It was around 7:45pm on Saturday, May 2, 2026 when I (Asian customer) stopped in to purchase a WiFi…read moremodem. It was not busy and there were about 3-4 younger guys (different races) standing around talking. It was about 3-4 minutes until a taller man (Caucasian) who greeted me and asked if I had some questions about a WiFi modem. I told him I did and (on his headset) asked if someone could help me out (since he was in the middle of helping a customer). No one came and the 3-4 younger guys were still gathered around talking. When I was within 6 feet of them, they all saw me, but instead of asking me if I needed any help, they asked the Caucasian customer who was leaving if he needed any help. I had the intention of buying a WiFi modem, but they refused service to me and I felt so belittled that I was about to leave. Luckily, the taller man - who just got done assisting a customer - came back and approached me and answered all of my questions. Because of his help, I ended up purchasing the WiFi modem. BTW, there was another Asian customer who did not receive any help, but luckily the taller man acknowledged the customer and helped him outs. Unfortunately I did not catch the taller man's name. I had to write this review because I believe this was a case of blatant discrimination based on my race and the way I looked, especially when they clearly saw me (because I made eye contact with them) and they refused to help me, but acknowledged the Caucasian customer who was leaving. I should have asked for the taller man's name because he was so helpful (5 stars for him) but because the blatant discrimination, I'm giving 1 star.

I bought a new computer the $799 gaming power spec. I had some issues with it, the windows didn't install right, then I had a startup repair I had to do... not what you're looking for 2 weeks into a new computer. That being said... I brought it back, I didn't have the box, they exchanged it quickly with no hassle, they even made sure I didn't have to wait in line again. When I brought back the computer for return, I accidentally included the DPI cable and HDMI cable from the monitor I had also purchased. I called their customer service line, their centralized support answered very fast, I told them what happened, and they placed me on a very brief hold to talk to one of the managers at the location I had been to. They did a great job. I got a call back same day 2 minutes before close at 5:58pm on a Sunday. (I had called customer service at 5:45pm that same day) If you want the best customer service around, and a wide selection, go to Micro Center. Thank you Jordan who helped me get a replacement, and cashier #5 on Sunday 7/26, and the manager who called me back so quickly letting me know they had my cables and I could pick them up. He views work as a challenge, each repair as a puzzle that must be solved. He's like the Dr. House of computer repair. I brought in a PC with an apparently dead boot drive, and left 4 hours later with a functional drive with all data restored, plus cleaned vents and new thermal paste to boot so now it runs better than ever. If you or anyone you know has computer trouble, bring it in to Moe and let him sort you out.

Sure enough the brick and mortar store is gone but Dave still runs a virtual store from the UPS store in Dana Point up the street off PCH.
