Last shop on Main St Mendocino Sandpiper is pet friendly. Sandpiper has a very large selection of jewelry. I purchased a amber necklace and earrings for my wife to match a dress she purchased earlier in the day. Our sales lady was helpful and charming. We shared pet stores with each other as we shopped. Overall a great experience here. read more

Mendocino Sandpiper - Amber necklace and earrings along with something else my wife wanted lol - Jewelry Near Me - Mendocino, California

I grew up in Fort Bragg and visiting Sandpiper with my mom was always one of my favorite things to do on the weekends. Now, as an adult, every time I'm in the area, I ALWAYS make a stop in here to pick up gifts for family members. Not only is the jewelry absolutely stunning, the atmosphere is so lovely and you can't find pieces like this anywhere else. If anything, just stop in and enjoy taking a look. read more

Mendocino Sandpiper - Amethyst necklace - Jewelry Near Me - Mendocino, California

Found this shop a couple years ago and it's been my go to jewelry spot since. Shop owner and employees are friendly and welcoming. Aesthetically pleasing displays. Super clean and organized. I've gotten many different jewelry pieces here (earrings, rings, pendants) and the quality of each one is amazing! I've worn the rings everyday for 1+ years and the quality is still as amazing as the day I bought them. The pricing is fair especially for the quality of items in the shop. Unique pendants with genuine stones. Overall, an amazing spot to check out! read more

Absolutely loved my experience here today. I bought three sets of gorgeous earrings. I was lucky enough to meet one of the artists, Paloma and buy an incredible set of her earrings. She's got a beautiful soul as well as talent. The other female working at the store had a beautiful energy as well. I'll be back and recommend others to visit here. Terrific experience and fair prices for the beauty offered. read more

I LOVEEEEE THIS store. I have four pieces of jewelry from this awesome place. I come here every time I'm in Mendocino. Something broke when I got home and I called them and they were very accommodating and trusting of me. I appreciate that. I mailed it to them and they replaced it...... it's not often you get that kind of service any more. Taylor is wonderful to work with. Thank you Taylor! read more

Very charming shop and a great place to get gifts or a little treat for yourself! The staff were very nice and friendly. The shop has a good selection and unique pieces. Lots of lovely ocean inspired pieces, which were my fave. read more

Loved this place! Although I was not in the market for jewelry they had some amazing pieces and it was truly affordable. The items that stood out to me were the sterling silver filigree rings that had leaf and bird designs on them (come to think of it, I WISH I bought them now) and the necklaces and earrings that had real pressed flowers in them. I can see being a local and shopping here regularly for gifts and for myself. The staff seemed friendly. There were also some unique statues and small artwork for sale. Well laid out and pretty eye-catching displays. Plus, the name is just adorable! read more

Amazing selection of jewelry with so much variety! I stayed in Mendocino for a night and I am so happy to have visited this shop during my short stay. I left with two beautiful pairs of earrings and the prices are so affordable. If I am ever in the area again, I will be coming back for more lovely pieces! read more

The jewelry here is all locally made and the customer service is incredible! I got a pair of earrings here and unfortunately managed to lose one of them. I called the store and spoke with Taylor to see if I could get one replaced. She reached out to the artist and handled everything for me and is sending another replacement my way!!! Wonderful shop, very happy to put money into businesses like this one. read more

In my last review, I talked about my addiction to necklaces. People probably read it and chuckled, not realizing how bad my problem is. During my last trip to Mendocino, I came into this store. I saw some great necklaces and started trying them on, despite not wanting to buy anything. I was sure I could be disciplined. I soon realized that wasn't going to happen, but I could at least limit myself to one purchase. So I decided upon a great necklace by Firefly Jewelry (http://www.fresherdelights.com/html/FireFly_Jewelry.htm). And I passed on another necklace that I really liked because I was trying to be good. No matter how much my friend tried to convince me that I needed both (enabler), I stayed strong and refused the second one. Some people have moments of weakness. I have moments of strength like this. And they're devastating to me. I should follow my whimsy - it suits me better. So I've been thinking about that second necklace ever since I got back from that trip. It started to consume me. I would be getting dressed and picking out jewelry and I'd think about how that second necklace would be perfect. It's made by Adaya (http://www.goood.co.il/products.asp?Cat2Cat1ID=5) Finally I knew I had to do something. I called the store and spoke with Roxanne, the owner, who is an absolute gem. I explained the necklace to her and she knew exactly which one I meant. She took my credit card information and charged me only $5 for shipping! That was two days ago and the package just arrived and I'm happy as a pig in shit! A sweet dealer who delivers my fix? Can't beat that. read more

My all-time favorite jewelry store, highly recommend! We were just on a weekend trip from SF and came across this gem. I've never seen so many beautiful pieces of jewelry in one place. read more

Now and then a traveler is lucky enough to find just the right shop, the right sales person, the right piece to purchase. That happened to me today when I walked into Sandpiper and met Frances! The shop has so many pieces of jewelry art that it took a long time to view it all. Finally I couldn't resist a closer look at a particular ring and Frances took it from the case for me to see. Wouldn't you know it was a perfect fit and now it's on my finger. This is a shop to which I will return whenever I am visiting! read more

Nice selection of reasonably priced jewelry. Conveniently located in Historic D.T. Mendocino. The only complaint I have is that it took a while (about 15 mins?) to pay for my jewelry. I asked 2 different sales reps if I could pay when they got the chance (tho' I understand they were showing their goods to other customers), but was a bit annoyed since my time is valuable too, and i was *ready* to make them a sale. *4.5* read more

Another must visit on every trip. Wonderful staff, knowledgeable on their inventory and super helpful to suggest if you need it. Be prepared to be in awe of all the sparklies, but to be able to find something that is $12 or $500 is fabulous. :-) read more

Amazing shop full of fantastic, unique, jewelry - much of which is made locally, if I recall right. Check out the great pieces by Holly Yashi - the last time I was here there were some pieces which I have not seen on Holly Yashi's own website. Fantastic service too - normally, as a youngish guy who dresses fairly casually, I often don't get taken seriously when I walk into a jewelry store and indicate that I'm in the market for several hundred dollars worth of women's jewelry. Not here: Roxanne took the time to assist me properly, writing down the item number of each piece for me and shipping the pretties down to my mother in L.A. when I phoned in my order about two weeks later. Everything about my experience was positive and everything about the transaction and shipment went smoothly and without incident. This is something that should be standard in any business which deals with larger sums of money, but sadly it's not, and so whenever I'm gift-hunting on the North Coast again, I know where to look first. read more

Fantastic selections of mid-range jewelry. A lot of silver pieces are fairly unique, quality are above average. They also have some fine jewelry and some modern pieces. The lady at the shop are super nice, friendly. You can spend sometime here browsing and not receive any sales pitch. read more

Wonderful store in a beautiful location. Great variety of jewelry and prices. Really thoughtful and kind staff.

Awesome selection. Prices aren't bad. Perfect place to pick up a few "gifts", though it's OK if they're all for you! They have awesome unique sterling silver pieces and before I knew it, I was ringing up 3 pairs of earrings and a ring. No, none of them were gifts... Good collection of sterling and Baltic amber pieces; I've seen better variety...IN POLAND. The lady behind the counter was very sweet and allowed me to peruse the cases, trying on ring after ring till I found the one that was JUST right. Overall, the shop is a pretty good size, has other non-jewelry gift items as well, and has that whimsical light atmosphere without being cheesy. With that being said, MEN: you may want to wait outside if this isn't your bag or go down the street to the bookstore while you wait because the ladies will have a field day here. WOMEN: excuse the men, graciously. Took off a star because some items, but very few, were a little bit more then I've seen elsewhere, though I obviously still shopped here! read more

The ladies at this store were exceptionally friendly and kind. I appreciated how much they helped me when I came in.

Jewelry heaven! Mendocino Sandpiper is an amazing, AFFORDABLE jewelry shop that is located at the west end of Main Street. They carry a plethora of beautiful rings, earrings, pendants and tiny nicknack's. I walked away with a beautiful silver-art nouveau-scroll ring. Perfection! read more

This shop is truly a GEM and the shop keeper is a joy. Wide selection, helpful staff and reasonably priced.

A cute store with 2 large rooms and looks of baubles and trinkets for you to scour thru to your heart's content. The prices are quiet reasonable. They have a few local Mendocino artist's earrings (the ones with dog and cat earrings) and crystal earrings, gemstone earrings, etc. I didn't see anything I liked but clearly other shoppers were enjoying themselves. They are also one of the business with a discount coupon in the Mendocino Traveler magazine you can pick up along the way or at the tourist office. read more

Reasonable prices for most jewelry especially the sterling silver pieces with a focus on the brand name, Boma, made in Thailand. There are some vintage looking jewelry, gems, and ocean-thematic pendants and earrings. The ladies who work here are friendly and welcoming. This shop is a good place to look for gifts and to purchase well priced sterling silver jewelry on a visit to Mendocino. read more

I have purchased many items here. Beautiful, quality and the folks who work here are good people. Highly recommend.

We visited Mendocino for the first time on Sat., April 28th, and walked around enjoying the scenery. Stopped in a few shops and this was one of them. The selection of jewelry is unbelievable. Naturally, the bigger the selection, the longer it takes me to decide. I tried to hurry, as my husband and son were sitting outside waiting for me. I finally opted for a beautiful pair of sterling, dangle, abalone earrings. A big presence at a reasonable price. In fact, all the jewelry I looked at was priced very reasonably. The lady who waited on me was extremely polite and helpful. If you like jewelry of different styles, shapes, and materials, you'll like this place. Highly recommend. read more

My favorite jewelry boutique. Beautiful pieces and very helpful staff. It's a must visit when in Mendocino.

This is a not to be missed spot in Mendocino! This shop is as darling as it gets, with some of the most gorgeous pieces of jewelry at reasonable prices. On my vacation I purchased the most perfect gold lotus necklace. My mother loved it so much that she wanted a matching one too! This shop carries local designers, which meant that when I called to purchase a second one they had to order from the designer directly. I'm in the hotel industry, I understand that the loveliest of all gestures can sometimes be forgotten and I knew that I should keep in mind to check back as I was quoted a two week time frame. Well, these ladies are just the best and I received a call that it was in, and ready to be shipped off within a day. You just don't see that level of service these days! Taylor & Becky helped me with the process, making it simple and easy, something I really appreciate. I can't wait for my mom to have a special piece of Mendo with her too. Thank you for everything and I'll be sure to be back! read more

Came here browsing while in Mendocino Village and found some cute presents for family! I thought some of the prices were a bit high, while others were quite low. It depends on what you're looking for! Found some beautiful pendants made out of glass for $9.50 and earrings for $10. I found a BEAUTIFUL necklace for $125...just a bit too high. The woman (long blond hair) helping me was SOOO sweet! Very appreciative of her help! read more

Out of all the shops I like to visit when in Mendocino, this is by far my favorite. There are a lot of adorable pieces to choose from and the price is right. Last time I was there I purchased a beautiful petite necklace that was made locally. It's a must if you plan to visit the area. read more
