I have never had better customer service. They make you feel like family here. I stayed here for two weeks and absolutely loved it and especially Mrs Denni. I would have coffee in the hot tub in the morning (which is luxurious) and watch the chickadees land on plants around the pool. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are comfortable. Also, they have high quality sheets. I highly recommend this retreat. I did not use the game room but will if I return!

Stayed here a couple times for work, last week and again this week. Place is amazing. It rain both stays so unable to enjoy the pool. Has many amenities, pool tables, tv even has a entertainment room off the pool if you wanna stay up late. Bed are one of the most comfortable I have slept in, and I sleep in a lot of hotels for work. Not one room is the same, furniture is different, rooms that connect rooms with second beds for kids to accommodate all types of guests. My wife and I would like to come back for a weekend sometime and each a few days. Most important the staff is super nice and friendly.

This place is better than awesome!!! Pleasant owners that urge you to make yourself at home, truly wonderful people! They have a grill, clubhouse, pool, and fishing boats for guests to use. The continental breakfast is small but very nice. It's a private room with Bed & Breakfast hospitality! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Okay. I took this pic when I was climbing into bed. The bed was SO comfy. Rooms are huge. We felt right at home

My daughter chose Dreamland Vacation Resort as a last-minute trip for her 18th birthday celebration…read morewith her friends. She wanted some time away in a quiet outdoorsy environment. When she discovered the themed property, it caught her eye. We arrive late in the evening as we were coming off of a full day of work for myself and school for my daughter and her friends. We were also concerned about the possibility of severe weather forecasted in our area(DFW, TX). Mrs. Rosie stayed in contact with me through messaging on the Airbnb website, and kept me abreast of local weather. She also made me aware of local attractions that would be available to us when we arrived. She stayed up to greet us when we arrived (after 10 p.m.) Upon arrival she had the heat on the wood stoves burning to make our cabin toasty and warm. There were towels, household supplies and amenities available for our ease and comfort. Back to Africa is a unique design that encompasses four cabins (or sleep areas), two toilets, and two shower areas, and a common kitchen. Although it is a completely enclosed& it's designed to reflect and outdoor environment. Because the weather had been particularly cold she offered to upgrade us, but all was well and there was no need to upgrade. The beds were very comfortable well-appointed with plenty of pillows. The shower and bathroom and kitchen had all the needed supplies, just like home. On the second day of our stay Mrs. Rosie escorted me around on a complete tour of the property. She shared the history of the property which was originally a vision of her husband (who has passed on). A few years following his death she took it upon herself to complete the vision fulfilling the promise she made to him. Adding new elements of themed cabins created an additional flair. One of the standout of the cabins are the beautifully painted murals on the walls that represent the themes. The property also have animals a buffalo named Buffy, a goat believe her name is Carly and I don't remember the dear donkey's name. We had the opportunity to hand feed them. There are canoes, a paddle boat and fishing supplies for the water activity enthusiast. There were also some bikes available that one of our guys had to give a little bit of an assist to get them up and rolling, which worked out famously. Our tour concluded at Catfish-Rosewood Manor; which I like to think of as the healing/spa cabin of the resort. It features 3 bedrooms, laundry facilities full kitchen. There is a therapy pool, sauna, hot tub, deck for fishing or entertaining, and facilities for barbecuing and cooking right off the deck area. There is additional sleeping in the therapy pool room area (with laundry facilities and a shower), and in a room off the deck area. However, the best thing about this cabin is that it is fully accessible; allowing access to a lovely outdoor experience for those who may be limited by mobility Mrs. Rosie is the most gracious and generous woman; very kind very loving. You could not find I a more genuine and reliable individual. Every request I had, she went out of her way to meet it (within her ability) and her attentiveness made us feel very welcomed.

We rode our motorcycle down and checked in at 1030 at night. When we got to the room, the door was…read morewide open and the beds had no linens. They said the housekeeper walked out that day, but no one ever finished the room or closed the doors. They came and made the bed and let us go in. The room didn't feel clean, and after being a paramedic for years and going into nasty homes, I decided to check things out. I pulled the mattress back that they had JUST MADE and found remnants of blood spots and waste on the edges of the box springs. I knew it was from bed bugs, but trying to be optimistic I kept looking to see if I was wrong. Nope, the further I looked the more I found and then bam, right on the seams I found young and mature bed bugs still alive and moving. We immediately packed our stuff and went to tell them we were leaving to go across the street to Sun Country Inn (definitely recommend that place) and they weren't even surprised, they acted like it was normal and supposed to be acceptable and rudely told us "well you know there are no refunds, right?" I will NEVER stay here again and you shouldn't either.

This place is a nightmare. There is a sign posted at the front door that reads, "Absolutely no…read morerefunds". This should have been a red flag but my husband and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. What should have been posted under that sign was one that read, " Stay at your own risk!". The first night we discovered the room was infested with cockroaches. The moldy smell of the room should have been a warning. We notified the front desk and the hotel clerk walked with us to THREE other rooms before we found one without evidence of cockroaches. The rooms all had the same heavy, moldy smell. We awoke, on the second morning, to find BEDBUGS crawling across the pillows and after tearing off the bottom sheet, discovered blood spots everywhere! Sure enough, we were both covered in bites. UGH!! We took the evidence to the front desk and checked out of the hotel. We had payed for 5 nights in advance and asked to be refunded for the two nights that we were not using. We were assured that "management" (and I use that term VERY loosely) would get back to us. Of course they did not. After repeated attempts to reach somebody who could help, I was told today by someone in "management" that the mysterious man in charge was only able to offer us a free night in one of those vermin infested rooms. It was almost comical until I glanced at the ferocious red bites in a ring all around my neck. In fact, the silly woman I spoke with today, said that she found no bedbugs in the room when she looked at it. WARNING: Stay away from this place. It is not worth the risk.
