Today at 9AM was my last time in the clinic, and I have received 3 months of treatment after my rear-ending collision. The staff have been nothing but helpful. The doctors are always looking forward to wondering how an individual is doing beyond their physical state of which I would assume they are recovering from injury. The ladies working behind the desk have been nothing but understanding and considerate of my situation. Considering that I have a very busy schedule, they were always willing to work around my schedule and hope that I receive the care that I need. They seem to always be looking for the best for their patients, and I appreciate the extra brain power they put into considering and organizing everyone's time. Not only is this clinic mindful of the physical distress, they care about each patient and truly understand where they are coming from to better assess their situation. Dr. Oh has also taught me to care more about the functionality of my body while I partake in physical activities, and I hope to take his knowledge with me as I continue my journey through fitness. Both doctors have been very kind to me in regards to my healing process after my accident, considering that it was my first collision and I was very nervous to access the situation with lawyers/attorneys. It was a very tough time for me and they gave me the support I needed. This the fast food of chiropractic services. It seems that appointments are over booked or booked one after another. The waiting room is constantly crowded to the point that people are waiting outside (including myself). You can see the doctor jump from room to room without taking a break. The service itself was good, the doc asked a couple of questions regarding my situation. A couple of quick adjustments and I was on my way. Just hoped it wasn't so crowded and more personal, instead of feeling like this office wants fast turn arounds. read more

I honestly get the 5 star reviews for the doctor, but for the workers up front, I don't. This is about the third time i make an appointment with them, i come early in case i need to fill out paperwork, but it always takes them forever to hand me it due to them gossiping. I always end up having to interrupt to get them to get my paperwork, and get attitude afterwards. I fill everything out, and hand it back. Every single time the doctor comes out they act like they've been workin. I've had to wait about 1-2 hours & it always ends up being because the workers up front haven't filled out my paperwork . I've been here a few times and each time my visit is pleasant. The staff is nice and Dr. Mendyk is amazing. He made me feel comfortable before he cracked my neck releasing a lot of pressure. Cracking my neck has always even a fear of mine but it happened with ease and I felt a whole lot better. The only downside, is the parking In the area is not good and always crowded. read more

I Took my daughter here for an appointment. The day before, they completely forgot about her appointment so she had to reschedule the next day. While in the waiting room , I could not help but hear the receptionist and staff loudly cursing, F this, shit that. It was very unprofessional. I get it, we live in the I E, the ghetto and we all talk like that, but you are in aDRS. Office! There were lots if children around, you are representing a business. I have never seen anything like that in my life . IfI talked like that in front of my customers, I'm sure our business would suffer. and Id be I reprimanded. Update: I received a message the evening i initially came in. I was offered an hour massage for the miscommunication and was told that a half an hour massage would consist of a 20 minute massage and maybe the person at the front counter should had explained the way the appointment works. Went to this office a year ago when my back, arm and neck suddenly started hurting. Difficult to move, sit, drive or lie down. After a couple of appointments started feeling better. Dr Lajom and Staff Do an outstanding job caring for their patients I have received excellent care mentally and physically I went into that office in a lot of pain and when I left the office and with the home care I was given I was a new body and spirit. The office experience was wonderful I was greeted by Jackie the receptionist who knows everyone's name " so upbeat " makes you feel so welcomed . Then you go into the exam rooms and Dr Lajom comes in with all his energy "Wow" what an experience that is such a strong and friendly man. Then you enter into a room for treatment with a bunch of sweet and caring assistants that help you withe your treatment and a nice warm smiles that give you excellent care. There is nothing left but to feel good I must add Dr Lajom leaves a new affirmations every week on the board I always came in in took a picture of them so I could remember how good it made me feel. Dr. Mendyk is amazing! I went in with some stiffness in my back and after a few appointments I felt brand new. Dr. Mendyk also gives you a stretching routine that helps with your recovery. Dr. Mendyk is one of the most genuine and considerate healthcare Providers I've ever been to. He sees a ton of patients (which is a great review in itself) but I've never felt rushed with him. He takes his time to review your chart from your last visit and has been so kind in offering more holistic and natural recommendations for my RA I was recently diagnosed with. His compassion for what I'm going through at a pretty young age is comforting and I feel like he really cares, even if only for the short time I'm there. My Husband started as a cash-pay patient and the prices were reasonable but we are fortunate now to both have insurance, and Mendyk Chiro is contracted with Kaiser so we just have a $10 copay. We've been scheduling monthly appointments and have made visits with him a permanent addition to our healthcare. EVERYBODY has aches and pains that we are quick to write-off or neglect, but the instant gratification from hearing every bone in your back and neck pop is worth the effort to stop in every month. read more

Dr Mendyk has been treating me for about 20 years. Dr Mendyk and his staff are very professional and friendly. They are always able to fit me in when my back or neck are in dire pain. Without medical insurance to cover the visits, his fees are very reasonable and affordable. He is now treating my 16 daughter as well as myself. Dr Mendyk took time to research my daughters rare genetic condition in order to make sure he was able to treat her without causing any further issues. I look forward to seeing the girls in the office and they always do a good job of getting me an extra appointment when I need it. The new location is convenient, clean, and close. Recently I thought I had a rib out of place so I made an immediate appointment; all it took was one look at me and Dr. Mendyk knew something wasn't right. He went ahead and adjusted me but urged me to head to Urgent Care; it was in fact my gallbladder, not a rib that was really bothering me, and I had surgery the next day. Front office is unorganized. On "Therapy days" they overbook their customers. This is only the second time I've been here and I already hate it. I've been here over an hour and I'm still waiting. This is my second time seeing Dr. Mendyk for treatment following two serious vehicle accidents I was involved in. I haven't been to a chiro for 20 years but since i have kaiser benefits i decided to use them. First its a little hard to find in the back of the complex, and the office is small, and the staff doesn't get there early to set up, they seem to be in a hurry to get organized when opening on thursdays at 2pm. and they do schedule multiple people at the same time because they have 4 rooms available and it only takes less than 15 minutes in the room with the doctor. after that you are taken to the back for the "stretching roller table?" if thats what its called. then behind a curtain was a massage therapist works on your trouble area. at least this is the treatment i am getting. I am out in less than an hour. when i get there at 2 or 2:30. the doctor is amazing, very knowledgeable, good bedside manner no shaming here. there is another office on Allessandro with another Dr. that i went to first and they have widely different treatments. the other place is larger more clinical. this place is smaller more homey. and each doctor is different in the way they decide your treatment plan. read more

Dr Mendyk has done an incredible job helping me with all my ailments. My L hip has substantially been doing much better since I started doing the exercises he recommended. And his back adjustments. He is very professional & he knows his stuff. He even helped me with my GERD!! His massage girl is incredibly strong & I will be sore for 2-3 days after. (don't think she knows how strong she is!) some of his employees need brushing up on customer service skills and some of his equipment & pillows need some revamping.
