It is very clean. You can really tell that it is taken care of. There are 2 cute bedrooms! Perfect for a family of 4, or 2 couples! We stayed in the bedroom upstairs. It is a loft with a gorgeous view to your left and right! There's a balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee. No matter where you are, you have an amazing view in this cabin. We brought sausages and steaks for dinner the two nights we stayed! There is a microwave, an oven and stove top. You can cook up a gourmet meal if you'd like! They have utensils, dishes and bowls. Pretty much everything you'd need. We had a fire going the whole time here! Never ran out of firewood. This was such a treat. If you are wanting to bring your pups, this is a pet friendly cabin! It's $25 a night per dog (2 dogs max). Worth it to bring them as they are family too! If they have an opening, take it! This is a great spot you don't want to miss out on!

We didn't get to canoe because the Caddo was too low! But we drove to Mt. Ida, did a little exploring then went back to our cabin! The cabin was clean and was just right for 2 people! So peaceful and so close to nature! Can't wait to go back!

They have 4 different themed cabins, 2 for pets and 2 for no pets. They are spaced far enough apart to give you your own room and not be elbow to elbow with your neighbors. There is also a large double-wide trailer that's called THE LODGE for larger groups. It has a large yard and is farther from the other cabins. There's a small creek that runs in front of the cabins. It was bubbling and all and if you come during the cooler months it'd be great to sleep with the windows up to fall asleep to. They come with satellite tv, pots, pans, dishes etc and sheets and towels. Unfortunately because of the covid we had to bring our own sheets & towels but that's no biggy. They also provide limited toiletries (soap, hand soap, dish soap, etc). There's chairs for the porch, a grill and fire ring and a picnic table to use. The cabin was nicely furnished and decorated with the LOVE theme. We had a queen size bed. It was way too hard for me but my wife slept fine. Not sure about anybody else but we had ZERO cell service there. There are also lots of dead zones in that area (at least for our carrier). It was VERY PEACEFUL AND QUIET!!!!!! Nobody running up and down halls or slamming doors off their hinges. We were told their were some atv trails close by but we didn't do that this time. There's many different options fairly close by and I would highly recommend the scenic loop that runs from Mena on into Oklahoma. I think it's about 55 miles long. If you're looking for a nice, quiet place to stay I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND AT LIVING WATER CABINS!!!!

My daughter chose Dreamland Vacation Resort as a last-minute trip for her 18th birthday celebration…read morewith her friends. She wanted some time away in a quiet outdoorsy environment. When she discovered the themed property, it caught her eye. We arrive late in the evening as we were coming off of a full day of work for myself and school for my daughter and her friends. We were also concerned about the possibility of severe weather forecasted in our area(DFW, TX). Mrs. Rosie stayed in contact with me through messaging on the Airbnb website, and kept me abreast of local weather. She also made me aware of local attractions that would be available to us when we arrived. She stayed up to greet us when we arrived (after 10 p.m.) Upon arrival she had the heat on the wood stoves burning to make our cabin toasty and warm. There were towels, household supplies and amenities available for our ease and comfort. Back to Africa is a unique design that encompasses four cabins (or sleep areas), two toilets, and two shower areas, and a common kitchen. Although it is a completely enclosed& it's designed to reflect and outdoor environment. Because the weather had been particularly cold she offered to upgrade us, but all was well and there was no need to upgrade. The beds were very comfortable well-appointed with plenty of pillows. The shower and bathroom and kitchen had all the needed supplies, just like home. On the second day of our stay Mrs. Rosie escorted me around on a complete tour of the property. She shared the history of the property which was originally a vision of her husband (who has passed on). A few years following his death she took it upon herself to complete the vision fulfilling the promise she made to him. Adding new elements of themed cabins created an additional flair. One of the standout of the cabins are the beautifully painted murals on the walls that represent the themes. The property also have animals a buffalo named Buffy, a goat believe her name is Carly and I don't remember the dear donkey's name. We had the opportunity to hand feed them. There are canoes, a paddle boat and fishing supplies for the water activity enthusiast. There were also some bikes available that one of our guys had to give a little bit of an assist to get them up and rolling, which worked out famously. Our tour concluded at Catfish-Rosewood Manor; which I like to think of as the healing/spa cabin of the resort. It features 3 bedrooms, laundry facilities full kitchen. There is a therapy pool, sauna, hot tub, deck for fishing or entertaining, and facilities for barbecuing and cooking right off the deck area. There is additional sleeping in the therapy pool room area (with laundry facilities and a shower), and in a room off the deck area. However, the best thing about this cabin is that it is fully accessible; allowing access to a lovely outdoor experience for those who may be limited by mobility Mrs. Rosie is the most gracious and generous woman; very kind very loving. You could not find I a more genuine and reliable individual. Every request I had, she went out of her way to meet it (within her ability) and her attentiveness made us feel very welcomed.

LOVE Riverview Cabins & Canoes!…read more Hubby & I do a weekend get away to the Arkansas mountains at least once a year & this last time we decided to stay here! We have stayed many places & we usually stay at Petit Jean but we decided to check out Riverview Cabins & Canoes & it turned out to be the best trip to the Arkansas mountains we have ever had. We rented the small cabin for 2 with the hot tub. It was so adorable! The bed was super comfy & the hot tub was amazballs. It was perfect for 2, very romantic & had everything we needed. The first night it rained & we hung out & made veal meatballs. So yummy! We loved the little gas stove & the giant shower. There was also a cute little fireplace & bear rug! So adorable. The hiking in the woods was cool, the canoeing & river was beautiful & the riding stables were well kept. The whole property was very nice. All the Cabins were picture perfect. There are a couple different canoeing trips you can take & you can hike & ride the trails. There is a little town near by you can go have lunch too, we checked that out, it was very cool with some very cool old buildings & a couple fun lunch spots. It is out in BFE, Walmart, grocery stores & liquor stores are like an hours drive away so bring everything you need b4 you get there. The lady that works the check in was very sweet & very kind to us. The clocks sprang forward (daylight saving time) & we overslept the last day bc our bed was that comfy! I called her & she was very cool about it & gave us an extra hour to check out. That was almost 3 months ago & we are still talking about what a great time we had there :)) We can't wait to go back! Highly highly recommend.

The management told us the right before we arrived that we did not have access to the washer and dryer. When we arrived, we also had NO cell service and no wifi was offered as well. The only "entertainment" offered was 2 puzzles and a few movies along with their small TV. When we first arrived, a big roach that the management claims to be a "native beetle" was happily roaming across the kitchen cabinet. When we went outside, the deck was infested with a large nest of red wasps with no bug spray provided, just 3 fly swatters. When I went to step in bed, I actually stepped on a dead wasp. When my husband laid his head down to go to sleep, a nice roach greeted him across his night stand. Not to mention, he was doing a puzzle and a roach flew onto the puzzle. While we were sitting in the living area watching the cob webs flow from the shaking ceiling fan, we noticed one of the beams is crooked and the supporting beams are not even attached. Safety hazard much? On top of all the bugs, we got to enjoy the heat of the cabin! The sun managed to shine through the filthy, cracked windows. We could not even sleep upstairs because it was unbearably hot. We were forced to sleep on the couch and it was still hot. There were small hair balls attached to the couch and rug. The water pressure in the showers is awful. We will definitely be taking our money elsewhere. There are plenty other of nice cabins that are even more affordable. This cabin was a waste of money and a complete disappointment. Yikes!
