    My future happiness!

Marione is amazing designing my cabinets and knows his job inside and out! We feel so lucky he was here to design our kitchen for us. Thank you!

Did a morning run to Menards, looking for some raised bed boxes and some tomato plants. Here's the result. Great plants and prices.

Every year about this time, I make a run to Menards for something else to fill in some places in my garden. Found these white metal tubs that could be used for plants or drinks. Nice selection of vegetables for planting. Got some tomatoes and squash. Always impressed with the quality of their plants. Should be a great addition to my garden. And the price was good too. Happy gardening.

Absolutely love this place. They have a great selection of home improvement items and the prices are great. I always enjoy going through the outdoor section that is in the middle of the store. I once found kayaks at a really good price. Check out when they have 11% rebate going on, which is pretty often. It's free money so definitely take the time to fill out the short slip. I come here about 3 times a week.

This place is AMAZING! If they don't have it, you probably don't need it. Walking in the door we saw chain saws, bikes and grills. As we walked further into the building, the size hit you. This place is massive. One over sized poll barn with everything from old style 3 penny nails to small far equipment, washer/driers, rabbit food, pillows for your bed and pillows for your dog's bed. I will say the item we were pricing, 8" cedar fencing sections were 40% higher than Home Depot, but unlike Home Depot, they had them in stock. The moral of the story; if you need an item, they probably have it. However, if you have a little time, shop around and you will probably save money.

UPDATE FOR THE INSTALLED SALES HANDLED OUT OF THIS STORE…read more Bottom Line: Find another source if possible. https://www.complaintsboard.com/lowes-summit-installation-service-that-you-contract-with-horrible-c1449595 Used to be good with accountability to the customer now broken it seems from top down. Maybe new EVP Home Services will be able to right this badly listing ship. Lowe's own customer facing staff acknowledge the issues. Poor value due to loss of acknowledgement of the component of customer experience--often what happens when business school theory meets reality. Eight months into a simple project and Lowe's is still "working on it." No installer accountability. Another source and accurate given our experience: Lowe's home installation service frequently leaves customers frustrated primarily because the company outsources nearly all installation work to third-party contractors. Based on aggregated customer reports, several core factors contribute to these systemic failures: 1. Contractor Dependence Lowe's does not maintain a dedicated, in-house installation workforce for most products. Instead, orders are fulfilled by independent companies. These contractors operate semi-autonomously, leading to weak alignment with Lowe's customer service standards. Customer expectations of accountability are often unmet because contractors may prioritize their internal scheduling and profit over Lowe's policies or timelines. 2. Scheduling and Communication Breakdowns Many complaints cite repeated appointment rescheduling without notice, missed installation windows, and lack of proactive communication. Contractors sometimes fail to coordinate properly with customers or with Lowe's for order details, product availability, and site requirements, causing multi-week or multi-month delays. 3. Inconsistent Installer Competence Reviews frequently report unqualified or poorly trained installers, resulting in errors like: Incorrect measurements, Damaged products during installation, Requirement for structural changes (e.g., stucco handling, frame modifications). Because multiple installers may handle a single project sequentially, there is no continuity of accountability, leading to compounded delays and mistakes. 4. Fragmented Accountability Lowe's retains responsibility for product sales, but contractors handle site execution. Customers often receive conflicting guidance between Lowe's and the contracted company, making resolution slow or impossible. Executive and store-level interventions rarely resolve disputes effectively, as contractors may ignore directions or provide only minimal remediation. 5. Operational and Systemic Pressures Outsourcing is intended to reduce overhead costs, avoid large in-house labor commitments, and scale quickly across regions. The trade-off is that operational control over installation quality, timing, and customer service is lost. Third-party labor firms may be understaffed in certain areas, overbooked, or motivated by speed rather than customer satisfaction. Multiple examples report years-long delays, repeated reschedulings, and incompatible products failing inspection or being improperly fitted. Cases describe poor communication, lost payments, and contractors disregarding customer schedules. Lowe's installation service is severely challenged because the company's model outsources critical operational responsibilities to third parties without sufficient oversight, training, or incentive alignment. The combination of contractor independence, inconsistent skills, poor communication, and fragmented accountability results in the chronic delays, errors, and customer dissatisfaction widely reported. The root cause of Lowe's home installation issues is structural: relying on third-party contractors decouples installation quality from Lowe's control, creating systemic failures in scheduling, execution, and customer service. This suggests that without significant redesign of the outsourcing model or stricter oversight, inefficiencies and negative customer experiences will likely persist.
