Every time I go to Gazebo Garden (BTW if you haven't been there you HAVE TO GO. It is great) and i walk around to every truck, I always seem to end up here. I've had the pig mac, the chicken Cesar melt and the loaded tater tots. First of all, the sandwiches are pretty huge, so you definitely get your money's worth. But for some reason, they always sound way better then they end up being. Strange phenomenon. Not sure why that happens. I mean what sounds better than a sandwich with mac n cheese and pulled pork. Right? I always start out really enjoying it, but then end up tired of it after I get half way through it. I'm not usually a huge sandwich lover but this place uses Max's bakery for their bread and it makes it. The cheese-incrusted bread on that chicken melt is awesome. I don't recommend the loaded tater tots. I think the stuff they put on it sort of ruins the tater tots and it's hard to eat it. Still, Meltdown Bistro is definitely worth checking out. read more

Hit up this food truck for the first time at Enzo's Table. I was sad that they weren't serving the Mac n cheese balls or Brussels sprouts. I settled for the angus sliders, no complaints ! It was perfectly cooked, juicy and delicious. It's 8 bucks for only two but they're gargantuan in size. I'm def coming back!!! More than likely I'll check them out at gazebo gardens. read more

I have followed (stalked) them for sometime now and I have a couple of favorites so far and working my way down the menu- PIGMAC- what can I say its yummy goodness, grilled cheese with mac and cheese with BBQ pork- Cannot get enough. CHICKEN CORDON BLEU- to die for, flavors just caress your taste buds and leave you wanting more but you can't because you are full to the hilt! The sliders were actually very good. The rest of the food was just okay. Pretty expensive for what you get but the thing the killed it the most was the wait. I have had shorter waits on Mother's Day with no reservation. Seriously I had to wait over 30 mins for my food and there were only like 4 orders that came out between when I ordered and when I got my food. The food tasted fairly good but both my friend and I got sick immediately following. That aside very friendly people all things considered.

First, I would really like to thank Pete and Meltdown Bistro for helping with our Celebration of my Grandmothers life. We were at odds at what to do for the day, many family members were coming from out of town, so having a potluck was not an option. My aunt and I discussed a food truck, but what kind??. One of my Grandmothers favorite meals was Grillcheese and tomato soup, so that was our goal and we also wanted to provide burgers for those who don't care for grilled cheese. I did some searching on the web and Meltdown Bistro kept popping up in Yelp. Since I refer to yelp quite a bit, I trusted that the reviews would not let me down. and they didnt!! Instead of offering the full menu, we opted to offer a limited menu of Beef and Bacon Sliders, the Spinach,Pesto and Provalone Melt and the Grilled Meltdown grilled cheese, then all entree's were offered the Tomato Bisque. ALL OF IT WAS DELICIOUS! I went with the spinach provolone melt that had an option to add bacon, YES PLEASE, along with the Tomato Bisque. It was sooooo good. My kids had the Sliders and my youngest said it is one of the best burgers he has ever had. They were very generous in size and one slider would have been very satisfying. Now, I won't speak for the rest of the family, but I will say, I heard plenty of "oh this is soooo good" during the day. To finish things off, the Smores Melt was added to our menu, as a dessert, and again it was a hit! After all was calculated the prices were more than fair. Pete did a great job taking care of food for our special event and I will definitely be calling again the next time I have an event. read more

My dad and I decided to try out this truck for the first time and my dad put his grudge against food trucks aside. He got the Cuban Melt and I got the angus sliders and tater tots. I asked for only 1 slider and ended up getting 2. I'm sure they charged us for the two, so the side tater tots we paid for was a waste. We paid $27 for our 3 items. But the tater tots were only $4. That's quite a bit for lunch. We come home to eat it and my dad immediately grumbled. His Cuban Melt's bread absorbed all of the grease, so it was soggy. He literally squeezed the bread and it dripped a lot with grease. I ate my slider and it was alright. It surely didn't take $12-$13 worth. Started off a little salty, but didn't have that much flavor. It needed ketchup, so I dipped it. The tater tots I received didn't really have much flavor, but surprisingly weren't greasy. My sliders were both greasy. It was so greasy that the contents slid out of the sandwich and plopped. I ate one slider like what I wanted in the first place, but didn't eat the second. My dad didn't eat any of this sandwich and I didn't eat the other half. I'm left with heart burn and upset stomach. If you're cholesterol-conscious or you need to stay away from greasy foods for your health, I wouldn't eat here. I'd stay away. We've been having bad experiences with the food trucks here at Enzo's and Meltdown Bistro really topped the cake for us.. I think we're for sure done with food trucks now. read more

I was really looking forward to eating here. They were at Gazebo Gardens on a Friday night. There was a bit of a wait due to the line and getting orders out. Half the menu was already crossed off by the time I got to the window to order. I got the Pig Mac and Chicken Caesar melt. They ran out of white bread so they had to use marbled rye to sub. The sandwiches were pretty average to me. The Pig Mac wasn't bad. Just BBQ pork and macaroni and cheese melted together in a sandwich. The Chicken Caesar melt lacked flavor. We have been eating from this truck every weekend at the Bella frutta @ shepherd and willow. They have the best melts! Hands down. They all work so hard and have amazing customer service.
