My machine would only wash half cycles and then had to be manually set to a spin cycle before attempting to do another half wash (rinse) cycle and final (again Manually set) spin cycle. This was extremely annoyning and time consuming and quite impractical for a working Mom. When Sal, came out he started his inpsection, made sure to verify his diagnostics, told me how much it would cost and how long it would take to get the part in. Came this evening, moved everything out, because I failed to even realize that certain things would need out of the way. We did and it was worth the short drive from Lexington. In store service was excellent. Leslie Marcum listened to our preferences and really helped us to make a good selection. She also was the only sales person who gave us an immediate quote, before we left the shop. We also visited 3 other countertop places (in Nicholasville and in Lexington) and never received the same level of attention and help as provided by Leslie. The next step was removal of our old counters and that was also a great experience. Workers arrived at the time promised. They were neat and clean and could not have been nicer or more careful. Finally, the icing on the cake was the installation crew. They did an excellent job and at the same time were courteous and respectful. The whole process could not have been better. Our new counters are beautiful! We can see why our friends recommended Bluegrass Marble & Granite of Richmond and we are happy we did business with them.

I tried to go in to the store today the 29th due to the fact that they were closed the 27th and the 28th for thanksgiving (understandable obviously) but they are supposed to have opened at 10 am and here I am at 3 pm heartbroken by the fact the door was in fact locked... Made several calls to Nick and left a message so we could be sure of the price before we returned. It's now Friday and no return call. We ended up purchasing the same machines at Lowes. I had not noticed this when I sat on the couch in the store. I contacted the store manager immediately and as expected there was nothing he could do as do not exchange or refund any merchandise. He was indifferent as I expected. I have now spent $1,800.00 and have extremely uncomfortable furniture that I cannot replace. I could have purchased the furniture a bit cheaper but I chose Sims because it is family owned and local. Also the website states : If you're unsatisfied, we WILL make it right! The furniture is an Altari brand. So beware if you choose this brand. I blame myself for not being more observant in my choice but did feel the manager showed no concern.
