They have 4 different themed cabins, 2 for pets and 2 for no pets. They are spaced far enough apart to give you your own room and not be elbow to elbow with your neighbors. There is also a large double-wide trailer that's called THE LODGE for larger groups. It has a large yard and is farther from the other cabins. There's a small creek that runs in front of the cabins. It was bubbling and all and if you come during the cooler months it'd be great to sleep with the windows up to fall asleep to. They come with satellite tv, pots, pans, dishes etc and sheets and towels. Unfortunately because of the covid we had to bring our own sheets & towels but that's no biggy. They also provide limited toiletries (soap, hand soap, dish soap, etc). There's chairs for the porch, a grill and fire ring and a picnic table to use. The cabin was nicely furnished and decorated with the LOVE theme. We had a queen size bed. It was way too hard for me but my wife slept fine. Not sure about anybody else but we had ZERO cell service there. There are also lots of dead zones in that area (at least for our carrier). It was VERY PEACEFUL AND QUIET!!!!!! Nobody running up and down halls or slamming doors off their hinges. We were told their were some atv trails close by but we didn't do that this time. There's many different options fairly close by and I would highly recommend the scenic loop that runs from Mena on into Oklahoma. I think it's about 55 miles long. If you're looking for a nice, quiet place to stay I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND AT LIVING WATER CABINS!!!!

We stayed in Romantic Creek Cabin and it was super secluded. The bed is ridiculously comfortable and makes you want to never get up. The hot tub was great as was the outdoor shower located next to it. Large screened in porch with full size bed swing it comfortable although being August we didn't use it much because it was a bit humid outside. Check in and check out is super easy. The negatives: little to no cell service. We were able to make and receive cell calls but no reliable data service. Which only mattered because of checking in with our kiddos. Otherwise, unplugging is kind of the point right? One night we decided to stay in and just watch a movie on tv. The tv and sat service/ Blu-ray is great but being that there is only a tv in the living room it was mildly disappointing. The shower in the room has great water pressure. Maybe too great. Ha. The non adjustable shower head type combined with the pressure made for a shower that fired a little too hard for our taste. But the amazing waterfall outdoor shower makes up for that. No wifi That's really the only negatives and they aren't really negatives as much as things you just need to be aware of ahead of time. This place was amazing and we will definitely be back!

The first time we stayed I talked to Mike about how I liked sunflowers the next time we stayed the same cabin now had a couple sunflower decorations and some sunflowers on the table. And each time we've stayed I got a rose after the first time saying I like the roses and Mike gave me one. It's nice to see they remember us. Both Mike and Carolyn are very friendly and great to talk to. I could definitely recommend anyone to stay here!

A little creepy at first because it was next to the cemetery, but honestly that did nothing to detract from the overall amazingness this place had! A lovely kitchen (with pots and pans and a lot of utensils that we needed! Missing cooking knives, but not a big problem.) We were able to make a great breakfast and dinner! Everyone had their own room which were great! The beds weren't luxurious by any means, but everything was very clean and for sure felt warm and welcoming! If the fishing had been good, we would have cooked using the charcoal grill and coals/wood chips that had been provided. The cottage is placed in between all the major mountain bike and hiking trails. Nothing more than a 20 minute drive from town. Alan was great. A little slow to call back. He was polite on the phone, so we didn't end up seeing him. The condition of the cottage shows how much he takes pride in his lodgings. I seriously recommend this place. Cabins are set in the foot of the mountains with a fantastic view. They have everything set up for a wonderful stay. The owners take time to make sure your stay in wonderful. They give tips on eating places, where to ride ATV and OHV plus ask if anything would make your stay better. If there was a 10 on the scale it would get my vote. Quite and great beds to sleep in. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. All you need to bring is food and clothes. Came here for a much needed rest and ride on the side by side. The owners here are first class. They make your stay absolutely fantastic. We left some stuff here after the last visit and they brought it to us. Truly great folks. You will not be disappointed with a stay in any of the cottages. Look at the stars at night and cook on the grill. Go with an open mind to relax and get away. We came at Labor Day to get away for 4 days, Michael and his family run a first class place. Left a few items last visit and they were still at his garage in Lost and Found. We rode Wolf Pen Gap a few days even in the rain. Rode some just opened trails. Great time here.

The owners were communicative, helpful and available from the time I inquired about their property until the day we checked out. Every effort was made to ensure our comfort. No detail was forgotten. We were very comfortable, especially at bed time. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! Although we were in the woods, we felt safe at all times. The owners were close by as well. The location was far enough away from town but not so far that it was inconvenient to drive and pick something up or go eat. It was so nice to have a designated fire pit right off the house. The grounds were immaculate and full of beautiful sights and sounds. Our first night in, we pulled up and there were 5 deer right in front of our cottage. Just down the long drive, there's a picturesque babbling brook that runs along side the cottage. I could have sat there the entire week and been happy. We will be back with our family to enjoy Arkansas at Stonehill Cottages. I highly recommend these cottages to anyone wanting a beautiful getaway. We went ATV'ing and had the time off our lives. Oh, it was too cold for us, but there's a beautiful lake on the property for fishing and paddle boating. Theres also a small waterfall and swimming hole. Next time...
