They are happy to give you broken fixtures, not allow you to return because it's broken, The resolution is less than professional they insisted on ordering the glass that was broken-and of course the incorrect part. The disappointment continues. In addition, this client was limited in selection because of vaulted ceilings. When we asked to confirm all necessary pieces were included we were told no. We needed to order additional extension rod, however everything else needed for installation would be included. Of course, this was also bad information. Additional canopy covers needed to be ordered to compensate for the slope (They were not included). I could buy a similar fixture from home depot without all the aggravation. So sad I try to give local businesses support, this business makes it difficulty.

He did have some very lovely old fashioned shades, w'fringe & embroidery that were very beautiful but a bit too 'much' for my taste! Since I had looked for other 'lamp shade' places here on Yelp & phoned 'Tomlin' before leaving home, and the man had been so helpful on the phone & it was on the way home I figured I might as well stop there also. I am so glad I did! Perfect shade for my lamp, 'old' looking but not 'boudoir-ish'! I had been unable to find an antique brass satin finish chain & fittings for a found on the curb on trash day 'Tiffany like' chandelier that I had looked high & low to match @ the 'usual' places w'no luck. I mentioned it & low & behold a few trips to the back & he came up w'all the parts I needed! One of the nicest & accommodating store owners I have EVER met! THANK YOU Sir! I quickly turned around and my husband was going to the breaker box and not saying a word so I knew he was in ‍ mode. I quickly grabbed the fire extinguisher in case there was any wires burning behind the wall. Thankfully from what we could tell there was not. But we are not electricians. My husband called a service we have that contacts area electricians for you and one called back, said all was good just not to use any of the other lights on that switch and he would see use the following Thursday as in a whole week. I could not believe when my husband told me later on that was what was going down. My exact words were oh hell no. I got on with the company we use explained what happened and they said hold on. That's where Mike comes in. He immediately got off the Wantagh Pkwy and came to our home in Levittown. He made sure all the mains were off then showed us that we still had a live wire cooking away in there. Most likely nothing would have happened because we weren't going to mess with it but you never know. Plus we have old fashioned fixtures in our home so Mike updated us into the 21st Century with some nice looking 3way lighting fixture. He is a somewhat quiet but truly down to earth guy with a lot of patients and family values. He was here for about 45 minutes and cleaned up after himself including I am sure the dust that was on my table. If you are looking for an honest, hard worker, who knows his stuff look no further.
