The only issue I had was the cost of jewelry, I felt like they strive to have the best quality of fine jewelry, and the style is this natural gemstone, hippie look, but not everyone is about that. I'm working on a One Piece-inspired Japanese style dragon sleeve, and his knowledge of traditional Japanese tattooing really shows in every detail. When we were designing the piece, he even went out of his way to watch episodes of One Piece so he could really understand the vibe and bring the right energy into the design. That level of dedication meant a lot to me. Throughout the appointment, he explained every step of the process so I always felt comfortable and knew what was happening next. The shop in Springfield off Q Street is always clean, welcoming, and has great music playing, which makes the whole experience even better. The sleeve isn't finished yet, but it already looks amazing, and I'm beyond excited to keep working with Illya to complete it. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about bringing your vision to life -- I can't recommend him enough.
