I was first referred to Lendermon Sports Medicine by someone who Dr. Lendermon had been able to resolve help with a leg injury without surgery. She was able to do the same thing for me with a knee injury - a brace instead of the surgery recommended by a well-known local orthopedic firm. Since then, she has helped with a fractured foot, finding damage another doctor missed and helping to treat it appropriately, as well as hamstring issues. Each time, she is knowledgeable and genuinely caring. Sometimes the wait can be a little bit, as with all doctors, but she takes the time with each patient to make sure she gets it right. On 10/14/2024 at 2 PM, I had sharp…read morechest pains and was rushed to Methodist North Hospital from Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of North Memphis. I left Encompass in just a spaghetti strap shirt, shorts, socks, and a blanket. Methodist did a series of tests and discharged me back to Encompass care. When I got back, I was told I had been discharged because I didn't make it back before midnight. I had been under Encompass care since October 3rd, and even though I rang my therapy bell on October 11th, I was kept there due to my high heart rate. There was no communication about any cut-off time when I was rushed to the hospital. I was given two options: wait to be readmitted in the morning or come get my belongings. So, at 1 AM, in the same clothes I left in, I had to retrieve my belongings. It was so unfair and distressing. I cried, begged, and pleaded for this issue to be resolved immediately as I was under their care. It's really disheartening to write this, especially after speaking so highly of the facility and staff. The ball was definitely dropped, and I hope no one else has to go through this.

This was the most horrible experience I've had with any medical facility in the entire United States. Out the gate the lady who was making the appointment with me had a really abrupt and unsavory attitude. I didn't pay much STEED. I received several texts with appointment reminders and the address that was in the text was for 7400 US Highway 74. Come the day of my appointment, I left in plenty of time only to discover that there is two 7400 Highway 64. No paperwork was ever sent to me confirming the address. All I had was a text. I arrived at a urgent care center and when I rang up again, I had the same receptionist who said I was at the wrong location which I already knew, she gave me a ZIP Code to allegedly would bring me to the correct location of the clinic. That ZIP Code took me to a business that was in industrial area. When I rang her up again, the same receptionist had an attitude and was all up in her feelings about me being upset. At this point I had been driving 1 1/2 hours and use a quarter of a tank of gas to not even get to the appointment. The practice manager had a similar negative attitude and was more concerned that I might have been a brat to her rude and disrespectful employee. I highly recommend if you want a professional medical facility look elsewhere. I never even saw the doctor. I'm sure that he may or may not be competent, but certainly his back office staff leave a lot to be desired.

This knee was dislocated last year so the Dr. Should have been aware of my history. I came in with blood pressure 158/91. I asked if it may be due to poor circulation in that knee but they told me to wait to hear from the Dr. First, he tried to tell me my dislocation happened to my right knee based off their reports. The reports were incorrect. It was my left. They only did an x-ray... that only gets the skeletal... not tissue, possible blood clots, etc. He doesn't see anything wrong he just felt it was inflammation. He recommended two things that will make my blood pressure highER. I asked him which is best because my BP was high already. He responded as if he didn't read any of my vitals before coming in. Needless to say, I'm in the ER . Great front desk. Not so sure about the Doctors. I hope they realize that you think you can have people constantly coming to you that invoice/income doing patch work... not me... if I'm not confident in your practice, I'm gone.

About 45 minutes before my appointment I get a call cancelling because my medication isn't there. I told them I used a specialty pharmacy at my first visit but somehow they did not pay attention to that. I had already arrived at 11:45 for 12 noon appointment and assistant was already at lunch. I am a medical provider myself and would never do this or be so unprofessional. I am hoping they can be more professional in the future.
