The loan officers I have dealt with are a complete joke, very unprofessional, and seem a bit disrespectful I have dealt with three of them and there underwriters are in the twin city's somewhere! I treat people the way I would like to be treated with dignity and respect! These folks can't seem to do this even at the drive up window! Maybe the new name came with this new attitude or possibly even the employees do not like the way centricity is doing business. Seems to me they are on some sort of power trip and want long standing professional customers to bank elsewhere and that's what will be happening. Just want to say thank you for showing your true colors now before I used your services, hope your business is short lived in the great tightly knit Duluth/ superior/ Hermantown community which I am proud to be from! Hopefully this review saves one person from being as disgusted as myself and they find a better bank as I have sincerely- Curtis M.

I called during their regular office hours. Have you ever called a doctor's office and gotten the menu to push numerous suggestions of buttons to push for your problem to be solved? That's what I was hearing. I left my message of not renewing my policy. After all the years of being with this local agency, having never met the owner, I think it was his voice going through the menu options. I called the DeSmet Agency on a Sunday afternoon, knowing they weren't open, but wanting a quote to see if I could do better with the exact same coverage. I left my message. The next morning, Monday, I received a call from Mr. Tim DeSmet, and we discussed my options. In less than an hour later, Mr. DeSmet called back with a quote. It's a good thing I was sitting down. With his diligence, Mr. DeSmet's quote would be saving me $538.40 a year!!! When I came into his office to start my policy with my new company, Mr. Tim DeSmet personally greeted me and shook my hand. Before this day, I was ignorant of knowing about DeSmet Agency because I blindly trusted an agency I thought was doing the best for me. I goofed but got wiser when that inflated car insurance bill arrived a couple of weeks ago. Why would anyone choose another agency?
