This review is for the hotel accommodations and breakfast. See my previous review on their…read morerestaurant. PROS: Very homey vibe here. It feels like an old country home. There is a newer building and that is the Venus Suite Hotel, but you all have the same pools, the same breakfast, the same lobby and public areas. The building for the Suite Hotel just looks newer and swankier, but honestly I like the homey feel of the older Venus Hotel. The staff is super friendly. They'll drop you off at the ruins/salt baths whenever you need. They are very chill about rules - we got there very early on a Tuesday and were leaving at 5 am the next day, so when they realized this they said we could have breakfast that first day. Another couple had the check our time wrong and they were fine with that. It feels very family run. Our Booking.com confirmation email said our room was 40€, but they hadn't charged anything to our credit card (they said that sometimes people show up and they just don't charge anything - they just don't take any credit card info from Booking.com). They charged us 60TL for our room, which comes out to only 20€! There are two pools, each about 12m long (I'm a swimmer; estimating). The robes they provided were really really soft; it was nice to wrap yourself in this after taking a swim. The pool is very cold! They also have a shower/bathroom off the lobby, useful if you arrive before check-in. Breakfast was a decent layout: cereal, some baked goods/breads, small local Apple's/oranges, a few cheese/meat options, yogurt and Jams, butter and hazelnut chocolate. It was the usual fare. The tea was very over steeped. CONS: The Wi-Fi was very very spotty. I could barely get it in our room and only in a small area in the lobby. We had lunch here and it was pretty bad; the kofte was tasteless and dry, and my clay pot chicken was bland. They don't take credit card, only cash.

This hotel is run like a family business (probably is one) but certainly isn't luxurious. The…read morerooms are small and bathrooms even smaller. Everything needs to be updated and I mean everything. This includes the bedding drapes bathrooms and wifi is incredibly slow. The breakfast was disappointing with most items not at all appetizing. This includes both the hard boiled eggs and even the fruit. The best item was the coffee cake. That was really all I could eat. All this being said, the staff is friendly and you can tell they are trying their best!

Hotel owner kind of pushy in selling you the paragliding. Breakfast okay but not great…read more Let me say first that I did not have the pleasure (sarcasm) of staying here. This "boutique" hotel was the base of a one day fly in fly out trip to pamukkale from Istanbul. The "included" breakfast is laughable and mediocre, but since it's "included" I guess one shouldn't complain much. Aside from the wooden doors on the rooms and the vines of grapes (I believe) that are growing in the courtyard, there doesn't seem to be anything "boutique" about this place. The man who greeted us upon arrival in the morning (older heavier set man, distinguishable from the other similar looking one based on the his limited command of English in comparison to the man who on the surface at least seems a bit less rough/aggressive), he asked us twice if we wanted to purchase the paragliding, very pushy and aggressive I found, this was already after I told the driver from the airport no. Upon arrival back at this hotel after the tour, we were given extremely mixed information about airport transport. They seem disorganized, with a focus on every dollar (or euro) they can squeeze from you, and the moment it's realized that you won't budge, they feign no more interest in you. And I have to agree with other reviewers, as they do seem to herd hotel guests like cattle. My advice, avoid this hotel, avoid any tour that has anything to do with this hotel (I.e. mislina tour agency, they do not have a tripadvisor apparently, otherwise this review would be posted there).

My experience here was very strange. This is a family owned hotel. The owners father recently…read morepassed away. I know this because it was one of the first things he shared with us while we were admiring the photo on the wall. He said that his father had a heart attack in the lobby, and he was gone in 45 seconds. Just like that. I understand how painful of an experience it must have been, but it's not the best thing to be sharing with people who are just looking for a place to sleep for the night. He showed us several different rooms (prices sky high for the lack of quality). I was tired so I didnt care much to look. After settling, we decided to go back down to pay for our room. The guy seemed offended that we wanted to pay, and said he would be right back to take care of it. As he was gone, we noticed algae growing in the footbath in front of the pool. Not a good sign. My fiancé came down from further inspection and shared with me that the beds smelled of sweat and had hair in between the sheets. Our intention was to pack up and leave before the guy got back, but unfortunately he was back too soon. Upon voicing our concerns, he offered clean sheets. Thats an expectation upon arrival anyway. Rooms should always be cleaned between guests, and based off of the lack of customers this place had.. they had all of the time in the world to properly clean and prepare rooms. We refused, and before we could explain, he waved us off and said "okay" in Turkish before storming back inside.
