Friendly, welcoming owners. we arrived late; our GPS totally misled us.
Owner indicated that this was a common problem. We had a good sized room in the front, small balcony and very small bathroom. We managed for two nights and the overall ambiance was pleasant. WIFI was not great, if you huddled in one spot near the office, you could connect at times.
We ate at the restaurant both nights, as we heard the food was okay and the many other choices in the village might be more disappointing.
The selection of dishes is good, the cooking method is to bake the food in cast iron dishes which results in over done food, Trout some what dry, beefsteak, like shoe leather. Mushrooms good. First bottle of wine ordered was Amphora and was corked, second bottle replaced without complaint was "Velvet". Prices reasonable. Pool nice. We heard that the family opened up a new spot called Melrose Viewpoint and friends staying there liked it. You don't come to Pamukkale for the food or beautiful hotels, you are there for the sights, so be accepting. read more
