Wrong hours posted on their search engines. Went in to shop just to be told that sorry we are closing shortly you'll have to go pay for your item at the register. I just walked in and grab this 1 item right off your shelf when I first walk in and that wasn't what I was coming to purchase. The Oak Park Heights manager got in my face over not wearing a mask. He did not social distance when trying to throw a Disabled Veteran out of his store. Nor did he offer other accommodations, like curbside pick up, per Executive Order 20-81. Mr Menard needs to have more consideration and accommodations for people with disabilities. The companies store policy goes beyond Minnesota state's Mask Mandate and actually discriminates against those who cannot wear a face covering. You must make the proper accommodations like curbside pick up for those who cannot wear a face mask or you are breaking the law per The Americans with Disabilities Act. I've spent hundreds of thousands of dollars at Menard's. They just lost a loyal customer and possibility a lawsuit. read more

Menards you really should support the military like Lowe's and you would get more business. I have however, continued to drop some bucks at your store frequently. I like the lighting and electrical options you have. I also like that you have pool supplies. Most employees are friendly enough but the customer service counter could shake out some bad attitudes. Seem to get some push back once in awhile from a few in that position for no reason. I also hate the parking lot set up as there is a big ass power tower in the middle and it creates people and car pile up so I can't just zip in and zip out without encountering some slow ass folks. read more

www.spectrumofservice.biz Landscaping companies! Do estimates in seconds vs hours! I think Menard's layout and ease of finding materials per department is better than their competition. The only thing that can be frustrating is that throughout all of the Menards stores in the twin cities, they have 3 versions or layouts of where the departments are located and on opposite ends as their other locations. The Stillwater store especially has a lot of long term employees that are experienced and truly interested in helping you with your projects. read more

In general, Menards does a good job of having most things you need for home improvement or some automotive projects. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that their outdoor lumber yard lacks organization and while wandering around it's a bit difficult to find someone willing to help find what you're looking for. read more

Never really shop at Menards! Today I decided to stop by the store located in Stillwater, MN because someone mentioned that I could find the item there. I thought I would give them a try since I always hear about their 11% discounts. Anyway, the store was nice, clean, and lots of things folks might like. I did not find the item I was looking for, but did find some things I didn't know that I needed . During checkout the girl that was helping me did not really appear to be to friendly, or should I say have good customer service. She was pretty short and to the point with the person that was in front of me. When it was my turn I said hi, and she returned the greeting, but still appeared to be annoyed that she was working. I asked if they (Menards) offered military discounts like Home Depot and Lowes. She quickly said no... I responded with that sucks (not being disrespectful, but I could have used another word I suppose). As soon as I finished my sentence she fired back with not really! I mentioned a few things about the military and our freedom and she then said what about the police, fire dept. etc. I said sure, MENARDS should offer all who protect and help the American citizens should get a discount. My first and last time to pay my hard earned money to those who don't appreciate us veterans, or like the young woman stated.... Police, fire dept., doctors, etc. If anyone from Menards reads this post or review... please get people who want to work and love customer support. Excellent!!!! This Menards by far has the best management. Manager Chris is all about customer satisfaction and it shows! The store is clean and well stocked. Employees are overall friendly and helpful. No complaints. Would recommend to anyone. read more
