Someone came out and measured, but no one ever followed up with the pricing and next steps. Then we tried to get carpet for our bedrooms. Had an appointment set for August 20th between 8-12:00 for measurements. No one ever came. We called our local store (Flooring Department) and they said they would call us back within 15 minutes. We never heard back from them. We called them today and all we got was the run around. We told them forget it because we purchased our flooring through Northwest Flooring in Lima, Ohio. This is not exactly a sexy company, as a manufacturer that is best known for its drip pans and…read morebroiler pans for stoves and ovens. But it is an outstanding company producing well-made products that can improve your quality of life, sold for a reasonable price. I use the drip pans manufactured by Range Kleen, for my gas stove. They have a 1-year guarantee, but they are well made and I think this guarantee is unnecessary...they will last far longer. They save time on cleaning the stove...instead of difficult, time-consuming scrubbing, I can pop the pans out periodically and clean them very quickly, then put them back. They are attractive and make my stove look classier and fancier than it would without the drip pans. Futhermore, these pans are manufactured in the USA. I'm very grateful for this company and its products. It may not be the most high-profile company but I want to share with others that I think this is one company that is doing its part to improve people's quality-of-life by doing honest business, selling high-quality American-made goods at reasonable prices.

Dillin was able to fix our water leak on a Frigidaire refrigerator that another repair service did…read morenot fix for the previous owner at a cost of over $500.00. Dillin diagnosed the problem accurately as a poorly insulated ice maker. He had to make two trips as he needed to order some new parts. As it turned out, the supplier sent the wrong parts but Dillin was able to go ahead and insulate the issue, apparently properly, without using the new parts. He took the time needed to correctly diagnose the problem and did not charge for the wrong parts but effected a solution that solved the problem. He charged less than 1/5 of what the other service charged just to hang parts and depart. Dillin is credit to his profession!

He called later Monday and said he could squeeze us in. He came by and diagnosed the problem in a matter of minutes after listening to what I told him and listening to the appliance. He ordered the part and called on Tuesday to repair the fridge. He was fast, efficient, knowledgeable, and his services were more that reasonable. I would suggest anyone that has a problem call A-1 Appliance Repair!

The hold music for the company sets up all these things that will happen to make the service smooth, but they didn't actually happen. We paid in full for all parts/service, but it took a month and three service visits and a cancelled appointment to get done. We freaked out about being out a lot of money and never knowing of it would actually get fixed. Lots of trips to the laundromat...hoping that things would be okay and we wouldn't need to dispute the credit card charges. Never again.

She seemed friendly and made conversation by asking where we were from, etc. After a minute or two of conversation, my husband asked if he could please use the restroom. The lady said they did not have a public restroom. There wasn't even a place nearby to go and use the restroom elsewhere. Also, we were the only ones in the store so it's not like anyone else would have overheard. My husband and I own and operate a business ourselves so we fully understand not wanting to maintain and clean bathroom facilities for the public's use. However, after being turned away from using the restroom we decided to leave immediately as we certainly weren't going to shop while needing to use the restroom, much less spend money at a store that didn't grant access to a restroom for people about to spend a nice amount of money at their store. No thanks, we'll go elsewhere. What a shame as I had already seen an item for $22.99 that I was going to purchase for sure and I am certain we would have spent quite a bit more because we were really liking what we were seeing. Perhaps this business needs to rethink their "public restroom policy". Looked like great items and good prices but we don't shop where we aren't treated and respected like human beings. Most businesses want their customers to stay and be comfortable but not this one. Even if the lady would have stated that the restroom was for customers only, I would have told her about the $22.99 item I already knew that I wanted. Oh well, we're off to spend our money somewhere else now.
