It is pricey - but it's worth the experience in my opinion. $160 for a 4 course meal for two - and it is a LOT OF FOOD. You get a cheese fondue, a salad, a main entree (proteins with hot pot style broth to cook), and a chocolate fondue for desert. All the fondues (cheese, broth, and chocolate) are delicious. My only qualms are I think the quality of the "dippers" could be better (like they could have least tasted the bread cubes), and omg, I ate so much raw meat because I had no idea how long to place some of the cubes in for lol. There are instructions but I was too lazy to read those. RYAN is the best - he is so polite and friendly. He even brought out glasses of champagne to celebrate a birthday! The inside is pretty classy. Good enough for a date night but I also saw some casually dressed families. This spot is located in a mall.

Personally we thought it was lacking in flavor. Didn't care for the sauce. And not much meat toppings. It was really good as leftover, though. I love cold pizza. Decided to try a cannoli. Never had one before. Not sure I liked the filling. But I have nothing to compare it to. I think they were frozen ones that they thawed. (Not fresh made). This place is probably really busy during college session. So the students keep it busy. We had a nice meal but not sure if we'll make it back.

**A Sad Farewell to Alpine Deli - A Beloved German Gem**…read moreIt's with a heavy heart that I write this: the Alpine Deli has permanently closed its doors, and with it, a truly special part of our community is gone. This place was more than just a deli or restaurant--it was a little slice of Germany right here in Spokane. My wife and mother-in-law, both German, found comfort, joy, and a sense of familiarity in its authentic offerings. Whether it was the perfectly prepared schnitzel, the warm and hearty goulash, or the shelves stocked with imported German groceries--from mustards and sausages to chocolates and breads--you could taste the tradition in everything they offered. The loss of those hard-to-find German pantry staples hits hard. Alpine Deli was our go-to for ingredients you simply couldn't get anywhere else, and now there's a real gap where that connection to home and heritage used to be. The staff always made us feel welcome. There was a warmth and friendliness that matched the comforting food and cozy atmosphere. You didn't just go to Alpine for a meal--you went for an experience, a piece of culture, and a chance to connect over something real and delicious. It's a real loss to see a place like this disappear. In a world of fast, generic options, Alpine Deli stood proudly for tradition, quality, and authenticity. It will be sorely missed--not only by us, but by everyone who ever stepped through its doors and felt, if only for a little while, like they were part of something special. Danke, Alpine Deli. You gave us so many good memories. You won't be forgotten.

Stopped by for lunch and was impressed with the food and service. I was somehow unaware that they…read morefocus on German fare, so was a bit unprepared for the seeming lack of lunch selection. It's mostly sausage and meats, meats and sausages, hearty rolls and pretzel buns and rye bread etc. I got a Reuben and it was fucking delightful. Shits was piled high with meat and featured a massive wad of house-made (assuming) sauerkraut. Excellent bread and cheese. Soft. Bread was not really toasted all that long and I devoured the thing. Cost $12 for a whole sandwich with no sides. I shouldn't be crying about this but yet I am a little bit. Throw a few kettle chips my way and make it feel like a meal eh? A few carrot sticks? Something. Anything. I can't afford to eat like this for lunch. My co-worker got a sausage roll and it was just that. A couple smallish sausages with hot mustard on a white roll. Looked and tasted great but I know he must've walked out hungry. $8. Cup of soup is $6. I'm complaining a lot about prices. It's not their fault. They make from scratch and Spokane City has em' bent over with taxes and fees at every turn I'm sure. Service was really friendly and they were knowledgeable. They vary offerings a lot and feature some different breads and desserts daily. Homemade bratwurst is available but they tend to sell out, judging by our 12:10pm visit when they had nada.
