totally over booked . My hair was over processed bleach was left in there for wayyyy to long . I was In that salon from 6am to 130 pm it was miserable waiting but I thought it would be worth the wait . My hair After the recent weeks following became so brittle and dry you could not even comb through . My hair looked like a dried up Barbie doll hair . My hair just completely broke off . My hair has become anyone's worst nightmare . When I messaged Lydia she told me to come in for a treatment but it would be out of pocket cost for me . I was completely in shock and declined . I spent 420 on my hair and then would have to go back for another 100 was just not something I agreed with . I kindly declined . I just want my old hair back . My hair broke off completely this process of repairing my hair on my own has been misery . I literally have no hair just strands of it on my scalp literally . I waited to write this review 6 months later because I wanted to have hope that I can fix this issue and just let this be a learning experience. But it has been a nightmare . My hair will NEVER recover the same ever again . Very sad . read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Lydia is the worst hair dresser I have ever been to. I went to her because I seen her Instagram page and all her pictures look professional and I like her "work". I went to see her back in June I had silver hair and needed a retouch but my hair lady was busy and I wanted to try someone new so I went to lydia. She said it would take her 3 appointments to get it done which I thought was weird because my hair lady usually does it in one sitting so I refused and went to my original hair lady. Fast forward to November 13, I went in to get my hair darker I wanted a change and like I mentioned before her Instagram page makes people believe she knows what she is doing but boy was I wrong. She completely ignored me when I showed her what I wanted she looked at the picture and said 'ok" she suggested we skip the highlights in front so I said fine. Thinking she's the expert she knows what she is doing. When she finished my hair I told her I didn't like it. It's not what I wanted she tried to convince me that was what I had asked for but I had the picture in front of me She said to go back on friday because she didn't want to rush me (she was making plans the whole time, apparently her personal life is more important than her clients satisfaction.) I texted her that night saying I was available the next day and she said " Actually, Today I didn't charge because I don't think we are a good match and you should look for someone that could do you hair. Thank you for understanding" I don't care if were a match or not this isn't tinder I needed her to fix my hair. I told her I have an event this weekend and she didn't care now I have horrible hair and can't find someone to fix her mess and the person's who have given me estimates charge me so much to fix the ugly mess she did to my beautiful blonde hair. I will post pictures of my hair before and what I wanted and what I got. I would never recommend her to any one. I made a Facebook post and more than 10 girls came forward saying she did the same to them but worse because she did charge them. Horrible experience and horrible customer service. read more

Horrible! Don't waste your time with this salon. I made an appointment and when I showed up the doors were locked and she wouldn't answer her phone. I waited 30mins outside. She never responded. I drove 30 mins to get to the location. She has no respect for anyone's time. Extremely unprofessional and rude! read more

This place is just ridiculous. Lydia not only ruined my hair color but refused to fix it as well. She was SO RUDE and uncooperative. I have never been treated like this. I walked out almost crying from sadness(About my hair) and the way I was treated. I had gone there to just get a touch up on my roots and somehow she and her assistants made a mistake and completely dyed my hair DARK! Literally the color of my natural hair color(dark brown). After spending $350 earlier WITH HER to get my hair light, all of it was gone. Ended up not going back and found the most amazing hair stylist who actually listens to me somewhere else. read more

THIS PLACE IS WAY OVER PRICED! She charged me $305 for a balayage & hair cut! She literally CHOPPED my hair! Theres short pieces of hair and some long, it doesn't even look layered. Lyassistants literally pull ur hair when they brush it, they don't know how to wash hair, and when they wash ur hair they do it rough! Like wtf! And it seems like Lydia only knows how to do ashy tones, I asked for a blonde caramel tone and she did not do it how I wanted it! The color looked ashy green. I would never go back to the salon to get charged hundreds for shitty job. Smh read more

My hair color turn out horrible, totally opposite of what I wanted, I try Lydia for the first time and I regret spending so much money for the work she did, my hair is basically destroy with yellow and orange tones, now I have to look for someone else to fix it, Lydia prefer quantity over quality so sad... read more

I honestly don't know what the people on here with one star reviews are talking about. Lydia is soooo good!!! I've been going with her for a while and she never disappoints! I tell her what I want and she gives me her opinion on it. I've been to other places to get my hair done before I found Lydia and nothing beats her. I always LOVE my hair, she's just that good. Yeah she has other girls that help her but people have to understand she doesn't have 6 arms to work on 4 appointments at the same time, I mean cmon people. She also did my hair for my wedding which looked BOMB! it was a little tricky cuz my extensions were a little darker than my hair but she was able to match my hair to the extensions so well!!! Plus, she will give you recommendations on literally anything you ask her. 100% recommend, you will NOT be disappointed. read more

Lydia apologized and told me she would work me in today at 700am for Mother's Day. I came to my appt ON TIME . No one is here. I send a few texts to let her know I was here. No response . Just got my hair done on Sunday and I love it! I've gotten so many compliments. The whole staff was friendly and efficient. The studio is beautiful and modern and there's even a cute little puppy with a scarf walking around. Overpriced. Haircut came out all choppy. Didn't listen to my request. Assistants extremely pull your hair while combing it. Went home with a major headache. Color came out extremely yellow. DONT COME HERE. The shittiest hair salon ever. I came here like 4-5 months ago. My hair was extremely long and had very minor hair damage.. I showed Lydia a photo of what I wanted and she said " That's not my style" .. even though prior to this we had a consultation and she said she COULD DO IT .... I was desperate to get my hair done.. so I said okay.. we had great conversation she bragged about her traveling adventures the WHOLE TIME. She had the lady at the front desk finish my hair , I asked the lady "have you done hair before?" She said no she just "helps" .. so anyway after being there for eternity.. They rushed me out ! Lydia and the ladies there are very rude and rough with my hair. Lydia knew I hated my hair, she kept asking me if I liked it but I never said yes or no .. I had set up a last minute appointment I was a bit hesitant at first a because of the pricing. I was nearly being charge close to $400. Which at the end of the day I ended up paying close to that. When my hair was done she said my tips needed to be cut. Turns out she cut like 5 inches and it's uneven. She cut for like one minute and called it a day. Fastest hair cut ever, she cut to much and it cost $65. Don't get hair cuts here. So now I am devastated and missing my long hair. In addition the color is too orange. I wasn't feeling this experience with Lydia. Lastly, I wanted pictures I was going to have her take with my phone but she took with hers and said she would text them to me. 3 weeks later and I still haven't received any pic. I will not be coming here again. I think honestly it's like a hit and miss other times I have gone to her I liked it. This time around I am very unhappy.
