I am extremely disappointed in our treatment, the lack of professionalism and the constant…read moredismissive behavior that we were rendered on Saturday May 2, 2026. An experience that was supposed to be memorable, ruined by an employee who was more concerned with upselling a used tux than helping my son find something for his first prom. The lady that was there was kind and welcoming. Unfortunately we were helped by an older man who had locks and glasses. Never did extend his name. (Edit looking at other reviews his name may be Dew or Drew) When we first got there it was super busy. This is understandable considering the size of the store and only two employees on the floor. My family and I patiently waited for 15 minutes to let the man know why we were they, in which he says we are late prom people and we should have gotten a look together weeks in advance and that the rental requires 30 days in advance and they would not be able to receive it. We were told we would have to find something in the store , he points to a rack against the wall. I was under the impression that these were rental tux's. He never took time to explain any of it. After being there for another 45 minutes of waiting to get help because he kept saying he would be with us but then taking people who came in after us, we finally got to the point where he talked to me and told my son to try on the tux we found. It was perfect. Looking at it, it didn't need anything done. Mind you I'm thinking this is a rental because there is not a price on it, the size tags are ripped off and you can visually look and see it's been worn, not to mention the bow tie in the pocket. When my son comes out of the dressing room, he ignores my kid and has small talk with a lady who came in with her kid. When he decides he is finished with the conversation, he looks at my son, and says ohhh you found something. It's $450. I said this is not a new suit and where do you see $450 because there are no tags on this and the size patch was cut out, this tux is worn. I said I thought this was a rental? He then says well the rentals are basic, I can go get you a catalog and walks off again. I am highly upset and I wanted his first experience to be special. It was not. Trying to support a black owned business and got treated like a peasant in the process. The funny thing is, if he knew who I was and what I did for a living, I guarantee he would not have done all of that. Treat people right! You never know who could be a blessing to you. I really do hope the owner reaches out to me. I would love to have a conversation. I have attached pics of the "basic tux" we wanted and the timeframe on the website that we would have indeed gotten the tux on time. Update: I wanted to reach out to them on their business page on Instagram to let the owner know about the interaction. I will include photos. I was blocked from their page after sending the message.

Every item had tickets still attached and were unworn. immediately, the management was called she came over to question why was I returning so many shoes? . I laughed now, but I was insulted and incensed! I said they didn't ask me that when I was buying them. She got angry and started singing, took 8 minutes to return the shoes, then she walked around the store telling all of the people that worked there (darker skinned African male, African female in home section, heavyset light skinned cashier sitting on a stool, and she called for the shopping center security monitor to come and guard the exit! After I noticed that they were following, I went on a tour. They original cashier with the short curly wig said that it is "store policy " to call manager for any return over two hundred dollars. I read the back of the receipt and have returned an item that cost over $300 and have never experienced this. I think this is because I am on vacation as of 6/23/2023, had surgery on my thigh Monday, 6/26/2023, and was not dressed to impress and no make up. Black people love to judge people based on how the look. I own a home near Wegman's, earn $170K yearly, have credit score of 780, completely debit free besides small remaining mortgage, have more than $29k in my checking, and I don't go around judging people based on how they are dressed, because none of that matters!!! If I had been feeling a little better I would have gone back to the store where I bought the item. They treat everyone with respect!!!! For the record. When I bought the shoes I didn't have glasses on and did try any of them on. When I got home with glasses on, none of them were leather. I do t wear man made material on my feet. They were fake designer shoes.

The employees are friendly and keep their store clean. I hate to walk into a store and see a store in disarray. Clothes and merchandise on the floor. Messy displays and clothes not in their proper areas. Checking out is always a painless wait. There couid be 20 people in line but you wont notice because they move fast. Returns are painless if your prepared with unworn clothes with tags. I love their selections. If I know exactly what I want, I use their online service to pick up at the store. Why wait? Now I knocked a star off because their cozy socks that goes on sale $1 are off cheap quality. After a few gentle wears, my socks had holes l. I dont recommend walking around in them. They wear out quicker.

Hey, PG needs love too! I rarely find anything in here. There's usually stuff all over the place and too few cashiers. This happens to be the closest old navy location to my house; but the convenience comes with a price. The staff generally look miserable which speaks to management ( usually). You can tell that morale is low here. Makes me never want to go in there again and just stick to some of the more lively and organized ON locations.
