This wonderful woman makes amazingly fashionable and SAFE masks! It covers your nose and under your chin. There is a metal pice located in the top of the mask to form to your face. On top of that she includes filters! This company does everything to ensure that you are safe when purchasing their products! They are a local staple of the community and what we are all looking for in times like these. Thank you to the Lee's!

They do a fantastic job here. Customer service is great, and the turn around is quick. I won't go anywhere else.

This review is definitely long, but if you are thinking about using Zips Cleaners for any service,…read moreI Highly suggest you read this review first. My ordeal started on 5/4/26 and it is now 6/5/26. They burned my suit pants, and left a black mark on my vest and they still have not compensated me for it. In fact they are ignoring my complaints and not responding to my emails. Please read my timeline below and view the pictures as well. This review will definitely help you make a decision of whether you want to take a RISKY chance using Zips Cleaners services. Monday - 5/4/26 - 7am - Took 25 items to be dry cleaned at the Lanham MD location 8805 Annapolis Rd Lanham, MD 20706. These garments consisted of full 2 and 3 piece suits. Tuesday - 5/5/26 - 7am - Picked all the items back up. Later in the day I inspected the suits. During so I discover several burn looking pattern marks on my brownish/ dark gold pants. I discovered almost the same burn mark on my gray pants but it wasn't as noticeable as the dark gold pants. I discovered a dark black mark on the gold vest and also some white marks on another suit. The main issue was the burn marks though especially on the dark gold suit pants. If an item is defective Zips will put a blue tag on it labeling it as defective or it has some type of issue. This was not the case with my damaged items so obviously my garments were in tip top shape when I left them in Zips care. Wednesday - 5/6/26 - 8:50am - I contacted zips through their website and let them know what was going on with my pants. I also sent pictures after the General Manager Lori responded to the complaint. Through email the General Manager instructed me to take the items back to the Lanham store and ask for the store manager Ana and she would help me. Thursday - 5/7/26 - Took all the damaged garments back. Friday - 5/8/26 - Called Zips they told me my garments would be ready at 5pm Saturday 5/9/26. I asked her if I could just pick them up Monday and she said that's fine as well. Monday 5/11/26 - 7:30am - I get to zips to pick up my items. I let the cashier know about my situation. I even showed her pictures of the damage. She looked up my account and immediately brought all the items over to me. They were all pressed and on hangers and in the plastic suit bags ready to go. The white marks on the dark brown suit were gone so it looked like they dry cleaned them again. I inspect the items and before I could even say anything the cashier saw the burns still on the pants. She said it looked damaged by the iron. That's what I thought all this entire time. Monday 5/11/26 - 2:20pm - I called Zips and talked to Ana the store manager. She informed me that she knows it's not stains but its ACTUAL BURNS. She said that she's waiting on Lori the General Manager to see what she wants to do. I emailed the General Manager the same day and explained all this. Lori Madero (The General Manager) emailed back and basically was saying how my logic was flawed and I guess her Store Manager's logic was flawed as well and pretty much on the defense of the company. She also seemed like she had an egotistical superiority complex. She said "the cashiers shouldn't be giving their opinion on garments"... like we are in a country with no Freedom of Speech. The cashier just said what it looked like, she wasn't giving a professional opinion so why be upset at that? Then the General Manager Lori continued by saying that only she makes the decisions and not the cashier nor the store manager. She said only she can inspect the garments and make her own assessment before a decision is made. Yet I was not told any of this beforehand. I was led to believe that the store manager who works at that location full time would handle everything. I responded in kind and the last thing I asked was for her to have better communication going forward and I will need to know when she is coming to that Zips location so that I can bring the garments back for a 5th time beforehand. She ignored my email and never responded. 5-19-26 I sent physical printed letters to their corporate office. 5/31/26 I submitted more complaints on their website and still no response. It is now 6-7-26 and still no response. I have not even been offered a refund on the damaged items. I hope this gives people a better idea of what happens if Zips Cleaners damages your items. They will take no responsibility for it and they will stop contacting you intentionally.

Chi was so kind from my first call - she never made me feel bad about coming to her in such a time crunch, and offered very reasonable alteration rates! From our first appointment, it was clear that Chi is an expert at her craft and is passionate about her work. She really cares about her brides and making sure we look and feel our best!! When I first received my dress, the neckline looked way different from when I tried on the store sample - Chi took a look at the original pics I had, and helped get the neckline back to the look I loved. In addition to the alterations, which were masterfully done, Chi offered some much appreciated wedding day wisdom that covered little details I would have missed otherwise. I would recommend Chi to any and every bride in the area. She does phenomenal work, and is such a sweet person!

Your work was truly stunning. My dress fit me like a glove -- honestly, even better than I ever imagined it would. You did an exquisite job, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Well the dasher couldn't find my location, so after 15 minutes of trying to help the uber driver navigate his UPS, he hung up on me. So as a result, I call the store and get the store manager. After explaining the situation, she tries to rush me off the phone and give me corporates number... on a Saturday. So I explain to her that I'm still going to have to go to the store to get my clothes and suit dry-cleaned - she hangs up on me. Here's where the fun comes... so I uber down to the store and upon entering I wait in line. By the grace of God, the uber driver is at the counter talking to the store manager asking about MY order. So as these two are going back and forth, I jump in - well that was awkward because they only have one register open due to their renovations and it's a Saturday! So to ease the situation, I try to make it simple and just explain that I just want to drop the clothes off because I have other things to do. The Uber driver is asking me if I can cancel the order (which you can't), the store manager is spinning around circles telling me I have to call corporate (which I won't) and all I want is my receipt and leave so these other people can be helped. After this whole debacle I am waiting off to the side to what would be their lobby. The store manager, Lisa, decides that's she's going to use the last two cents of her brain to talk about me! She says, "... you call corporate, you figure out your refund - that's not my problem."... to which makes me go back in the store and confront her. The poor store clerk's eyes LIT UP when he realized I was still in the building. I expressed how poorly her management and leadership skills were and how embarrassing it must be to not even have the common sense to check the lobby before berating your customer... I asked for a call back and apology from Jaici Kelly, Director of Operations and Store Development, still haven't heard a response or received an apology... As an executive leader, this poor negligence and disregard for staff safety and customer sentiment reflects on their leadership. The company has a leadership issue.

That plus 24-hour turnaround times mostly, except through Sundays, when they are closed, makes ZIPS Cleaners a locale that Lunella (Moon Girl), Marvin (Kid Kree), and even their parents would appreciate, assuming they made the trip from the LES (lower East Side) of New York City to College Park, Maryland.
