His commitment to teaching his clients how to achieve a sustainable, healthy lifestyle sets him apart from others focused solely on quick fixes or trends. His consistency and genuine support makes every session worthwhile. Overall, he's a top notch trainer and an even better person. Best investment I've made is working with Ryan for a more active and healthy lifestyle.

I've been training with Ryan virtually (over Zoom) for a year now. A year ago I could barely lift 5…read morelbs and was out of breath after 20 jumping jacks. Now I'm training 2x a week doing headstands, raw functional training, muay thai and calisthenic exercises on the parallette bars. I haven't found virtual training to be a drawback at all. Ryan is extremely attentive to your posture when doing any of the exercises and will point out nuances and provide clear, specific feedback to improve your positioning. Sometimes even a millimeter of change that Ryan suggests makes an exercise 1.5x more challenging, but that's when you know that he's watching closely to make sure you're doing the exercise right. Highly recommend Ryan as a trainer for anyone who is looking to stay fit throughout the week but doesn't want a gym commute. Heck, I was training out of the living room for a while before graduating to the garage. The workout programs are challenging but he mixes it up to keep it interesting, and ensure that all of the muscles across your body are worked in a balanced way.

Now I love dropping in to reconnect when I'm back in town! They offer personal training and semi-private training/small group sessions, making it a great fit for both beginners starting their fitness journey and experienced athletes looking for accountability and support. The gym is always clean, the members are friendly and serious about their fitness goals, and the staff is consistently welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. It's such a positive environment to train in.

I was scared to join any gym after that. However, I really wanted to get back into shape so I started looking on Yelp. I saw A2F and all the good reviews so I decided to go and check it out. I talked to Arlene (one of the owners) and shared my story about the last gym I tried and how I was really scared to try a new one. Plus, I get migraines a lot. So I wasn't sure if I'd be able to go as often as I wanted to or for as long as I wanted to. She was very understanding and assured me that nothing like that would happen here. She even made a program to fit my migraines so that if I couldn't come as much one week that I could make it up the next. So I signed up. I needed a gym that told me exactly what to do because I had no idea what I was doing. And that's what they did. I joined the group classes which were available each hour. They would run through a circuit of exercises with anyone who was there and cater the weight as needed. They were also very concerned with doing each exercise properly so that no one would get hurt. So if my knee started to hurt I would say so and they would tell me how I needed to adjust it. Or if my neck was hurting they would have me work on other muscles so as not to make it worse. Honestly, this is the best gym I could have picked. The owners (Mark and Arlene) truly care about each person that comes in their door and want to do all they can to help. They also work with a lot of those over 40 and know that it's a lot different than working out when you're 20 which I appreciate. I was able to go until last November when my migraines were getting a lot worse. I couldn't do much of anything so I asked Arlene if I could pause my membership for a couple of months to try to get them under control. She said no problem and honored it. I started again this January after getting my migraines under better management. It was nice to be back again. The community there is amazing. Everyone is encouraging. I highly recommend A2F Gym for anyone who wants a superior experience. This isn't your franchise gym that costs $10 a month, but you get what you pay for. Thank you Arlene and Mark! You have restored my hope in gyms!
