We fancied Thai food and in a rare evening away from our baby we decided to come try this place. The Decor was nice. We sat down and ordered food along with drinks which included a thai iced tea, Coke and beer. The coke was flat and tasted off. When I got the Thai iced tea it tasted good but after about a quarter of the way through I saw a dead fly on the inside of the glass. When I caught the waiters attention he didn't apologize but instead took it away and asked if we wanted another (which I didn't). After this I didn't really want to stay for food so we cancelled the order and settled our bill which they didn't waive. When I asked about the fly just for an apology the lady insulted my intelligence and said it was part of the tea! Not cool people, not cool! read more

Firstly this is a 100per cent THAI restaurant. It is also not where the directions say, but on the corner of Fleet Road and Reading Road South. The food is good and reasonable value for money. The 2 course lunch is less than £6. there is a really nice atmosphere and upstairs seating so getting a table is not usually a problem. The Pad Thai is excellent as is the Weeping Tiger, Red Curries and mixed starter platter. The staff are very polite and the whole place has an authentic feel without being kitch. read more

Absolutely delicious food! We had the platter to start. I followed it with a delicious curry, then thai pancake and a generous scoop of coconut ice cream and jasmine tea to finish the feast. Wonderful Thai food with the added benefit of being located across the street from a terrific pub. After three days of standing in a trade booth dinner here was a welcome treat. 1. Best Thai food I've ever had. I keep going back. Very impressed by the quality of the food when I went for someone's leaving do at work. The small triangular shaped space is more suited to couples than groups but the staff were most accommodating. The menu is well laid out and there's a resonable choice of drinks and desserts, often limited in Far Eastern establishments. I look forward to this place expanding. read more

Best Thai food ever! Really great tasting food in a lovely atmoshphere. The restaurantis over two floors and is situated conveniently. There is parking available nearby. Simply a brilliant place if you appreciate good Thai food cooked fresh and well. Prices are a little expensive but to be honest for the food they can charge what they like it is simply fantastic. They have a large selection of drinks available from asia which chinese and indian places often lack in town centres. Food is perfectly cooked and very tasty. Prebook in advance as it gets very busy. Known locally as one of the best restaurants in Fleet, and i would totally agree with this. Recommended if you like Thai food and can easily get there. More suited to couples than large groups, although the staff were very accommodating when we recently went for a friends leaving party. read more

What a dissapointing experience! As this restaurant seemed to have a good reputation we thought we would give it a try. We were never offered any drinks by either the unfriendly waiter or the waitress. We did get a nice smile from the elderly lady who I think is the cook/chef? We opted for the pricier Set menu for 2. The mixed platter items lacked seasoning and were bland. The thom yum soup needed a stronger stock/paste, more fish sauce and more lime juice. The scallop dish is listed as 'Scallops (plural)' so I was dissapointed to get 1 measley scallop in a scallop shell! It had little bit of broth which was nice. The Duck red curry was very sweet which it shouldn't be! They give 1 rice and 1 noodle but the rice is not enough as the noodles are like chow mein so it becomes a bit rich when you eat it with the main dishes. Very dissapointed. I offered to give constructive criticism to the waiter in a friendly manner but they wern't interested! Maybe the place has gone downhill recently? I should have stuck to Thai Lotusland in Farnham - that's worlds apart: Nice decor, cheaper, friendly, attentive staff and very good food! read more

If you like Thai food you'll love menu Thai. The food there is always great and the staff always friendly. They recognise you if you're a regular, which makes it a more welcoming experience. As with most places, it can get hectic on a Friday and Saturday night, so the service is slightly better during the week, when you usually don't need to pre-book. The food is always really fresh tasting, well cooked and comes at a reasonable price, so I would certainly recommend it to anyone! One quick tip - they add service charge into the bill, so you don't need to add it on top. read more

Never had a Thai meal before, so decided to try this from the recommendations on this site, and we wasn't disapointed!! We had a takeaway, so not sure what the restaurant is like to eat in, but the food was brilliant. We had the mixed starter, and the fish cake, with the chicken satay were very tasty The Pad Thai Goong was excellent, well flavoured with a decent amount of large prawns thrown in. Nice clean friendly restaurant, lovely food. However if you are looking to spend an evening in here forget it. You are very rushed, my husband and I have been a few times and eaten 2 courses and been out in less than three quarters of an hour. The second course is served as soon as you have eaten your starter. The toilets are upstairs so not user friendly for anyone with walking difficulties. However worth a try. read more

I come here at least once a week, delicious. You can save a lot by either getting take away (10% off bill plus no drinks to pay for) or come for lunch (prices are about half). Once they recognize you, service is top notch read more
