It was super light and not sweet thankfully, since the sweetness came from the fruit and ice cream. I'm drooling just reminiscing about it. We took the taiyaki home for the kids and it was delish, even 45mins after being cooked. Still soft and warm on the inside, almost like a cake/cookie stuffed with melty Nutella, shaped like a fish. I'm sure it would have tasted even better after being freshly made. Both desserts were HEAVENLY and I didn't leave me feeling like I gained 10 lbs. The interior is quirky and minimal. I loved the hand-painted cat art. It looks like they get busy and may not be able to wipe everything down thoroughly between customers.
