Me and my husband walked all of the trails (they're quite short) but it was such a peaceful, well kept park! The girl scouts even made a little fairy trail which is adorable. It was so quiet here and you'd never know it's right in the village! Don't follow Google Maps to the "entrance" that's right in the village. Go to the entrance that shows in the middle of a residential neighborhood. That's where the park is.

Its not necessarily a destination on its own, but if you are in the village of Hamburg its a nice place to walk through.

I had originally planned on just doing a quick lunch walk to do some bird watching but when I got there I quickly realized I'd be there longer than expected because there were so many rarer birds I had never seen and the place was so beautiful! The trail along the gorge rim was really gorgeous. Pun intended Some of the other trails inside of the woods were pretty muddy and a bit hard to follow because of the leaves, but using the alltrails app helped a lot. All of the trials were well marked too, which I really appreciated. It does seem like this place needs a bit more upkeep, but for the most part it's a really great park to walk at and it's dog friendly. All of the trails are pretty moderate and not too strenuous.

When you get there and find a parking spot, you're greeted with a rustic, barely beaten hiking trail path, a miniature trestle bridge, and a fairly spectacular waterfall! As stated, the path is rustic... as in take your hiking shoes and watch your step! The path is just a trodden walkway through the foliage; you're surrounded by green! The stream is of a decent size and makes an enjoyable view as you walk the path. It's a fisherman friendly stream as well. The fishermen there were hoping to catch trout or bass and camped out along the banks near the bridge. If you have a rod and reel handy, you can try your luck out too! You might even get a chance like we did to see a bald eagle fly overhead! Just stay close to the path though. We spotted clumps of poison ivy edging towards the trail in more than one location.

(We didn't realize that, while trying to find the place.) The path is about a mile. The park is well-maintained and there are three or four gazebos of varying size, if you'd like to have a picnic. There is a nice waterfall area that some people were swimming in. On the way back to the car, on the other end of the path, I noticed many beautiful birdhouses in the trees.
