Being of polish heritage; curiosity had brought me to see changes; since covid; first hit. I loved the archway when you walked in; and was pleasantly surprised to see new food vendors. Great addictions were Mazureks Bakery, Bacik vendor, who has her own cooking show on Sundays in the evening , and Polish Cadets. Learned in addition, how the polish decorative eggs are made and the work and skill that goes into it. The rest of the festival was the same status quo. Liked how one didn't feel crowded in the food tent. Great job organizers.

Usually there are soccer or baseball games going at the entrance of the park, but it never seems to get overcrowded. If you're looking for a green area, here you have it!

This was actually my first real music festival and it wasnt really what I expected. We were able to secure really close spots for The Head and the Heart and even closer spots for the Headliner, Lord Huron. There were a ton of port o potties so there was never a wait despite the crowds. We were able to get out with no wait afterwards too. It was really well run. We had so much fun and I would definitely do it again.

We had a group of about 15 people and we were the only ones there. They have a nice pool and pool house that opens next week. I'm sure the place will be much more crowed then! Besides that there's a picnic pavilion, a small walking path, and large parking lot. Not a big place to explore, actually very small, but nice for our purpose. I'm sure in the summer the pool is the big draw. Will need to go back to get more pictures.

There are swings for siblings to enjoy or other playground equipment for fun. The fenced off pool area has plenty of grassy seating beyond, mostly bring your own chair, but a few benches. The locker rooms were a bit aged and could use an update. The park is a nice place to hang out!

There are not that many Japanese maple trees or maybe we were just too late in May. We went May 16 to see the full bloom, however, there were still some trees in bloom and it was very pretty and it smelled good. The area is well kept where the garden is but when you venture off into one side, it's a dark tunnel with spray paint all over. People were still running through it so I'm assuming it's a safe area. it's across the street from an art museum and the Japanese garden is a part of another history museum. However there was still more than enough parking (2+ lots) and so many seating options with or without shade- chairs, tables, benches, pavilions, etc. The water was cold and the general temp was a few degrees colder than our house, maybe because it's near the lake. However it didn't stop the kids from playing full throttle. It would be even better during the heat of the afternoon. The Splashpad had areas for all ages and comfort levels- intense bucket dumps and little tiny sprinkle mist areas and everything in between. Perfect for any ages, and it is fully fenced off from the playground. The playground didn't change much, they added some new accessible equipment, however I'd say the ideal age for this playground is 3+. Bathrooms are unisex, clean at the moment, and have changing tables. The diversity here and people watching opportunities are endless the giant Buffalo fountain is majestic.
