I previously stopped into a local grocery store to purchase a balloon, but didn't get any service despite being in the department for 10 minutes. I decided to take my business elsewhere and knew I needed to stop into Party Adventure in downtown SCS. Parking is located in the back. I walked in and was immediately greeted by two kind individuals, who let me peruse and admire all the balloons and various party items. I walked out with a large Mylar balloon and a garden flag for $14. Prices were great and I loved being able to support a local spot. Will definitely be making it a habit of stopping in. With so many options, you'll definitely find something you like too.

There was a disco ball hanging from the ceiling, feather boas, dog toys, craft supplies and an amalgam of products that were thrown together without rhyme or reason. There were dollar store type items, but I didn't actually find anything for a dollar. Most items were $2.00 and way up. There was nothing that struck me as a really great deal. In a store like this, I would expect a good deal. Product was packed into every conceivable spot and extended up to the ceiling in many instances, making many things inaccessible. If you want to pay regular price, you can always shop at a regular department store. I'm visiting Dad and he took me here. He said I could find anything I was looking for here. He may be right. I found the envelopes I wanted. The store is still overwhelming though. They need a much bigger space. Staff was friendly enough, even if one struggled with the tax math a little.
