Not sure where to even start. Henry was excellent from start to finish. I called to ask about getting a memorial piece done for my little guy as we lost him a few weeks back. This was my first tattoo, so I did days worth of research. Henry explained the entire process to include the memorial service he does at the shop before opening the ashes and adding them to the ink. This was huge for my wife and I as our little guy meant the world to us. The Vet gave us his ashes on a Friday, I called Henry that Saturday and my piece was completed on Wednesday. He sat with us and designed the entire thing, gave us various printed sizes to choose from and then treated us like family the entire time. I could not be happier with my piece! Thank you so much Henry, you made this an awesome experience even though we were still grieving. Now I feel like my little guy can rest with me for eternity.
I was looking for an artist to capture a memory of my father that passed and saw Henry's work and I had to have him do my father's portrait. Henry did an amazing job capturing the most amazing identical tattoo of him I am so speechless! Henry is also very gentle and soft handed the pain level was very tolerable. Henry also makes great jokes and puts on the best shows on Netflix during the tattoo session. He makes you feel comfortable and feel right at home! The tattoo session was very fun and he made the experience very memorable! I highly recommend Henry for your portrait tattoos. Now I have a wonderful photo of my dad forever with me. Thanks Henry!
Me and a friend wanted Friday the 13th tattoos and searched good old Yelp! I am so glad I did! The reviews were stellar so popped in and Henry lived up to the hype! Friendly! Funny! Zero judgement! I brought in my own idea for one of my tattoos and he drew it out for me - killed it! Thank you!!!!
Henry is the best. I wanted my daughters name in small dainty cursive writing and that is exactly what I got. He is clean, professional, and does beautiful work. Really cool shop too!

Henry is the most honest thoughtful straight up artist I have ever met. I came in to get two words tattooed on me one on each wrist. After he looked at saw I had an anchor on one wrist and nothing on the other. He told me we need to balance this.. Had my daughter draw a heart with a smile face In it. That is now my favorite. I will definitely be back for all my work.

Wow, so many great things to say about my experience!! I've been wanting to do something with the first tattoo I had ever gotten because it was pretty plain and flat, and I had been shopping around trying to find an artist that could either salvage it or cover it up completely. Not a lot of people I spoke to were very optimistic because it was so dark and blocky, but when I got in touch with Henry he immediately told me that I could come in for a free consultation so he could discuss some of his ideas with me! And he even moved his schedule around too so that I could see him asap! His studio has such an incredibly cozy, laid-back vibe. Like the type of place where you can just go and hang out at. And yes, the hours you're seeing on this page are correct--you really can go there as late as 3am on weekends lol. Just like the studio, Henry himself is also super chill and laid back, and never made me feel pressured for time or overly ambitious/dumb for wanting to turn my flat dark tattoo into something more dainty (unlike other artists I had spoken to.) With how picky I am, I honestly thought we would be mulling over it for hours. But wow, I am amazed with Henry's vision. When he showed me the first thing he came up with, I was immediately like, "YES. THAT LOOKS AMAZING." I loved it so much that even though it was just supposed to be a quick consultation, I was like, "uhh any chance we can get it done right now?" And he was like, "Yeah sure!!!" OMG. I was thrilled lol. And the process itself was a breeze! He's super easy to chat with, he had some great music playing, the entire experience was completely comfortable and painless (so much so that I hella knocked out, like drool and everything, which I've never done before while getting tatted lol), and of course, the end product turned out absolutely STUNNING. I am soooo so thrilled with how well he turned my boring old piece into something so elegant and gorgeous. Everything is perfect--the artistry, shading, the fine lines! I've got another tattoo that I also want to get fixed, and I'll def be going back to Henry!! So if you're ever in need of a cool, chill, talented artist with a fantastic vision and great attention to detail, go hit up Henry right now!! Thanks again, Henry!! Amazing experience at Memory Lane Tattoo! I came in as a walk-in and he took great care of me from start to finish. He was super welcoming, professional, and made the whole process easy. He absolutely killed the tattoo and made sure I was happy with the placement and details before starting. The shop was clean, the atmosphere was great, and I never felt rushed. Super last minute but got us on a walk in and was super chill and soooo nice it was awesome. This was my first tattoo and it was my foot (the most painful spot allegedly) and i was horrified but Henry was super gentle and it turned out so pretty exactly how I wanted it. read more

Henry is amazing. I told him what I wanted and he created a beautiful work of art that means so much to me! He drew this all by hand. Do you do memorial tattoos with cremation ashes?
Yes we do. Have done several. We do a little ceremony too when adding the ashes and you get to take the ink with you after to wash away in the ocean nearby so we don’t have to throw any leftover remains into the trash.
