Tried Menchie's in Wesley Chapel for a late night treat with my daughter and some friends, overall we had a good experience. It was busy, so the place wasn't the cleanest, but there were tons of frozen yogurt flavors and a good variety of toppings to choose from. Love their sour frozen yogurt. All the other flavors are just okay. I love walking in and finding a $5 cup of the sour one in the fridge. At the end of the day, they empty the machines and sell that for $5. Otherwise, It's an overpriced ice cream to be honest, but it's a healthier option (without all the candy toppings of course). Munchie is good ice cream at the mall. It has a lot topping choices. That is the major reason they are solid 4 stars. It is love by Wesley Chapel residents. Many have come here. I feel that 1 clerk is not enough. The soft serve is by weight. But the toppings are impressive. They include hot fudge, strawberry dip chocolate, sweeten cherry, sprinkles, . Since it is by weight, the toppings become burden to weight in for additional cost. However, since they have good topping, customers don't mind. My fave frozen yogurt shop in Wesley Chapel. It's family owned, many times I have met the owner working the counter and she is really pleasant. She always mentions what flavors are new, which ones are being rotated out soon, so you don't lose out on an opportunity to try a flavor. So the gist of the yogurt shop, like many: 1. It's self serve 2. You choose whatever flavors you like from the options provided. You can mix flavors and create yogurt swirls as your base. The large warm waffle cup is an additional price. 3. Fill your yogurt cup with as many toppings as your heart desires. They have candy, fresh fruit, miniature cheesecake bites (my personal fave), mochi, popping boba pearls (another fave), brownies, syrups just to name a few. 4. Weigh your cup as price is based on the weight and enjoy! They have some deals so look out for them. I really enjoyed their $6 fill up (regardless of weight but I am not sure if they still do this promotion). It was so good, I forgot to take a picture. They have many "healthier" options to include gluten free, no high fructose corn syrup as well as low fat/sugar options. They also had all kinds of toppings from chocolate to fruit as well as their famous waffle cones. The staff was very friendly when we came inside they immediately greeted us. My family really enjoy coming here for frozen yogurt. They have a variety of flavors and toppings. My son loves the frosted animal cookie mixed with vanilla. He then tops it with shark gummies, gummy worms, gummy bears and sprinkles. I usually get the cake batter with sprinkles, whipped cream, strawberries and fudge brownie. They have vegan, low-carb, low-fat and gluten free flavors. The owners, Sheilla and Leroy Lee, are always nice whenever I see them. They greet you with a warm smile. There's merchandise like stuffed toys and a ball to purchase for the kids. If you're celebrating a birthday, they sell custom fro-yo birthday cakes. There's a small table for children and 2 high chairs for babies. There's a total of 4 tables for seating with 11 chairs. You can also sit outside but there's only two tables. I'm a huge fan of Menchies. It makes you feel less guilty about getting dessert! I have to say their original tart is my favorite. They have gluten free and dairy free options if you have friends with diet restrictions too. This was my first time at this location and everyone was so friendly. That's one thing that made this location stand out, the friendliness of the staff. One of the employees recommended I download their app (didnt know they had one) which I get notifications for deals and an automatic $5 off!I happened to stumble upon Free Waffle Wednesday and man it's so delicious when you get it in a waffle cone! They also sell large batches if froyo for much cheaper. It'll last you a while and expires in 60 days. Brought my boys hear for a midday treat and was really disappointed. The shop is not kept well and felt really dirty. Floors were filthy and tables all sticky. The topping bars fruit looked like it had not been refreshed and on the verge of spoil. The cookie and sprinkle toppings did not look or taste fresh (cookies had no crunch and were soft when u ate them). This was the first time my kids didn't finish their ice cream ever. We will probably be sticking to some of our other favorite ice cream shops in the area or drive to land o lakes for sweet frog. read more

hello,i go to the Wiregrass mall a lot and this is what i spend my money on,its a great snack or you can get it for dessert after eating but the reason why i love menchies so much is the great amazing frozen yogurt and it's healthy(well it's better then normal ice cream)the frozen yogurt is amazing and i love the amount of topping you can put i love the cheesecake bites they are amazing and delicious and the marsh mellow fluff is so good,next thing i will talk about is the service,the workers are always nice and friendly and frozen yogurt is the best thing to have if your in a hurry and want something sweet or if you want something small that doesn't fill you all the way up and you can fill it all the way to the top and it will only cost around 7 to 8 dollars,last thing im going to talk about is the environment,it is very clean and the tables are never messy and it's not that loud,would recommend coming here. read more

Oh yay! Another frozen yogurt/ice cream place in the Wesley Chapel/New Tampa area. This one should be a popular location being that it is in the Wiregrass Mall area. It's not in the mall, but it's on the outskirts, but Panera. They have a good number of frozen yogurt flavors and toppings, and it's .58/per pound. I went during their Grand Opening first day(Saturday). It was quite popular because it was their ribbon cutting and free yogurt for a couple hours. They still have specials this week, so make sure to check it out. My frozen yogurt was good. I picked several to try and went with red velvet, dulce de leche, and some tropical flavors. My favorite toppings were the strawberry popping boba and the heath toffee, and the peach rings. There's a lot of candies and fruit toppings to make you happy. read more

The staff are excellent, not like some other places with distracted teens. It is very clean and they have COVID precautions in place. Masks required and they also sell them for $1. You sanitize you're hands and then wait for the people in front to finish getting the soft serve and then wait for the topping station. They have the toppings in tiny containers. They seem to get a new flavor or two every two weeks or so. I didn't notice a big price difference after the COVID precautions. No seating inside and they've got two tables outside. It's a very small place so you might have to take your food in the go. That's the only downside. There's a bar next door that has live music sometimes too. read more

I went in for another spoon after I dropped mine, but because my boyfriend went in the store to grab us frozen yogurt and not me, I was denied a spoon since I wasn't the one who came in/paid. Good Low Carb flavor but HORRIBLE customer service. I asked about putting yogurt in my own cake cone (which I purchased) and they were baffled as to how to weigh it. I asked if they could just weigh it as it it were the same as a cup? Nick (the manager/district lead) actually said he could lose out on "making money". When they weighed the difference in the empty cup versus an empty cone I think the difference was roughly 4 cents. He said he had to train his employees on how to do it when he wasn't there. I commented - that he was teaching them a valuable lesson in customer service. Holy cow! Not to mention I saved them the cost of the cup and the spoon themselves which I can guarantee cost him more than 4 cents. I work in an ice cream store, so I know how much the 12oz cups and plastic spoons are. I also know what good customer service is and how to think outside the box for the sake of helping and pleasing a customer. The manager (Nick) actually commented on how good my cone looked (like I said I work in an ice cream store and know how to make a good soft serve cone) and he is going to look into getting cones! I went back there twice and the employees (even those who were there the first time) gave me an attitude. The 3rd time, they actually called the manager, Nick, to ask what to do and how to charge me. (I thought he had trained them on how to weigh it). He actually told them to have me put my cone in their cup to weigh it. I dropped a cup on the floor, had to get another one, so he had to pay for 2 cups. He could've saved those cost and I would've paid cash but I wanted him to have to pay the credit card fee so I use my amex. I brought my entire family in for yogurt so they "made some money" on us. They would've made a tip too if they had showed some level of service and a nice attitude. I called and asked for the owner (Greg) and they gave me the number for a McDonalds. This location is always out of flavors. Machines are always down. They only put out a few mini-sample cups so you have to keep asking and they don't put out the spoons they have to hand them to you which grosses me out because they're not individually wrapped, just put the spoons in a holder like every other location and put out sample cups so we can try the flavors to see which ones we like before spending $17 on two cups of fro-yo. They literally stare at you the whole time you're in there it's awkward in such a small space. I like menchies but this location stinks, I have been to several and this place is not like the rest. It's supposed to be fun getting "fro-yo" but it has a very uptight feel. Sadly I predict It's not going to be in business much longer unless they hire kid and adult friendly happy staff and stop running it like some prison lunch line. I'm sorry I'm really irked by the whole hoarding spoons and sample cups. I mean I get it maybe some idiot took a bunch of spoons or ate a few extra samples, move on if you want customers. Cute little froyo shop that has 1,000,000 toppings and options. I enjoyed what I got as did my son. The froyo itself is really tasty. For me it usually all tastes the same but I really enjoyed the flavor here. The only downside is there really isn't enough seating available unless you want to go outside and sweat to death while your froyo becomes soup. read more

Have been here twice in the first week since it's been open. When we went the first time the gentleman owner was there and is accommodating and friendly. Being new, everything was in great shape and well stocked. Many times frozen yogurt shops will keep the same yogurts... When we went in for the second time they had mixed in with the standard ones a few new flavors- it was great to try them! On the second visit we were bummed to see fruit flies all over the cherries, strawberries, kiwi... Even some flies floating in the cherry juices... I am sure will be something that will not be overlooked when the owner is there. read more

As a type II diabetic, I really appreciate that Menchies always has a no sugar added flavor available. However, I am giving this Menchies location only three stars. Most ever time we call, the only no sugar added flavors they usually have available are their no sugar added Strawberry (honestly, the only thing at Menchies I actually dislike) or their no sugar added Vanilla (good, but could use a bit of no sugar added chocolate or Carmel sauce, and they do not have no sugar added sauces). Other Menchies locations often have their no sugar added Dark Chocolate Bar (Delicious!), their no sugar added Pecan Praline Surprise (Very Good), or their no sugar added Iced Coffee flavor (My Favorite!), but the Wiregrass location seems like it has Strawberry for a very long time, then Vanilla for a very long time, then Strawberry again, then back to Vanilla, an so on. I strongly recommend this location take advantage of the other far superior no sugar added flavors Menchies has to offer. You'll sell a lot more no sugar added yogert if you did! read more

I was pleased with the lean towards healthier ingredients and labeling , the Jamocha was a little in the bitter side, loved the birthday cake!
