We took a short hike to the base and walked behind the falls and played in the water. The glamper itself was what everyone hopes and prays for from their camping trip - everything already set up for total comfort with water (provided in jugs), a fireplace if chilly, multiple ways to cook, a firepit and chairs on the balcony looking out into the forest. There was another bench over looking the falls which we took advantage of multiple times. Overall the property was everything we had wanted and so much more with an amazing price tag. I would suggest a higher clearance vehicle if you don't want to carry everything down. We didn't feel comfortable personally taking our sedan all the way to the site but there was a perfect parking spot about a city block away that was an easy walk to and from. There is also a fairy garden and to see the "fairies" play at night is so cool. The entire stay was relaxing, enjoyable and truly the best stay we have had in quite some time.

I did like the fact you can block off the sides of the back deck with curtains for more privacy. There are other amenities that you can take advantage of. We'd debated on the Tiny Cottage or TreeHouse and thankfully for 2 people, the TreeHouse was most appropriate for space. Check in was contactless and pretty easy based on the instructions provided by email. Golf carts and/or ATVs are provided for you to get around the property which was pretty cool. The TreeHouse was stored with most of your household basic needs. The only thing we needed inside that wasn't available was a cheese grater and colander for a recipe. However, we were able to improvise. There is a store on property which is accessible 24 hours. We were under the impression that the store carried eggs from seeing them on several TicTok videos, but that was not case during our stay. There were none in sight. Additionally, the store's payment kiosk was out of order so we were unable to purchase anything additional. This would've been nice to know at the time of booking. We ended up having to leave the property and head to the nearest Dollar General & Foodland for a few extras which was a short distance down the street. When returning from Foodland, we came across the manager who happened to be on the property. She was nice. The property's amenities were nice. We really enjoyed the main firepit and the people we met. Blankets were provided in a nearby bin. We didn't get to enjoy all of the amenities as the temps dropped significantly during our stay and a freeze warning was in affect. All in all, it was cozy, quiet and a peaceful retreat (except for the acorns hitting the top of the treehouse). It should be noted that the stairs are short and steep, getting to and from the bedroom (upstairs) and bathroom (downstairs). My friend slipped a little while going downstairs to the bathroom in the middle of the night, but she was fine and didn't hurt herself.

Not happy at all with this place nor the lack of response…read more Checked in for a long weekend and found the unit to be dirty, i.e. bug residue in the tubs, trash in back yard, linens musty smelling, remotes not working. I attempted to call the owner and got VM so I sent an e-mail to the address listed on the website with the following bullet points. I received no acknowledgement nor response; -Trash in the yard, ladder, plywood from what appears to be an unfinished project made enjoying the back porch simply not fun. -Bedding, both on the bed as well as the closet were very musty smelling, to the point that Angela washed the bed sheets on Saturday. -I got bites from some unknown insect after a night in the bed. -No night lights were working so we improvised with the bug light and putting it on the stairway to insure safe passage to the bathroom during the night. -Too many remotes, most not functioning due to dead batteries. I would think unused, unserviceable items would be removed from the unit. -I would suggest doing away with the lights on the fan. One cannot use the fan without the lights on. It was very warm upstairs this weekend. Otherwise a fan in the bedroom area would be a great addition. First and last stay with these folks.

First thing after I put away the groceries and was about to prepare dinner discovered the dishes in the cabinet were dirty, I put those into the dishwasher that did not work. I washed dishes for the weekend and set those a side. The hot tub was filthy along with the grounds around the cabin. After a very long day we went up stairs and pulled the spread back on the bed and discovered the sheets were filthy too. As we stripped the bed down to the mattress pad, it was so disgusting. I went to get a shower while my husband changed the sheet and the shower curtain was black with mold. I put on fresh socks to wear and by the time I got back upstairs those were black too. I sent the owners an email to let them know if they are paying someone to clean they needed to know that the cabin was nasty. I never received a response, so I guess they are doing their own cleaning. The cabin was nice but gross. If you need bath soap don't worry there were about 75 pieces left over from other visitors under the wet sink in the bathroom. Don't worry about running out of toilet paper either, they put all partial rolls in a cabinet over the commode, real classy. The only television was in the living room and was a 12 inch sitting across the room, we actually dragged it closer and we used the dining room chairs as end and coffee tables. And last but not least, be prepared to go in all terrain vehicle because the road is in bad shape, needs to be filled in and smoothed.
