Buying a washer/dryer set combo. Online only gave 1 option to deliver and showed a date of 12/12/23. Later to find out and get the run around for it to be delivered on 12/19/23. Was told it was my fault for not understanding the day. Also I selected a manufacturer delivery. (only 1 ship option and it did not say). On the 19th at 430P.M. I received a phone call informing me that the truck broke down. Also was told would get a phone call to reschedule. Call came and now for a order I went with for the time is suppose to be delivered on 12/26/23. Have spoken with people just to shuffled away or try to blame me. Now I am hearing well we cannot control the manufacturer's delivery. read more

This happened more than 10 years ago. I purchased a pallet of pellets, for of course a pellet stove. MAKE this short. I arranged to pick up 10 12 bags at a time with my car. the register slip was supposed to be stapled to the invoice or whatever you call it., it wasn't she said look on the left upper corner you will see where the holes are for the slip, OH SHE SAYS THERE ARE NO HOLES. They never put one on. I called the corporate office ,waited twice on line more then 30 minutes the second time, I was hung up on. I lost over $125.00 and I liked the store. I only buy items on sale now for over 10 years. I need a new STOVE and FRIDGE WILL SHOP ELSEWHERE FOR THOSE BIG TICKET ITEMS. Even with the big 11% off and by the way you need to send it out right away least you forget couple hundred dollars on these items plus. they have a very short time limited date. As a 30 year customer of menards in Marquette - I will never walk back into that store AGAIN. how fun is it to hire a contractor - order all supplies for a garage with siding and pay 90 bucks for delivery only to find out "UP OH" "we sold your supplies to somebody else" we cannot refill your items for another 10 days" of course pieces of our order were delivered - don't have enough to start the job though ITS SO FUN TO PAY $350 a day for a contractor from out of the area to sit on our deck waiting for supplies to do the job - which ain't gonna happen for 10 days - and now he won't be able to finish the job once we do get the necessary lumber/ siding and j channels as he was booked all summer AND THE MOST EXCITING NEWS EVER - THE GARAGE DOOR HAS BROKEN WINDOW - SURE THEY CAN REORDER - WE WILL GET IT 18 DAYS .................. don't worry if you expect to get the delivery free because now in 10 days you get to pay another 90 bucks for the pieces missing - FORGET ABOUT IT - "they can't do that" did a manager ever reach out to us -...no did anybody even apologize for costing us 2k and a half built garage and the end - NOPE sure we built our house only using 'MENARDS" for all supplies and I can tell you we have been a exceptional customer for these folks you may even ask yourself why didn't they hurry to set aside the stuff at the Escanaba store - well they don't do that and when we tried - oops they just sold out too truly yours Anne rector (and thanks for nothing you idiots) read more

Menard's store in Marquette is like any other in the state. It's one of the chain of home improvement stores. Employees that I talked with were pleasant. read more

Their policy for buying lumber the going to the front to pay then driving around only to try to find it because no is back there to help you then loading it yourself then waiting in line at the " make sure you don't steal anything check out is the worst policy I have seen at a store. Thanks once again for ZERO customer service! Lost our business and we are building a new home. Already spent too much money here. We're shopping for doors and of course we were not even acknowledged. Asked about the military discount and were told there was none! We are now leaving to go to Home Depot to give them our business! read more
