I was referred to Menlo Hardwoods by a good friend- due to my taste in interesting furniture art. I wasn't disappointed....upon walking in I realized that this boutique artistic and also practical gallery, was a good spot to check out. Anyone who needs some hanging art, or mirrors..or dining tables..or headboard, dishes, end tables, exotic candle holders...or other interesting and necessary home furnishings- should check this place out.
Parking is easy- very easy by Bay Area standards...prices for merchandise are reasonable...and selection features a good variety. It's a small business that is efficiently run and focused on customer service. Privately owned and operated by a very knowledgeable staff.
There is a story behind each piece and design in the shop...specifically I have been talking to George about a number of objects--including some customized pieces that I have been procuring for a residence of mine. Whether you want custom woodworking for unique furnishings...or you would like to buy something that is already made...
I recommend stopping by this place and seeing what's there...at minimum, you will see some interesting pieces and have fun looking at and touching the beautiful craft of the pieces...and who knows, you might walk out the door with a couple too..or feel inspired to have something created just for you for that random corner in house...or a wall that could use something on it...or an exotic table or chair....or maybe something simple to feel closer to nature when at home. read more
