We decided to move here instead of going home early. Thank goodness we did. We had a great time relaxing at the campground and engaging in nearby activities. I cannot speak highly enough about the owners. They were so friendly and accommodating! I didn't want to leave and I would definitely go back

Each room has a private deck overlooking the courtyard and a stream. The rocking chairs help add to the relaxation. Def enjoyed a coffee in the morning watching the sunrise from mine. Price is really reasonable. It has a nice restaurant. The buffet offered a nice selection of options and I never saw options run out for anyone. Just know that it is only open Fri dinner through Sunday lunch. There is so much to do in the area and this is a perfect headquarters for you time in NE Alabama.

The plan was to stay a month and see the area, and at the end of the month, if I liked it, I would extend my stay. That was four months ago. The resident TEAM is amazing. The park exists in the folds of the mountainside with nature all around. But what I didn't expect and truly appreciate is that the park is on Lookout Mountain. Within a few minutes, there are breathtaking views, and trails as well as a river that has cut through the mountain, which requires me to visit at least once a week. The park is next to the city of Ft. Payne. Ft. Payne has the ambiance of Mayberry, but all that is needed to enjoy life. The Ft. Payne city council takes good care of the city and all that it has to offer. Bottom line is, I don't know when I will be leaving here. I enjoy the people who make this place a home. I like living here at the park for the ambiance. I like the city of Ft Payne and how it is run. BUT most of all, I love () the mountain.

We stayed on buddy sites 50/51 with friends. Sites were level and shaded and had full hook up with 30/50 amp power, cable tv and decent WiFi. Very quiet at night. Yes there were quite a few full-timers but they were all nice and the park was clean. Checked out the bath house and although small it was clean. Close to little river canyon and Mentone. Highly recommend Rim of the Canyon Cafe also!

We have never stayed anywhere where we were treated with such kindness. The INN is family owned and operated and they care about making you happy. They have Bible studies and gospel signings for their guest. We have done our annual family reunion for 60+ family from multiple states for several years now. We rent the pavilion for suppers together and meet at the waterpark or any of the many pools for family time together. This year our extended family of 15 stayed in house #41 for the first time. It is fairly new, really beautiful, and with the very best kitchen we have found anywhere in our travels. Huge and super-well equipped. Mattresses were all great and everyone slept well all four nights. Only negative about this beautiful home is that there are no bedrooms on the main level so everyone has to either go upstairs or downstairs for sleeping. Also the driveway is a bit challenging but we navigated it well with our Armada and were able to park two cars in the garage. Garage needs a step to help guests climb up into the house but we all managed. Front door is very easy access if guests want to avoid the very tall step from the garage. Also pet friendly which is very rate at CBR. We would definitely rent this one again!
