This is kind of a 4.5 for reasons I'll get into. - Showed up right on time at the agreed time! Friendly and professional. - Said he had his own supplies, but ended up using house water supply for power wash. Might have been a misunderstanding on my part. - Cleaned my filthy-ass old sedan - interior was demucked, outside was sparkling, waxed, paint corrected, the works. There were some spots inside and out that weren't white glove, but my car was so dirty at the time it was cleaned that this is 100% understandable. I'd probably have paid just a tad more to get a white glove service. Would definitely call Melvin again for next time. read more

I got a full detail for the interior and exterior for my rather old, very dirty truck. When I got home and looked at the truck, (I wasn't present for the cleaning) I was extremely pleased with the cleaning inside and overall pleased with the outside. I noticed just a few small spots on the exterior (that were not easy to see) and messaged Melvin asking about what they were and if there was a way to wipe them off. He responded within 10 minutes with a message that he was on his way back to my location to take a look. 5 minutes later he is in the driveway diligently cleaning off those few spots and even redid the areas around them that were already clean. Before he left, he checked the inside of the car again and the exterior an extra time to be sure there was nothing missed. It was absolutely above and beyond what I would've expected. I just recently had Melvin do our awnings that needed a serious cleaning. We didn't wash them for 3 years so they were extremely dirty. Melvin bought a special cleaner for our awnings so the fabric wouldn't get damaged. Melvin came out on time in the morning and worked on them for a few hours and they came out real nice and clean. Got a car from my grandma and it was in need of a deep clean. Decided to use Melvin's due to the good reviews and price. Throughout the whole period of him detailing, I would periodically look outside to see the progress. Most of the time I looked out he was on his phone. When he said he was done my mom and I checked the car out and it looked as if I had tried cleaning it myself. The vents still had dust on them, and on the black surfaces of my car it looked like he had sprayed a cleaner, but it was obvious he did not wipe it down. Due to the shabby job, I had to go in with a microfiber cloth myself and vacuum quite a bit. Would not reccomend for a deep detailed clean, but if you want a cheap carpet job then Melvins is okay but keep in mind it will be subpar. read more

I found Melvin on Yelp.com. Even though he only had a few reviews I decided to use him anyway because the few reviews that he had were positive. That was a mistake. He did not do a good job and I am convinced that his friends must have given him these positive reviews. He didnt do a good job of cleaning the carpets, he didn't wipe down my inner doors at all. Melvin's just was out to detail my 2010 Mini Cooper which now looks like new! He was on time, finished the job in a little over 2 hours, and just did a fabulous job. I had spilled a 16 ounce soda in the passenger area and the area has been beautifully steam-cleaned. I also own long-haired cats and dogs and their fur is gone. I can honestly say that the detail job and wash (I paid $135 for) was absolutely the worst detail job I have ever had! The first inspection I was surprised that the outside had not been washed. The inside was not cleaned around the stick shift, drink holders and most of the back seat. I have a 2018 Chevy Cruz with leather interior and I am the only one that rides in it (occasionally a coworker). The 2nd inspection I could see they rushed thru the exterior wash, still crumbs on the front seat. Will never again utilize their services and definitely do not recommend them. read more
